"What happened down there? There was so many goons down there and it went quiet real fast!" Thyra beamed, pleased with herself and utterly unfazed by Bianca's disapproval. At least, until Bianca finished speaking.
"False lead? Butbutbut - I found all these goods!" Thyra lookedcomically and dramatically morose, waving the pilfered notes around. "What do you mean by false? That thug was sooo sure there was stuff going here?"
Thyra shuffled her feet, a little nervous and less sure of herself for once. Finally, she looked at the papers she had pilfered from Dwight. Most were not labelled, unfortunately, but the books were all clearly distinct. "I forced that accountant geek to cough up their important docs, took a few for myself before I left him to the cops."
Opening one of the books, she frowned. Thyra was greeted on the first page by a strangely incomplete grid with numbers filling much of its contents. Sadly, she didn't notice any strange patterns in the filled number or circled grids. "Hmm, maybe this one is a secret code."
"What do you make of this?" She closed the book and passed it to Bianca, noticing the title in passing - "101 Suduko Puzzles". If Thyra had spent more time doing number games and less time bashing heads, she might have recognized a most popular series. The second book she cracked open had a strange series of dates. Even Thyra could tell they delineated shipments.
"Cookies? I didn't know the Sharkie Bites had a sweet tooth...? That's a crazy lot of money to spend on those though.... Hey! Tobacco Dock! Dwight mentioned that place after a good lumpin'. Maybe we'll find some secret sweets there!" Her tone indicated that Thyra genuinely thought the Sharkie Bites were in this to smuggle sweets.
She passed the second book over to Bianca as well. "Oh, right. Dwight is the nerd. A few wedgies and he babbled like a book! Mr. Hot Chocolate was there on the other side of the snail."
The last booklet was actually a tourist pamphlet with maps of different areas of Glasenburgh and listings of shops. Many of the maps had ink scrawled onto the pages, seeming to denote zones. Some of the shops had underlinings with numbers scibbled next to them. Thyra groaned. "Ok, I don't get this one. Why can't people just write things down in easy lists properly!?"
The last book was also passed to Bianca, rather half heartedly. "I wonder where Thomas is. I left him with some goons when we made a grand entrance, I'm sure he took good care of them. Shame I was shaking down Weedy for info instead and couldn't help!"
