Sheathing the katana after the swift strike Jack felt a hint of hope and satisfaction as droplets of blood dripped onto the ground as he remained crouched momentarily listening to the unenthusiastic sound of pain that the Captain had made,
“Ouch.”
Is this guy even human? Jack began to wonder with a drained expression on his face; the fatigue was setting in and he knew that soon he wouldn’t have any more strength to fight back. A shadow that loomed over him suddenly caught his attention and the young man looked through nest of dreads that covered his face to see a multitude of punches progressing towards him.
“SHI-” was the only noise that Jack managed to make as he quickly brought the sheath in front of him in defense. Blow after blow rained on the scabbard and Jack could feel himself getting pushed backwards through the dirt; his heels dug helplessly into the ground as the Captain’s five ton blows drove him back mercilessly despite his best efforts to block them. Shifting the sheath in various ways Jack managed to parry what he thought was all of the attacks and once the last punch bouced away harmlessly he dropped to his knees. His hands were numb and his breaths were ragged, but a smile still remained on his face as he looked up to the Captain once more; he was proud that he could fight on equal grounds with someone of such high rank. To his dismay, his accomplishment went unnoticed as a large, iron knuckled fist smashed into the left side of his head without any precaution and Jack felt as the world dimmed.
“Dammit…ya got me…” he whispered as the force threatened to rip his feet from the ground, but at that moment the old man’s image flashed in his head forcing him back to his senses.
One more shot he compromised with his body; digging into the ground determinedly the young man expertly rolled his hips away from the man’s fist and leaped onto his hands. In one quick move he drove his left heel into the man’s chin with his one of his strongest moves; the large Captain would lift into the air he was sure of that, but the next part required that he would be able to subdue he Captain while in midair.
"Kôsuijun!"
Without wasting time Jack leaped into the nearest wall and began to mentally calculate the Captain’s projection through the air. He had to time himself so that he would end up behind the captain; or as close to it as possible.
This would be the final act of their struggle and Jack wasn’t going to leave the Captain with the impression that he was just some whimpering villager with a hissy fit; his laziness had been tossed aside as the climactic moment came. Watchful eye waited for the right moment before Jack would spring himself into the air after the Captain. It was at that moment that Jack also realized that his left eye had shut under the crushing force of the Captain’s fist and he wanted to cry out in pain, but he remained focus determinedly waiting for the final moment.
OOC: Hey, Jack just in case you didn't look at my profile. The attack lifts the opponent into the air for one post.
