Darkness was pushed away as light flickered in, then his eyes fully opened. Violin's breathing was labored and he felt as though his body had been drained of its essential life force but he was still alive somehow. His eyes drifted slowly to look around him, vaguely aware that he was on the ground, having slumped over in his unconscious state, and could hear the sounds of explosions in the distance. He wasn't sure what was going on at first but the connection between bombs and Trumpet came to mind eventually. Dragging himself forward, he started to make his way slowly. He had to get back... And warn the others.

It seemed that his partner didn't have any ideas as to how to escape their current situation. When he asked for Cells advice, the robot did a very human like gesture and shrugged his shoulder despite Zato's inability to see the movement. "I am not sure what is the best method to use to get out of this predicament," Cell replied, his voice sounding strained. He knew that any moment now they would be in peril again and though it was best to act fast, they had to also act smartly.
"My suggestion is that we team up and fire upon him when given the chance. We might be able to overwhelm his armor and take him out that way," Cell finally suggested after a moment of analyzing. The problem was that during the time that he had taken to come up with a strategy, Trumpet had already collected himself. Standing upright despite looking slightly ill, the man pulled out two bombs shaped like fruit; pineapples to be exact.
One of them was thrown into the air while the other was rolled toward them. This time Cell was more prepared to handle the situation. He literally decided to take evasive maneuvers and just avoid the explosion altogether. If Zato wasn't yet following, Cell would grab his arm and help him to run out of harms way and around a corner to avoid the blast. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed that Trumpet had toppled over and was now laying on the ground dangerously close to where the bombs were at.
After rounding the corner with Zato, the robot sprouted his wings again and took off, grabbing the large darker skinned man who was bleeding out on the ground by his thick arms with both of his hands and hoisting him up a little and dragging him on his knees. The bombs detonated behind them and sent Cell and the larger man flying forward. They skidded across the ground after flying for a ways through the air and came to a stop some distance away.
The screen that showed Cell the world around him flickered for a moment and turned into static. The robot powered down and the lights went out of his eyes before he slumped forward, arms spread out in front of him. Trumpet, already unconscious, simply remained in that state. The two of them were otherwise unharmed having escaped the full brunt of the explosion by riding the waves it had created.

"Oh, deary me," exclaimed an older lady, a very nearsighted one, that had been passing by when she had heard the commotion coming from an alleyway. Normally this area was free of a lot of passerbys but she had been taking a scenic route today as usual. She hurried over on her short little legs, squinted her eyes, and saw a couple of people that were collapsed upon the ground. Sh e was too nearsighted to see Zato yet. "My, my, what happened here!"
(I'll have him power back up in the next round! If you want to have Violin escape I think that'd be the best for the plot! For now this little old lady will be our helper and help get us fixed up a bit before we take on the big bad wolf. )
