Kuro felt a sense of nostalgia as he entered the old orphanage. He briefly wondered is all orphanariums looked this way... will minus the dust and lack of kids or caretakers. His own had been much like this bare and creepy. He hated that place, hated being poor, that was why he had become a pirate in the first place. At that time he had been so naive, had he new the troubles of a pirates life... but their was no sense in worrying about that now. It was in the past and couldn't be changed.
Just as the Pirate captain brought himself out of his musings the girl, Kaede, Mentioned pictures as the other two started looking about the Orphanage. Kuro gave the girl a nod, the fact that their was one person in the pictures but differences children for all the pictures hinted that this had been going on for a while. "Gather those pictures, I have a feeling they'll be useful." He stated more than told the girl as she was already working on removing the pictures.
He could hear the boy called Rince tapping at walls for secret passages or trap doors. I seemed a bit juvenile but it could yield results. The boisterous man, Henry was helping Kaede with the pictures it seemed so Kuro moved on to one of the other rooms of the Orphanage. This one was a large bedroom made for 4 children with bunk-beds. He briefly thought of Sham and Buchi as he imagines them as children share one of these types of beds but that imagine fades as he discarded it from him mind as being trivial and useless. There were toys laying on the floor. never cleaned up and left where they were collecting dust. It was both eerily and creepy in a way, as he opened a box on a table, it played music as a mechanical bird danced. This was likely a girl's room, now that he looked a bit more.
Then he saw it, something something that made him question logic, or if he was loosing his mind. When The captain of the black cat pirates turned around he saw a ghostly figure of a little girl that looked creepily like Kaya. The 5 year old looking girl smiled at him then spoke, "Nii chan! Your taking me home today aren't you, Nii chan? I'm So happy!" She said with a giggle and ran to hug Kuro's slender legs only to pas threw them and disappear. Kuro looked shocked for several moments before regaining his composure. He coughed into his hand and adjusted his glasses with his palms be for looking behind and around his person to assure himself that the specter was gone. What ever caused the children of this orphanage to disappear, he was sure that is wasn't good and their was indeed something wrong here.
