A solitary ship rested in the western sea outside of Raito Island, not too far from the harbor of the island's second smallest village, Left Village. The surface of the vessel was rife with surface damage, its worn appearance most likely contributed to the notorious rowdiness of the men on board. Those men acted under the banner that made the rather unimpressive looking ship a rising threat. Upon the black sail was the emblem of the Blackeye Pirates: a skull with a single blackened eye and two lengths of thick chains behind its intimidating face. However, the Jolly Roger represented the reign of a dead man. The skull did not belong to the shadow at the head of the ship, but he led the pirate crew composed of common thugs all-the-same.
“Blackeye” Bragger, captain of the Blackeye Pirates, stood at the front of his vessel. The betrayer had not usurped the title of “captain” through any honorable means, but his men didn't know that. Even if they did, they may not have cared. The original leader of the Blackeye Pirates, Captain Blackeye, had lost his life in the northern sea. The brute of a man had not lost his life to Bragger's hands, but his former vice-captain played a significant role. The dinged-up bat his former captain had used to take so many lives rested on Bragger's back, tobacco staining his malicious smile. His wolf-like eyes gazed upon Left Village, one of them bruised in the same way his captain's had been. Bragger spat a wad of dark liquid onto the deck before turning to the younger man standing only a few paces behind him.
This man was the new vice-captain of the Blackeye Pirates: Zane Bando. After defeating one of their Marine pursuers and his brother, Dice Bando, Zane was a likely candidate to stand at Bragger's side as they continued their chaotic path through the sea. The older Bando brother's appearance had changed in the past months, most notably his longer hair that nearly reached his shoulders now. The raven-haired rumbler held an air of excitement, a more innocent smile plastered across his face than that of his captain's. Zane was simply waiting for the action to begin.
“So Left Village, huh Captain?” Zane asked, apparently having some doubts about his captain's approach. “Wouldn't it just be easier starting with one of the less-populated villages?”
Bragger gave a bit of a chuckle, not minding his young vice-captain's question. “Left Village is the only one of 'em where pirates can dock without any trouble. We can pretty much stroll in there and raid the place without attracting a lot of attention. Just the usual commotion of West Island.” The tobacco-stained smile persisted, Bragger spitting once again. “And then? We'll go into the jungle and take that treasure. Maybe burn the island for the hell of it!” Bragger gave a hoarse laugh, patting Zane on the shoulder before walking toward the raucous festivities of his ragtag pirate crew.
“Guess that makes sense...” Zane muttered, a bit of red coming to his cheeks upon being proven wrong so easily. However, there was little time for embarrassment. Another presence on the sea had caught the attention of the young vice-captain. They were not alone in the surrounding waters of Raito Island. Not far away was an approaching ship flying the distinguishable emblem of the Marines. “Captain? Looks like we got company.”
On the Marine warship, soldiers were scrambling for their arms as a conflict seemed imminent given what flag the ship was flying. A solitary marine stood at the front of the ship with arms crossed, his flowing coat emblazoned with the symbol of Justice.
“Commander!” The leading officer snapped out of his hard stare for a moment, turning to his saluting subordinate and giving a nod for him to continue.
“We can confirm that 'Blackeye' Bragger, captain of the Blackeye Pirates with a bounty of 11,000,000 beri, and Zane Bando, first mate of the Blackeye Pirates, with a bounty of 8,000,000 beri, are both present on the ship!”
“Very well. Prepare for combat, men! I want Bragger and Bando alive. We'll bring these scum in today!”
A roar of approval was met with the commander's words. The two ships neared each other, cannon fire ringing across the shores of Raito Island as the naval battle began. Neither vessel were able to strike decisive blows with their long-range tactics, plumes of water erupting around both ships. Bragger had given his men a similar order, who had already armed themselves with the random armaments customary of the pirate crew that behaved more like a gang than anything. Soon enough the Marine vessel was close enough to board, and the real battle would begin.
“Alright boys, time for a little fun. Kill 'em all!” And with that, the bloodthirsty gang of criminals and killers leaped charged forward with a bowl, gunshots and the clang of metal clashing filling the air. Bragger and Zane were not far behind them, leaping into the heat of the battle.

(Okay so, I think you know what to do, Taro. Moshi, feel free to make a post since I'm sure this whole thing would attract some attention. We'll be on Raito Island with Jude in a couple rounds. Feel free to control whatever Marine/Blackeye lackeys you want to.)
