We last left the Hard-Hats in their fumbling escape from the Marine infested Shell island. After Taro's plan was placed into action things went for the worse as actions stemmed into all out conflict as the crew fought for their lives against the giant marine onslaught. Escaping after World Government attention, specialist encounters and surfing a tower, the Hard-Hats were left with a pile of wood which was once their boat, as Torin used his newest invention: The Pressure cannon. After a night of wind and rain the already destroyed boat is left looking in more of a wreck then when they left, and the storm in its calming phase has left the crew and their boat remains in the middle of the ocean, as the remnants of the oceans wrath send warm rain at brisk winds the Hard-Hats ship lays bobbing in survival. As the next obstacle for Torin and his crew unfolds.

Torin tumbled and turned in his sleep as the warm haze of rain pattered against the ship in a looming noise which settled over the sharp winds. Rolling onto his side he pressed the pieces of wood already laying in his skin deeper as the pain jolted Torin's conscious to attention, as he launched to a sitting up position. A quick glance in the less action packed situation than before brought Torin to realize over the obvious that the ship had been almost dismantled by the Cannons. Clutching to his arm as he rose he took a quick survey of the ships surroundings, it didn't take long, it was just blue in every direction. The storm had luckily calmed, or at least for now, as the waves provided a annoying wobble rather than any real threat. Torin was relieved to find that from looking around the ship itself, that his room was barely scratched, or at least in comparison to the rest of the ship.
They must have been out cold for at least a few days from their injuries, and here was Torin thinking before that he had escaped without any harm for once, he chuckled to himself as he hung his body over the side of the boat, trying to get a glance at the small pieces of wood which remained stuck into one side of his face and body from the blast. He had barely recovered from previous injuries, this is all he needed.. Taking the medical supplies to the deck he took a seat at the front of the ship as the front railings had been blasted apart from his cannon, a action which he didn't even want to think about right now. As he took care and focus in removing piece after piece of wood that he could see riddling his face from the faded image of himself in the stirring waters.
Between the hisses and tensing of pain Torin began to think of how barely they escaped that mess, and even as to why so many had came after them in the first place.. He expected the marines at the base to retaliate sure, after what Darius had done. Though Torin couldn't help but ponder over the mass of ships at the dock, and the specialist marines who had arrived unaccounted, and their skills as they fought his crew-mates. Torin paused as he turned to see Darius still in a small crumpled heap in his dented landing spot. He didn't have the focus to know if he was alive or not, but he wouldn't be able to help them with the state he was in right now. Torin didn't expect things to get so serious so fast, with more pirates then there are stars in this day and age he would think it would take a little fame and glory to get them to be chased by hundreds if not thousands of marines and their ships.
He counted his blessings, they were far-far away from what happened there, and at this rate it was only going to get worse if they hung around. Torin needed to get into gear, and this crew needed to get better. In numbers and in each others strength. A situation like that should be laughed through, he smiled as he played out a scene of super-human potential in his crew mates in his mind. As the rain laid a certain aura of peace over the crippled ship, as Torin continued to pick out the very same ships pieces from his body, and began to ponder over their next plan of action.
It was going to have to be a pretty big plan.
