[OOC Blah: The other post seemed a bit boring and uneventful, so I figured I'd change things up a little bit and jump into things more. If anyone wants to jump in on this whether it be Pirate, Bounty hunter, Marine, or whatever just hop in and we'll see where things go. If you have any questions about a motivation, PM me... I can think of a few places to take things from here.]

It was early morning in Maethen City; probably around seven or so... the sun had just risen and was beaming a glorifying light over the city and sea below. The town had a special kind of glow to it at this hour, as if everything you could see was pristine and new all over again from the day before... it almost seemed magical. This particular morning however, was not going all too well for the local Marines.
Aityaia had long since been a home to the Marines, since the Island was wrested from control by its original nobles hundreds of years ago. Aityaia was one of the westernmost islands in the South Blue, not far from the Red Line or in other terms the entrance to the Grand Line. Despite all this, the Marine post didn’t garner as much fame as other such ports like Rogue town. Most Pirates avoided the port, if not for the Marines then simply for the mob like Agustus family who ran the island. The Casinos were famous for bleeding pirate crews of their entire fortunes and then turning them over to the Marines when they couldn’t pay their debts.
Since trouble was so scarce, the Marine base was often more like a country club than the training grounds it was intended to be. Finally, you had Captain De’Avris; a deplorable man who seemed to have no traces of honor or self-control. He was a hedonistic piece of shit, always throwing his weight around and belittling the locals. It didn’t help that he had the Agustus family catering his every need both… sending women into his barracks regularly and lavishing him with gifts and banquets. Something had to be done about this monster; he was number one on the hit list.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smoke was billowing from the second floor of the Marine Barracks, and panicked Marines were flooding out half dressed. It hadn’t been long ago that the explosion went off, shattering the peaceful serenity of the early hours. Luckily most of the force had already been out for early exercises and first shift breakfast… but the grunts were never the target anyway. Eijimaru swept back his chocolate brown hair with a quick motion, fitting the pristine white ‘Marines’ cap onto his head. His hands quickly drawing the blue neck tie around the collar of his shirt and pulling it into a loose knot. It wasn’t perfect, but it should be good enough.
He gave a soft sigh, as he pushed the unconscious and now nearly nude Marine back behind a series of barrels. A Marine uniform didn’t offer him much in the ways of concealing weapons, a few throwing knives maybe… but otherwise all he had was the standard issue Marine saber at his waist. Still… he didn’t need much more; with a bit of Deadly Nightshade in the Captain’s breakfast his greatest hurdle would be eliminated. A slight smirk took his face as he pulled down the brim of his cap a bit, slipping himself into the crowd of gawking marines and slowly inside the barracks. He didn’t have much time to move before they figured out what happened…
