"That's .. er.. very nice of him." Rince replied politely. "I really hope I will never have to meet him in person." he thought. "Which probably mean I will. Sooner or later." he added a second thought followed by a third one; "This is going to be a pain."
Realizing that self pity wouldn't help him much he gave himself a mental punch and concentrated his attention on the instant task.
No weapons or supplies, did that mean just food supplies or other stuff as well? He wondered if they would even be allowed to wear coats but it was better not to ask. As long as it wasn't officially forbidden Rince would just take it as allowed.
Next point... no other people on the island...
No! Wait! That didn't have to be true at all.
Rince knew that there were some cases in which pirates were hiding them self on this island, so there could be someone around. Not that they could expect something like help from them, they where rather an other factor to mind.
And then there were the boxes as an other uncertain factor.
"Unknown factors won't help you at all." he scolded himself. "Try to collect what you DO know."
The island was mostly ice, rock and even more ice. There wasn't much flora except from some Lichen clings and if he wasn't wrong stunted pine trees on the northernmost edges of the island.
There would be fish for sure. And what could there be too?
"Ah, yes! Penguins!" he remembered when his gaze felt upon the penguin sitting on Lavitz shoulder.
It was a penguin with an extreme big mouth or to speak the true.. it was a big mouth attached on a penguin with cat-ears.
Nightmarish thoughts went up his mind but he blocked them out. Better not to think to much about it.
But there was still something left he had to know.
Shyly he raised his hand. "Eto.. uhm.. could I ask something?" Rince asked nervously. "I don't want to invade your privacy but I think it would be important to know. The special talent made me think of it as pretty possible, but could it be that some of you are devil fruit users?" he asked them.
"You see, I am and well.. I can't swim. Just thought you should know. There are a lot of people who like to throw people in the water for a joke-" he gave the Lieutenant woman Marina a quick glance, "and that would turn out pretty bad for me."
