The ship rocked back and forth on the East Blue open seas. A blonde haired man of about 18 years sat on the deck. His eyes were closed, and legs crossed, as he meditated and chewed on a piece of twine, with two cases of sharpened katanas resting in front of him. Raisamu Hawkins was his name, and the way of the samurai was his game. His senses told him that the ship was approaching an island. Well, that wasn't fast. Only took 1 day to get here. Raisamu was a vivid thinker, as he did little speaking. The only thing that usually provoked him to speak was ignorance, as it would need to be corrected in some way.
The samurai opened his eyes, and moved his long blonde hair away from his face. He got up lazily and mumbled to himself very quietly "What a drag this is going to be." But I need to search for a crew...in order to get back to Wano. He slipped on his overcoat, so that it draped over his shoulders and fluttered with the breeze from the seas. Next, he grabbed his two cases of swords, six in each, and proceeded to strap them across his back, using a roll of "CAUTION" navy tape. Raisamu adjusted the twine in his mouth, and with that, he looked up to see what the ship was approaching.
An island loomed in the distance. Of course, Raisamu didn't know what island, he knew nothing about East Blue. As a matter of fact, he knew nothing of the blues at all. He wasn't used to the quiet and peaceful noises of these seas, as he had grown up in the New World, more specifically, Wano Country, where the sound of swords clashing could be heard almost every minute. That was the reason that Raisamu's father had moved the family to the blues. "The Living Weapon" was ready to settle down, but the New World was no place to raise a family. In the 7 month journey from the New World to the Blues, what Raisamu now calls to himself the "Journey To The Blues", the blonde swordsman's father had been fatally wounded, ending his life. He left Raisamu to be in charge of the family, but not before making sure he was set to defend and take care of them. During the journey, Raisamu was able to sharpen not only his swords, but his skill in the art of the samurai, all thanks to the help of his father.
The island loomed ahead, and the keen-eyed warrior stared at it, until the ship finally touched the sand. He lowered the anchor and hopped off the ship. As he landed and began to get closer to the woods, he could feel something dangerous in the air, almost sickly. It was almost as if his "CAUTION" tape was tightening around him, making sure he got the message that this island was dangerous, and he should turn back now. But no, this is the first step into gaining myself a crew. I can't wuss out now. I'm a samurai after all, what could be so dangerous as to scare me away?
And with that, Raisamu plunged into the forestry, leaving his ship and the sands of the shore behind.
