After the intense events on Cylantrolle Island it was no wonder that Kane was literally passed out on his bed below deck. The entire crew probably was. It wasn't like they had a Navigator either to lead the Shooting Star in the proper direction so they were drifting softly into the night. Kane was also drifting around in his dreams, bouncing around from one thought to the next.
At first he dreamt about the events on the Island, remembering in particular what had happened last. But then that blended into a mishmash of nonsensical images and thoughts. He just knew he had been thanked by someone at the end.
Things started to make even less sense when his dreams brought him back in time. Back to a time he wasn't quite as happy as he was now. Not that he hadn't tried. Back when he had been part of Mad Jack's crew.
His dreams turned from peaceful, deep sleep ones into slightly nightmarish.
A picture of a boat sailing behind the Shooting Star in the middle of the night flashed momentarily and then disappeared.
And that was when Kane woke up. His blue eyes blinked slightly as the light struck them. He turned in his covers and saw that the light was coming from the windows. Since it was so strong, he could only assume that now it was the middle of the day or early afternoon.
How long exactly had he been asleep?
As he went above deck, tugging on a jacket and letting out a big yawn as he went, he spotted something up ahead that immediately made any remenents of that dream world vanish in a blink of an eye. Up ahead, was a massive mountainous structure and the ocean water was literally going up the side of that mountain The only thing like this in East Blue that he knew of was Reverse Mountain.
But that wasn't the only thing.
They were being pulled into the current. And at a rabid rate of speed.
Kane's eyes bulged in realization. The rocks all around them were large and deadly looking. If they didn't do something quickly then they were going to hit them and be reduced to shreds!
"G-Guys! GUYS GET THE HELL UP HERE!" he shouted below deck before he rushed to the helm and began to stir. He barely managed to get the Shooting Star turned to the right and miss a large rock by a fraction of an inch. But the Ocean spray and the newly started rocking of the boat made it hard for him to see where he was going and where the currents were. He needed someone to come and help him!
