Yoshimato was clearly in full agreement of Anabella’s proposition - this was something to celebrate! He was nodding enthusiastically to what she was saying and was about to reach over and grab Samuel’s other arm to help yank him out of bed, but the psychiatrist’s words stopped him.
First he looked at Anabella, seeing the little twitch in the corners of her mouth, but decided not to play along with that one. Turning back to Samuel, he shrugged.
“The bed is big enough for the three of us…” he started to explain that he didn’t need too much space, but then Anabella seemed to be of a similar thought as she also suggested they all share the bed. He wasn’t too keen on curling up at their feet, but he was about to offer to transform into a kissing bug and occupy very little space. That thought, however, was gone from his mind and replaced with the struggle of hiding his discomfort so as not to seem rude.
As Anabella patted his head, Yoshi smiled a bit, though his shoulders tensed. The pair of antennae that previously disguised themselves as black streaks in his hair twitched at her touch and seemed to rise in slight protest of being patted down.
Then Samuel stood and moved with as much grace as a cinderblock being dragged across the room. Turning his head toward the movement, Yoshi was first worried that his friend was going to trip, and so he was ready to move out of the way to ensure that he wouldn’t be grabbed to break the man’s fall… then his gaze was lowered to the backpack that was pulled out and the contents that rolled out of it made the singer gasp.
“No way…” he uttered in awe, growing silent for a moment, only to be filled with new refreshed excitement only seconds later. “No way, no way!!
The short rhyme was accompanied by a beat and some waving of his hands, but he soon grew more serious.
“Are you going to eat it? You can be just like us! Think about what we can do as a trio…” Perhaps it was the adrenaline of their escape, but Yoshi was clearly on a high after recent events and was quickly getting carried away. His attention was now on both Samuel and Anabella, and each question he threw at them came with a clicking sound and playful finger guns. “Can either of you sing? Help me expand my business from solo artist to a band? Can you play any instruments? Any musical talents? Hm?”

Doctor’s been holdin’ out on us,
hiding a fruit in his cabin without no fuss!”
