Seeing the boys retreat, one injured, was almost a disappointment. But as she waited, the disappointment morphed into excitement as a spore cloud came into existence. Remembering what -what was his name? Jack- said about how his spores irritated the skin and made them itchy, she took a measured step back. While she was confident she could handle it, she wouldn't let arrogance make her stupid. If the cloud touched her, it would annoy her and might impede her fighting ability.
In the silence, Amber picked a family noise. The sound of sharp metal cutting through air- oh look a knife. Tilting one way to the side, the blacksmith avoided the projectile all together, it flew past harmlessly and imbedded itself in the tree behind her. Not a bad throw, and where he aimed... Oh, this was getting interesting.
"I see you know where to aim that blade of yours" She called out, quietly walking around the spore cloud so she might catch a glimpse of their hiding places. Judging from the angle the knife came from... looking up, Amber was able to spot the telltale glint of metal. His Tsubaki had given him away, and she stared directly into the dark haired boys eyes.
"But you've given yourself away" And with that, aimed a new gun at him. She didn't try to shoot his body, however, no... Where would the fun in that be? She shot the branch he was perched on. The young blacksmith kept an ear out for the other boy, letting them believe all her attention was on the darker male. Though there was one thing she was curious of, and that was whether his spores were flammable. If they were...
Amber took a deep inhale of her cigarette, the bud glowed orange and she let out a breath of smoke. If that was the case, this fight would get a lot more interesting. Hopefully they would try a full on offensive maneuver, because playing long ranged defense against a gunslinger with good aim was not a smart thing to do. Then again, maybe they have a strategy to bypass the usual cons of fighting against a long distance fighter.
Then again, they don't seem strong enough to fight her in close range either... Well, she's been surprised before. Maybe they'll break the trend?
