“Oh god, no!” The impact of the belt didn’t do anything to deter the beasts movement. Idol tried to raise the belt for a second attack, but couldn’t find the strength, and wound up dropping the belt to the floor instead.
There was no use. This cat was too strong. Idol had run out of ideas and options to counter-attack, and seemed to be out of time. The cat’s onslaught was too much, and all of its powers dwarfed anything Idol had in his arsenal.
Reluctantly, he released the useless headlock on the cat. If he wanted to get out of this alive, there was only one option left. He had to submit. As shameful as it may have been, if he wanted to live and fight another day then this was the only option.
“I… I…Gi…Gi…” He struggled to get the words out. His body had no air left to breathe, let alone speak. He raised a palm to slap on the animals back. Hopefully, it understood the mechanics of ‘Tapping out.’
It was then that the creatures’ tail slapped him across the face. This strike knocked his head back into the wall, hitting it with a mighty thud.
“This cat” He thought, “it’s done it all, hasn’t it?”
Idol weakly slumped down on the cat’s large back, “It’s taken my pride, it’s taken my lunch, it’s taken my dignity” As he was pushed further and further into the wall, he could the bones in his ribcage begin to crack. “It’s taken my bones…
“But I’m not going to let it take anything else here.”
Idol could feel something rushing through him as the light in his eyes began to fade away. Vigor poured through his body in a way he couldn’t remember feeling before..
This conversation. It was one Idol repeated in his head numerous times. The last time he had spoken with his father before he took the challenge to travel the world to defend that belt of his.
His hands traveled down the monsters immense waist, and found themselves on its underbelly. This isn’t a move he’s ever done before, yet at a time like this, it felt like the right thing to do, the only thing to do. “Do or die time.” Everything Idol had left was used in this maneuver. With his arms around the cat’s body, he struggled to lift this cat off of its legs for one of the simplest, yet most devastating attacks a pro-wrestler could have in their arsenal. A move scoffed at by a young Idol who felt he lacked the strength to pull it off.
The Piledriver.
His arms were burning. His back was burning. But there was something inside of him that was burning even hotter. A fuel that was able to power his muscles to push beyond the pain and get this damn thing off of the ground for only a moment. A moment was all he would need.

“At the end of their rope, something spectacular happens to these wrestlers”

“That last burst of energy, that last all-out attack. That fire! That fighting spirit! That’s what you need to make it in this world, boy!”
