Yi looked down at Gabz, he tilted his head slightly his eyes calm... a slight frown propped onto his face. He shook his head slowly when Gabz mumbled her thanks.
"No, no. You don't have to thank me."
He said with a rather stern tone, Yi was serious. Gabz didn't have to thank him for anything. It was he who had to thank her for sticking around and deciding to help him on his mission. Although perhaps more surprising is the fact that Yi was allowing her to help... then again this was Wolfric's mess more than anything. His responsibility as the first mate was to make sure she regrouped with him safely.
"Sniper and what does that matter? You're a human being aren't you."
Yi said, there was a vague irritation in his voice as he poked Gabz above below her neck. The swordsman let out a sigh and let his arms dangle to his sides, he wanted to find Wolfric badly. But he also wanted to help Gabz, biting his lower lip he turned around and made his way toward the loch, leaving the marshland behind. The waves of the large lake crashed against its rocky shore, black pebbles decorated the inland beach... grey murky waters washing up against the smooth grey-black pebbles that decorated the beach. Yi's boots caused the pebbles to crackle and pop as he walked upon them softly.
Standing at the shore of the loch he stared out into it... a thick fog obscuring much of it. There was a serene silence to this place despite its gloomy colors. It was unlike anything Yi had seen before, it didn't compare to the emerald blue waters of Dojo Island with its white crisp sands and green pines.
The closest thing was Samyong beach, a beach southwest of the island. The sand there was black as a starless night... the dark strand contrasted magically with the normally emerald blue causing it to pop out. It made the young man remember how the older women of his island would go collect the sand and apply it to their faces to stave off wrinkles.
"It's beautiful isn't it?"
Yi said simply standing there watching the waters crash. For a moment forgetting he wasn't alone. He briefly turned around just to make sure Gabz was still there, once he saw her he'd put his hat down and untie his hair once more. Walking closer to the water he knelt before it and began to splash his face with it a bit. It felt... refreshing...
"Come on Gabz. Let's relax. Tell me. What's wrong."
He turned around, his face wet and with a wide smile on it.
