Ultimate Showdown! Grindhouse Girl VS Wolf Fang Pirates!

“HA! TAKE THAT!”

Wolfric cried out victoriously as Gear Girl went careening off to one side. She was very much like a smug child who had just won a rock-paper-scissors match. Skidding to a stop, Wolfric grinned widely, her head still kind of spinning from the wheel thing. But not too bad! She was getting better at that move! Wait.

“Bounty?” Wolfric looked over at Gear Girl, “What bounty? I have a bounty?!”

Scurrying over to Gear Girl’s side like an excited puppy, Wolfric tugged on her sleeve.

“Hey.”

Another tug.

“Hey! Gear Girl! What bounty? What’s it for?”

Smiling excitedly, Wolfric practically hopped from one foot to the other as she waited for an answer. Her first bounty! That was like...like becoming a celebrity in the pirate world! Not that she really cared about things like that, but it was one step closer to her dream. All the great pirates had bounties. It didn’t even matter if it was a small one!

Well, maybe it did. Wolfric would like a large bounty. Something that said, yeah I’m tough. Fight me! Try it! Or something like that. Essentially, the larger the bounty, the closer she got to the king of the pirates. Wait.

“So you’re a bounty hunter? But you’re wearing a lot of white...marines wear white. If you don’t wanna be confused for one, maybe switch outfits, huh?”

[Blitzfrieg]

“Owowowow....” Gears grimaced with a pouty expression as she rubbed her head.  Her eyes went wide and she shrunk up against the ruined wall behind her as this white haired woman rushed up to her as if they hadn’t just been fighting to the death.  “Hands off!”  Her vision was still a little fuzzy and the world was stills pinning, so when Wolfric tugged on her sleeve she growled, baring her red teeth and chomping the air where the woman’s hand had been.  She had Piranha Fishman in her blood, so that bite could rip through flesh, wood, or bone with ease.  Combined with her gears she could do far, far worse.  

“Ugh...what’s your deal?  You don’t know you are a criminal?”  Cog’s stuck out her tongue.  “You are bad!  You kidnapped someone!”  She grinned, glaring at the woman.  Her head was recovering, so she was buying time, humoring this criminal until she could wipe that childish expression off Wolfrics face.  “Five hundred thousand by the way....” She licked her lips.  “Not that it matters.”  She could focus on Wolfric completely now.  She she readied herself.

”You are bad.  I am bad too.  So I hunt bad people like you.”  Her uppermost knuckles shifted into small gears, their owner torquing them in preparation to put a hole in the white haired swordswoman.  “It’s ok to do bad things to bad people! That’s how it should be....let the bad sort the bad....and let the good clean up the mess! GIYA GIYA NO GEARBITE!”  Her teeth shifted into small cogs once again, producing that loud, rapid clicking sound from before.  She chomped down, sealing her lips and exhaling a shower of sparks from her nostrils like an aggravated bull.  “Staaggandish....sttaagiilll...bbiiiggattch!”  Speaking while her GEARBITE was active wasn’t hard, as long as she wasn’t clenching her teeth to create a shower of sparks.  Lunging like a beast at the woman’s throat, said woman mentioned her outfit and something about thinking she was a marine.

Cog’s stopped comically short, falling on one foot, then stomping her feet several times.  “I’M NOT A MARINE!  Marine’s are stupid brutes!  I WAS DOING WHITE BEFORE IT WAS COOL!”  Cog’s poked Wolfric hard in the stomach.  Then she did it again.  She would continue to do so, increasing in speed and frequency if the woman didn’t stop her.  “MAYBE THEY SHOULD SWITCH HMM?!  Why don’t you complain about it to them!?”  She transformed her uppermost knuckle into a gear, spinning her finger around like a drill, aiming for another poke.  “Oh WAIT!  You can’t cause you’re bad!”

Meanwhile......

”Screw this! Why are we listening to that rat-lipped asshole?”  One of the marines that had been tasked with observing Kobei said with a spit.  He and the handful of others sent to follow were seething with the urge to beat this pirate senseless.  They all knew, and were friends with the men he’d beaten.  They all wanted a piece of him.  So when their improvised squad leader expressed his desire to do just that, few argued.  

“Standish!”  He pointed at one of his men, the one he knew to be fastest of them.  He was a weird one, and scary as hell.  Some said he used to work for the World Government.  Now he was just a corrupt bounty hunter like the rest of them.  Regardless of the uniform, no one present actually represented the Marines.  “You go around back.  Get that girl and get back to base.  We will teach this punk a lesson!” 

With that the five crooks emerged from their alleyway.  One had a large, metal club studded its whole, three foot length.  Two had automatic rifles.  One had a pair of brass knuckles and plated kicking boots, while the leader, Ains, carried a long, wickedly curved cutlass.  Once in front of the house. “Pirate!  Get out here you scumbag!”  There was no point in dropping the charade.  If anyone witnessed, they’d simply believe this squad of Marines to be apprehending a criminal.  “On behalf of the world government and the navy!  Release your prisoner and come accept your punishment!”  The group would break in if he didn’t come out.  Once inside they didnt’ have to worry about witnesses.  So everyone inside was a target until they got what they wanted.....which if Standish did his job and captured the girl, would be little more than teaching Kobei a lesson.
