'Are they after me Lufe?'
'Can't tell, here's to them just wanting a bite to eat.'
'Hey! Be serious about this..'
'Don't worry, I got 'ya. Go inside.'
'No, it's my problem too.' York said with a childish hiss and whisper as if being quiet would stop the pirates from noticing them. He casually walked to the side of the ship, taking out each weapon in turn and checking them thoroughly as the vessel approached, letting out a large sigh as he could feel the oh so confident warrior half hidden beside him. 'Would be wiser if you hide, maybe then I won't have to gun down another perfectly good ship.' He felt a nudge smack his waist, another protest against his pleas for him to not have to put any more effort into today than he already has. York turned to Filiya, realising she too was getting ready to fight, she saw from the looks she received earlier that the girl wasn't fond of being called little let alone young. 'Probably nothing, I mean if you don't recognise the flag then there's nothing to worry about right?' She slid down Rauth's side, hugging her legs and she sunk her face into her knees. 'Stupid me, being hunted and causing people trouble.' This time it was her who received the thud of a metal heel, looking up to she Rauth shaking his head. 'Maybe you could put it to good use if things go bad, not gunna be much use down there though...' It wasn't exactly the greatest lines of confidence but this was Rauth we were talking about, the guy would rather just sleep than fight back. 'Okay...' She stood back up, side-stepping slowly away from Rauth's complete body shield and shoving her fingers into the small pockets on her shorts while she tried to look at casual as possible about the giant ship heading right towards them. It seemed otherwise unaware of their presence. Rauth couldn't hear any yelling or roars of enthusiasm to capture or attack like some larger crews of weaklings would do, but the ship eventually came in line with there's, easily able to dock or dock them from the position they were in.
'Cog pirates..' York turned in suprise to Rauth's sudden realisation, looking back up to the flag and realising its design. 'Are you just guessing or..?' He may as well be, three large cog like shapes occupied the one eye, and corners of the large bearded and hatted skull. To simply say whatever he sees on the flag seemed like a poor attempt at sounding knowledgeable. 'Seen these guys work before, Man and his men type crew.' Rauth had a classification for every kind of crew in the blues and beyond. To instantly know of their threat and skill he would only need to refer to a few simple attributes of the vessel and its sailors to brand it and know exactly what to do with them. Amongst the many kinds Rauth knew from papers and collected information about this specific crew that is was a Man and his men: A Captain who pulled in every sorry underling just for an extras hand who could fire a weapon, with two higher classed hands of sorts at his side, he called the shots and no one opposed him. 'Crisis averted ladies, these guys won't be a problem.' The ship seemed huge, but it was fitting seeing as the half giant of a man plump and mechanical came to the edge of his ship to look down on Rauth's much smaller one as his shadow nearly consumed the light from the area around them. The man was every kind of monster you could think of, fat and hobbling with a cog powered arm and peg leg and a spinning eye which made cracking noises at every full circle, more chins than you could think of and nothing more than a sweat ridden shirt and a captains jacket to cover his horrible looking body. Not to mention the first three words that came out of his mouth carried a fountain of spit as he clung onto a cigar in the side of his mouth.
'Fancy seein' you!' the grizzled blubber voice said slowly as he leaned forward to get a closer look. 'I 'ardly recognise 'ya 'wif that mechanical arm 'o 'urs!' A spit sprinkler followed his laugh, his entire body shaking from the action as Rauth simply stood with his eyes barely peeking past the tip of his hat. 'Nice to see you too Captain..' He would rather pretend pleasantries and leave, save this thing consuming thin air as he spoke for much longer. 'Word is that 'ya 'gut a weapon which 'ur takin' across the blues! Or 'iz me little rats tellin' lies again..?' York coiled from her previous look of enthusiasm, hiding back behind Rauth as he shook his head. 'Just trying to get from one place to another, quietly..' The man took notice to Rauth's two female accomplices as York hid behind him, his mouth flapping as if he was eating as he peered back and forth with a leant forward one eye glance. 'Got 'urself some company for the lonely ride too ah!? Look like a rather interestin' two little ladies, Bahahaha!'
'Lufe... We 'gotta go.'
'Pretty sure I told you not to worry.'
'Lufe..'
'York..'
She was silenced by the sarcastic repeat of calling out eachother's names, Rauth looking back up to the man as he had rested his little arms on his giant stomach. 'How'z about I take 'em off 'ur hands eh? Let 'ya be on 'ur way.' Rauth sighed, looking back to Filiya with a gesture to stay put, as if patting this air. He knew she would want to contest this, obviously, but it wasn't a completely out of hand situation just yet. 'How about we split this even, and like pirates.' He didn't want to do this, not in the slightest. But York was too valuable to just laze through this threat. 'Callin' 'yaself a pirate now huh!? With a ship like that? I suppose these 'wee girls are your crew too huh!?' The laugh seemed to spread throughout their ship, even though Rauth could only see a few stupid looking pirates around and behind the captain. 'A Davy back fight.' The laughing ceased on the other ship, York gasping and pushing Rauth back and forth as his face remained perfectly lazy and cold. 'Bless 'ma mechanical bit'z! I ain't 'ad one of those in a long time!' He seemed content with the idea, which put Rauth at ease for some reason. 'Two fights, your Co-Captains against two members of my crew of my choice.' He had to roll with the idea, and sadly drag a certain someone into this. 'Me and my Doctor here can fight them, loser changes sides.' The laugh from the other ship silenced, the man had raised a hand to cease it while he pondered. 'Come aboard lad! This should be a nice afternoon brawl!' The crew cheered, Rauth sighing with relief as the man wandered off, not even questioning as to how Rauth knew he had two Co-Captains on his crew... Just went to show how idiotic the large man was. 'Sorry about this, but I can't let York be in danger here.' He shrugged, placing one foot on the boarding plank just as it hit their ship, walking up with York shuffling along behind him as they boarded the gigantic ship.
The place may as well have been an arena in itself, what with the space to allow the giant crew to circle it and still leave two of his ships in the center. 'I want the little girl with the big glasses to fight first!' The fat man, not sitting on a throne made of bent and misshapen metal barked as women in chains sat around him offering him foods and drinks. Rauth looked over to Filiya, pressing his hands together as a passive plea to go along with it, they didn't seem that great after all. He wasn't sure how they were going to pull it off though, this whole mess up of the fight before had left them a little worn out, but this wasn't the Rauth he should be in this situation. 'He'll be some strange looking thing, just suit up however you need and he should be easy pickings... Or else you two will basically become one of them. ' He gestured to the girls by the large mans chair far down the ship, ruffling York's hair as she was almost trembling. 'Don't worry about it, Goggles will do fine.' He took the revolver from his side, aiming it to the sky as the large man lifted his own arm, a flint lock attached to the end along with a sword as both bullets soared into the air. Rauth taking a few steps to the side as he awaiting whatever strange man came out of the doors beside Captain Cog.
'Good luck Goggles... And uh, sorry again.'
