Despite the angered robot throwing out a mighty threat harder than he threw that rock last night, Gavins only stared back at Wight's singular optic with a satisfactory smug smirk breaming behind the bristles of his massive mustache. Was this woman apart of his posse? Another member of his own hunting crew? For a machine, Gavins could practically feel the artificial anger emanating from Wight.
"Release her? I'm afraid I cannot do such a thing!" Gavins shifted his rifle over his shoulder and took a couple of steps closer towards Wight while stroking at his mustache, "You see, you and your green-scaled friend here have encroached on my bounty! Trying to steal another man's mark, well, that's just bad sport! Are you aware that the little beasty you're harboring, a lot of people in the town want him brought in for the terror he's caused! So, if you could please turn him over towards us, we can all walk away from here safe and sound."
Marina could see that Wight was holding back something, he had not reacted as quickly as he had done priorly on Funkyard. She looked over to him worryingly trying to subtly ease his tension a bit.
"Wight, please, easy now..." she quietly pleaded unable to remain quiet. She could only wonder what lengths Wight would go here to protect the little cub, even wondering if despite taking him in last night if he would comply with the hunting party by handing Tiberius over to them. It was an unsettling thought, but the piranha girl hoped Wight wouldn't back down to this smug bastard.
Tiberius finally chimed in, effectively "sacrificing" himself so that Wight and Marina could be let free. The fishwoman felt a sinking in her chest when Tibs hopped down and stood before the hunters, he needn't surrender to them like this! They could surely fight these guys off someway, somehow... They just needed time to think of something!
"AH! There you are, beasty! Finally decided to show yourself properly!" Gavins chided with a devilish smirk. He raised one hand and signaled a few of his hunting party forwards with a quick waggle of his fingers. Two heavier men stepped forward with nets and shackles as they took their place at Gavins's side. "How very brave and noble of you to throw yourself forward, beasty! I will say tracking you these past couple of days has been quite the thrill, one of the best I've had in recent memory! Ah well, it'll all be over with soon..."
"Hey, Mustache!" Marina interrupted, quickly trying to think of a lie to try and buy the group some time to strategize. She figured if they played along with Gavins, they could get this gun out of her back and try and save Tibs. "You got what you came here for, how about letting us get on our way now?"
"Ah yes, our deal!" the mustached hunter said turning his attention towards the piranha girl, "Well, I must apologize you have to find out like this, but I'm here to collect on each one of you!" A couple of other men behind Gavins moved forward pushing up some massive cannons while everyone else began to raise their rifles or spin their swords around in the direction of Tibs, Wight, and Marina.
"A massive bloke like your metal friend here, dangerous as he may be, will bring in quite the sum for the sheer amount of scrap he's worth. And the fish, why I know a few wealthy individuals who would pay handsomely for a fishwoman of her stature."
