Man, oh man. The blond had not expected things to suddenly change from what he knew had happened the last time they were in this scenario. Not when everything for the most part had played out precisely the same. Just as he had been readying his own agile kick to the train robber's jaw, the black haired brother had moved into action. Even as his leg was coming up over the back of the seat the two siblings had been a moment prior, the youth realized he was far too slow. After his new remark about shoving the man's head in the bag, Pluto had snagged the man's wrist and jerked it, manipulating the joints into a position that looked incredibly painful.
As Kurosaki dropped back down, his leg having never fully kicked out so that he didn't accidentally strike Pluto instead of his intended target, the young man rose an eyebrow. "Wait... Did he actually just make a comment that he was going to shove the guy's head into the sack cause... That kind of made it sound more like the guy's head was valuable the way he said it... You know what, never mind. Best not to worry about it," Kurosaki mused to himself internally.
In a dazzling display of martial artist ingenuity and speed, Pluto systematically disposed of all of their enemies one by one even with guns pointed at him. While he had done a swift job of taking some out the last time Kurosaki had witnessed this event, this time it seemed like he had more flare. At the end of it all, the young man was standing over top of the last criminal with one of the men's guns now in his hands. Having almost blinked and missed the entire event, Kurosaki shuffled out into the small walkway. There was a cold silence that had fallen over everyone in the train car. Most people were stunned by what had happened and their hearts were still probably racing. Others had actually lost consciousness from the pressure of the event. Some people just couldn't handle that sort of thing.
The adventurer joined Pluto, his own heart rate having sped up during the fight but now slowing down. Still, he looked calm if not a bit smug. Surely now the siblings would have to believe him, right? Everything that he had said had pretty much come true down to the letter. It would have to take a pretty stubborn individual to not see that he was telling the truth. Or so the optimistic young man believed.
"There you go with that weird humor again," Kurosaki responded to the question, shaking his head. "How about we tie him up with something and get him to tell us everything? The Marines can deal with him once The Puffing Ice reaches Water 7. Actually, there's not much he could tell us really... I know there are some men on the cart right in front of this back one. And there are definitely some men up front toward the engine room..."
That was where the normally upbeat kid trailed off. What exactly was up there in the front car? Once he had dropped down and things had started to heat up, time had reset itself. All he knew was that this time he had to get there quicker somehow in order to save anyone from being killed. He couldn't bare to witness that scene again or that blood curdling scream that had come forth out of the boy's mouth that had been with victim. Since time had reset, surely it meant that there was a chance to save him? Unless his death was inevitable...
"Actually, we can't really waste time. We should head up front as soon as we can," Kurosaki advised. He almost didn't want to tell anyone else what he had witnessed since it made his own stomach do unsettling flips. "We can get to the roof access if we go straight out the car door. There's a ladder right next to it. But you might have to leave your sister here... The wind is really strong up on the roof." Mostly he was also hoping that he would be again fortunate not to get swept off.
