The emerald eyed pirate heard the woman agree that they would need to work together. He smirked seeing that they were now seeing eye to eye. Their was a bright gleam in the boys eye as he now thought, "I've got myself an escape route now but I've gotta make it look believable..." He looked back at the lion who was talking once again. This didn't settle that well with Shin. Lions shouldn't be able to speak yet he realized something.
Maybe the beast was telling the truth. He might have been the chef from before, after all he did have a few qualities. Though appearances could be faked so Shin wouldn't have trusted the creature for a minute. He was still set on escaping the scene but now he was somewhat interested in the being. Without saying anything he'd start stepping to the other side of the lion in order to close off any route for escaping. Of course this was only a ploy so that he could run past the beast with a false attack.
The wind blew past him as it brushed him as well as the sand under the soles of his shoes. Stepping slowly he'd begin charging the lion as he rubbed his hands with static and all. He was now one hundred percent ready to attack. "Kosu no ~", before he could finish the last word of his attack Shin would fall into the sand thus sliding right toward the feet of the lion. He was too famished to attempt to fight and enter fainted from overexerting himself. From the fall into the sand his eye patch would be knocked off revealing that the eye was shut closed. A scar running down the center of the eye and the stitches that sealed it shut. Although from the looks of things it would appear that the stitches could be taken out. His eye was a pale white and his face had been littered in sand from the foolish fall.
There were no dreams this time around only the pitch black darkness from the notion of sleep and exhaustion. One would wonder how long he could remain in this state before killing over.
