The Gold Dream Training session in the Dojo

Jay smiled as he saw that his move was easily deflected by Sam. He heard Garuda yelling but it was nothing but white noise to him. He had went into his usual trance, were it was just him and his opponent. Nothing else mattered at that moment “Yea yea whatever, just focus on our opponent in front of us.” he said as he started to take his weights off. He took each bangle off and threw them by the side. Jay figured he was hiding something, because Haseo would not stop bragging about him. He wanted to see what he was capable of, so he had to push Sam a little bit.

“Garuda just get his attention and I will be able to make my move.” he said calmly as he began to unzip his jacket. “I wonder if I can use that style yet.” he thought as he began to walk towards Sam. He flexed his muscles, “Dragon King style of the east blue! Seiryū!” he yelled as he took his fighting stance. This was the stance of his own master. He slid his foot forward and held his hand out like a dragons claw. He wanted to try some things out.

Sam quickly stepped to the side and rotated his body so Garuda's slash would miss. Another swordsmen it seemed. He wouldn't mind a sword fight, he'd be able to show off his sword techniques and his weapons secret abilities. Though, the poisons were very painful if used in concentration. His devil fruit powers were out of the question for now, he had no problem showing them what his was but it was too dangerous to fight with. Not just for their sake but for the ship. He might be inclined to go all out with his blade if these two prooved sufficient enough fighters.

Sam jumped a few paces back so that he was out of Garuda's swinging distance. He then began scratching his glutes while one finger cleaned the inside of his ear. The man was clearly taunting them still, showing them blatantly that it would take more then that to get him started. He was sure that they hadn't gotten serious either.

Just then Jay unequipped his weights. Looks like he was tired of fooling around. Sam figured if they got too out of hand he would reveal to them what his sword could do. For now he'd pretend as if it was just an ordinary steel blade. He rested the sword on his shoulder letting it hang behind him. He wanted to let them come at him, allowing him to observe their movements first.

He gave a sheepish smile and said

"Ladies first!"

Although Garuda was not too happy about the fact Sam dodged his attack so easily, nor about his smug, laid-back approach to this match-up but he was pleased that his opponent had finally taken out his blade. Now this could become a contest between two swordsmen with Jay having to stick around in the back ground. "So much for Jay using me as a decoy..." Garuda thought to himself. He took a band that was tied around his wrist to tie up his bushy black mane into a ponytail so that it wouldn't get in the way. The contest was finally about to begin.

Sam-Wise began easing off again, resting his sword over his shoulder but his taunting was getting on Garuda's nerves. He noticed Jay preparing some techinque behaind him but his attention was lost when he heard Sam call out, "Ladies first!" with a sheepish grin on his face. That was the last straw, nobody calls Garuda a woman and gets away with it. Sam would just hav to learn the hard way. Garuda yelled "THOUSAND BLADES!" and charged in with his sword raised. Moving as swiftly as he can, the swordsman from West Blue began hacking and clawing in Sam's direction with every intent on teaching him a lesson.

Jay quickly noticed that this fight was turning into a sword fight. Yet he refused to back down from this, “Doesn't Matter what you have I am stronger,” he thought as he shifted his stance a bit. He returned to focusing his energy, he really wanted to try this new stance. He has only trained with it and hasn't actually used it in battle. This would be a good test run for it, to see how it was in battle. With his jacket unzipped he only felt fifty pounds on him now. The stance symbolizes a dragon, It was a strong stance used by his master.

Jay had a plan he wanted to make sure Sam felt his power, but he had to get around his sword. This plan would be hard if he was by himself but he had Garuda as a partner who could distract him. With his speed and power he would be able to get around any defenses very easily. With one hand forward he shifted it backward and dashed forward right behind Garuda. Garuda launched his Thousand blade attack and Jay followed up with his move.

He jumped high into the air with his arms crossed and formed his hands into claws. “Seiryu’s Claws!”(Jay forms a claw like hand and slashes. By focusing energy in to the slash the cut is so strong that it can cut through stone and leave gashes in metal. ) he yelled as he descended on his prey like a dragon attacking from above.

Garuda jumped at him and began swinging his sword around like a mad man. He was clearly set off by his remark which was only playful banter. Sam noticed that Jay was beggining to attempt something and that if he got cornered by both of them it would proove to be difficult.

Sam jumped into the air and repeatedly flipped before landing on the other side of the arena. He quickly pivoted to face his opponents. It would be best for him to single one of them out and not take both of them on at once. He was trying his best not to use his ability on them which would turn out to be quite the challenge. No matter, it was good to practice on not relying on his powers. If he ever came into contact with his weakness he would need other ways to defend.

The man tighened his grip on the hilt of his sword. His steely hands tensed as he stared down both Jay and Garuda. The veins bulged on his forearms arms while his biceps tightened. If they both came at him at once he would run towards the direction of one of them keeping his distance from the other. He also couldn't leave his attention on one for long, they were both very strong and leaving one unattended could cause problems.

Garuda lets his frustration be vented through a loud groan from the deep of his throat. His brows are curled in a frown making a 'V' sign where they meet between his eyes. With Sam repeatedly dodging their attacks and running around the dojo, even the most patient of fighters would lose their cool and Garuda was definitely the rash and hasty type but even he had noticed something. Sam was struggling to keep up with both their speeds. If either he or Jay could get through Sam's defences, then there was a chance to land a good strike on him. Now he wasn't too sure about Jay but Garuda knew if he could get a free shot in, he would definitely make it count.

Garuda took a moment to share a glance with his partner who seemed to have had the same idea, or so Garuda hoped. Garuda once again charged in at Sam but this time instead going in for an attack, Garuda suddenly feinted the strike and instead sharply meandered around his opponent with a quick sidestep, moving around Sam in a flash setting up a perfect counter-attack. Now that they were on opposing sides of Sam, he would have to turn his attention to either one or the other allowing one of them with and entry to attack. Garuda suddenly yelled, "Counter Attack!" The handle of his sword that was engloved with Garuda's fists was thrusted towards the lower spine of Samwise, with the attention of knocking him off balance for the very least if not sending him crashing into the wooden floor.

Dean was still there looking at the fight. He was analyzing the moves of the fighters. Some of them were simple but everyone sure was a combat master. A combo of them all would be a deadly blow to anyone who might oppose them. Noticing how the other observer was looking at him he remembered he still was a stranger on this ship and anything bad could happen. "I have to be on guard in case something happens." he thought and moved his guitar bag closer to his lap. Hearing clashing sounds from the other side of the ship he turned around to see a ship closing in and some of the crew going to take care of it "It will be alright" He thought and turned back to the dojo where the fight was becoming more interesting.

Having already made the first moves the team of the two men was attacking the boy who was avoiding the attacks and made counter-strikes against them. Everyone seemed to be at the same level when it comes to melee combat so none had the advantage...unless...someone had a devil fruit. Wouldn't be a surprise, he already saw one of the crewmates having a fruit and wouldn't be surprised if others had one too. Thinking of those things Dean was waiting for the next move in the dojo.

Jay slashed at the ground ripping it up. He was not happy because he could tell Sam was holding back still. Even though Jay was holding his strength back because he was a friend still. He stood back up and began running around Garuda and Sam almost creating a twister. The two were in the mist of the dust storm. Jay wanted to get the jump on Sam from above. Gaurda led with a strong counter attack which should force Sam to leave himself open. “Let see how you like this!! Dancing Shadows!” he yelled as he began to run even faster. His speed was almost at Soru level now. He could only do this for a short time because he was still wearing his jacket. Running faster and faster around the two Sam would not be able to dodge this next time.

There was an issue with his new style, he hasn't quite mastered it yet. So he was hoping Garuda was fast enough to get away from the technique. Jay stops and crouches down crushing the ground beneath him. “Dancing Shadows.” he calmly said as he disappeared completely leaving an after image of himself. He had launched himself high into the air he was curled up into a ball flying through the air. He uncurled in mid air stopping almost completely. “Technique of the Azure Dragon! Seriyu's Breath!” he yelled as he took a large deep breath poking his chest way out. He aimed downwards at Sam and released from his mouth large blue fire ball. “Damn I can't maintain a stream still...” he thought as he was pushed back from the release.

Sam leaned towards Jay's attack as he did not want to damage Garuda's sword by mistake. Just then the ship began to shake from the cannon balls which were thrust at them from the opposing pirates. Sam had no clue what it was but needed an excuse to stop fighting. Both his opponents were strong and could hold their own weight even without a devil fruit. He rolled out of the way of the blue flames which engulfed a large section of the floor. Hopefully Garuda could of dodged it as well.

Sam turned towards then with a large grin.

"Let's end the fight here. Something is happening upstairs and I feel as if this brawl will have nothing good come out of it"

He left without waiting for their response and used his speed to quickly emerge from the depths of the ship onto the deck. There was a large pirate ship standing right near him, but what really startled him was how close they were to Reverse Mountain. The definite outline of it appeared just in the horizon. If they kept sailing at this speed they would be there in no time at all. He could see Morgan on the other ship and assumed Haseo was there also. They would deal with whatever problem had ensued and then they would be on their way.

Sam lept up to his post and layed down watching the great red titan creep closer and closer.

Garuda ignored the fact that there ship might be under attack for a short moment, to glare his eyes at his team-mate. If eye's hadn't already said it all, he made sure to voice his concern as well. "Hey watch where your breathing Hot-Shot, you trying to burn me alive or something? If you can't control your attacks, go train a little more. I'll go see who's making that racket upstairs. I bet Haseo and Morgan went overboard."

Garuda followed up behind Sam to notice an enemy ship stocked up right besides their own. Sam wasn't paying any attention but rather looking towards the horizon. "So he didn't like conflict after all?" Garuda thought to himself. "And here I thought he was trying to get out of a beating at my hands. The poor kid. Anyways lets go sort these intruders out, teach them a lesson or two, the old-school way."

Garuda's eyes fell upon the Jolly Roger the opposing Pirate Crew was carrying. It took him a moment to retrieve the correct information from his memory bank but once he had done so, it was certain. This ship belonged to Neko 'The Flash', a wanted pirate from the East Blue with a bounty of 5,000,000 Beri. Garuda remembered from his previous career as bounty hunter. This crew had three other members with bounties if Garuda remembered correctly:

Hiromek 'The Speedy Ninja' - 4,500,000 Beri
Chance 'The Hell Cook' - 3,000,000 Beri
'Kung-Fu' Gordon - 2,500,000 Beri

Garuda swung across toward the enemy ship, crash landing upon two enemies, taking them down. Before he could actually reign his terror upon them, a flying butcher's knife sped past him, almost cutting his nose off as it dug into the wood besides his head. "F**K!" was all he could blurt out as the blond, middle-aged, psycho-maniac of a cook, dropped his squared jaw and yelled a war cry 'Hell Chop!'. Another butcher's knife was gripped in his left hand. Garuda rolled along the ground, dodging the follow up attack as 'The Hell Cook' tried to make mince meat out of him. He retreived his other knife and made his way toward Garuda once again who suddenly found himself surrounded by four cutlass wielding pirates. He parried all four of the blades in one swipe with the sword of his ancestor, his power pushing them back allowing him to get to his feet.

Immediately upon finding a stance, Chance was onto him in a flash, 'Chop, Dice & Serve!'. His left hand made a hacking action whilst his right tried to chop Garuda's arm off. Through sheer luck and reflex action, Garuda managed to avoid both before pulling his sword out to block a second hack that followed right after. Garuda grunted through gritted teeth as he fought of this wild, blood-thirsty cook.

"We haven't even made it to the Grand Line yet. Troublesome..." Basil calmly walked up to the deck. Sometimes he wished that he approached situations like this like his crewmates, with enthusiasm and energy. Hmm, he must have been losing his edge on that island. The lack of worthy opponents must have sullied his ability and drive. In that case, "Let's hope I can find a good rival this time around." He looked across the water at the enemy ship. He saw Garuda swing across and begin fighting a cleaver wielding manic as well as several lesser crew members, reaching for his pistol as he observed.

If he fired one of his tear rounds, he would be able to move over to the ship without revealing his Devil Fruit Abilities to the opposing crew. However, it might put his own crew at a disadvantage. He decided against it, best to leave the small smoke grenades for later when he was close enough to get Haseo's permission. Instead, a defensive position would be most beneficial to Basil in this case.

He climbed up to the crows nest in a rushed scramble, and ducked into it. He looked through a small gap in the nest to observe the ship and lay his trap. 12 Tongues emerged all along Basil's back and wrapped around several posts on the ship next to the various other ropes on the ship. If all worked correctly, No gorup of pirates would be able to board the ship without being severely thinned in number.

Jay was lost in thought for a moment and heard Garuda's grunts. “What was that? You wanna make something of it?” then the ship shook some more. Both Sam and Garuda were already on there way up the stairs to see what was going on. He quickly ran up the stairs and saw the opposing ships jolly roger flying high. “So some action, good.” he said with a cocky smile on his face. He saw both Sam and Garuda jump over to the enemy ship and begin fighting. “I be damned if I let them have all of the action.” he he thought as he ran up on of the ships mast and launched off of it. “Yahoo!!!” he yelled as he flew through the air at the ship. His jacket blew in the wind while he flew through the air.

He flipped and landed on his feet in a group of the enemy pirates. He crouched down extremely fast to get a surprise attack on the pirates before they could respond. “Maha Tornado!” he performed a low spinning kick that sent the pirates that were surrounding him up into the air. He kept spinning and went into a high spinning kick knocking all of them away into the water. Jay stood there with his leg raised high as the pirates flew in the sea. “This is it?” he said while he stood there. Then he heard a slight noise “What the!?” he said as he dodged to the side because a fist went past him smashing into the wall behind him.

He flipped to the side and looked up to see his attacker. It was a rather bulky man that wore gi pants with a black belt. “Who the hell are you?” Jay said as he stood up and examined the man further.
“I am the strongest martial artist of the all the blues! I am Kung Fu Gordon!” he said as he took the stance of the crane. “Your a joke. I will be the strongest marital artist in the World!” Jay said. He clenched his fist and took his stance. “AHAHHAHA! What is this child's play!? You a mere kid could never beat me with that nonsense. Let me show you what marital arts is.” Gordon explained as he dashed forward with a attack. “Crane Strike!” the strike was aimed straight at Jay's throat with deadly accuracy. Jay said nothing, he moved his hand forward and cross blocked the strike with the palm of his hand.

Gordon was knocked off balance by the block , Jay followed up with a open palm strike to Gordon's chest. The he only used a fraction of his strength but it was enough to imapct Gordon to knock him back a few steps. Jay did not say anything for some reason he was very serious this time around. “How dare you! I am the Great Gordon! You will Die! Crane Kick!” He yelled as he jumped into the air and descended on Jay.

“.....You call yourself a marital artist, you talk to much.” Jay said as he kicked high into the air to deflect Gordon's attack. The kicks collided, Jay looked up at Gordon “What is this!?” he said loudly.

Jay coldly said “This is the Dragon King Styles of the blues you will never win."

Dean watched behind as everyone ran towards the enemy ship. He stood up hanging his guitar box from his box and drew his miniguns from his waist and started spinning them around his fingers "Now, it's fun time". Saying that he ran to the edge of the ship. Enemy pirates were running and were trying to board the ship. Dean pointed his guns at them and yelled to his allies "Guys! You might have to duck" saying that he yelled "Metal Rain!" and started shooting big numbers of bullets towards the enemies hitting everything he could see.

When he stopped the shooting he peered around his target area. Pirates were all over the floor and everything was ruined from bullets. He grinned and quickly reloaded as a small object flew past him and got stuck at a crate behind him. Dean quickly aimed his guns at the place the star came from just to notice a shadow form running around the masts and finally getting to their ship. Dean shot a few bullets at him but was unable to hit him, he was too fast. Finally the enemy showed himself when he jumped in front of Dean. He was a slim man in a black ninja outfit. Dean grinned and said "So, I have to play with small ninjas now?"

The ninjas got in an offensive position holding small stars in his hands "I am Hiromek! A speedy ninja they call me because I am fastest than everyone! Even the light! Now prepare to die!" By saying that he yelled "Starry sky!" at least twenty stars flew towards Dean. Quickly, Dean ran to the nearby crate and stayed behind it until he felt the last star hitting the ground. After that he stood up aiming his guns at where the ninja was before but...he was gone. Turning around he heard the ninja yelling "Light kick!" And his leg made Dean fly to a barrel at the back dropping his guns.

"Time to get serious" Dean thought and he brought his guitar box in front of him. The ninja looked at him and burst in laughter "What will you do? Play music and make me deaf?" Dean stayed serious and opened the box drawing a big sword from inside "Let's dance to the music then! Charge!" He yelled and ran towards the opponent trying to kick him down. The ninja avoided the tackle and drew a katana from his back. Dean quickly rolled to the back and held the sword in front of him. Grinning he ran to the ninja and started swinging his sword aiming for vital spots. All the ninja could do was to defend himself from the blows. As the fight continued Dean kept fighting with the ninja face to face..

Sam watched passively as everyone else fought against the intruders. He was now able to see all their abilities in action. This was only a small delight he was able to partake in because there was a much large issue which had to be dealt with. Reverse mountains was almost upon them now and the weather had changed dramatically. The skies had darkened revealing a heavy downpour of rain. Both ships were now rocking violently and whirpools were emerging from the ocean. Lightning struck the sky lighting up their surroundings.

Sam jumped down from his perch and took hold of the wheel. This wasn't his job but seeing as everyone was busy fighting off the pirates, it was up to him to take charge of the ship. It was very difficult to steer in the right direction, especially with the wind blowing in against them. Water splashed onto the deck and at this rate the boat would flood. Waves came crashing in on them which more then a couple of times almost tipped them overboard. He just had to make it into the narrow passage up ahead and they'd make it over to the grand line.

The sea grew ever more furious and Sam had to begin freezing waves before they crashed into the ship. Once they were frozen the waves became quite useful - acting as barricades from the wind, rain and anything else that came their way.

While Sam was doing this though, the boat steered out of control and they were heading right for a whirpool. The wheel was spinning out of control and the ship almost turned on it's side which thew Sam to the edge.

"Damn this storm! I wont die here!"

Sam said now agitated. He leaped over to the wheel and hung from it because of the angle the ship had turned. It had almost cap sized and he'd have to freeze the waters surface to save him and the other devil fruit users from drowning - if it got to that. Right now he needed someone to take the wheel while he pushed the ship back in its rightful position...

As the rain grew harder and harder, Basil found his first victims. It was a small boarding, diminished to six thanks to the strangers efforts crew of 6, and considering Basil and Samwise, along with the stranger for a brief moment, it would be 2 to a person for the fight on board. Granted, that would mean they would have to remain on board. From the safety of the crow's nest, Basil unleashed his trap upon the boarding crew. "Tongue Tongue Garrotte!"

The twelve tongues he had set up prior to appear as ropes along the ship immediately sprang to life, each tongue grabbing a crew member, each member being held by two tongues. The lesser crew members simply stood in shock at what was happening and then a supreme disgust after some of them realized what the 'ropes' actually were. Basil sharply reeled in the tongues such that each attacking crew member was hung beneath the crows nest while struggling around fruitlessly. At this point, the whirlpool had appeared and began pulling the ship in, tilting it slightly. Basil wasn't especially frightened of drowning but he would rather not be distracted by these attackers while the ship was in such immediate peril.

"Tongue Tongue Lash Pin!" Basil spun around in the crows nest, bringing each pirate up to his level. He slowed down slightly, bringing all pirates crashing together, and then grabbed hold of all the tongues he was using and catapaulted each pirate away from the ship and whirlpool at the same time. He watched as each pirate landed a safe distance away from the ship and whirlpool, making sure they were okay; Basil only killed criminals in serious cases of self-defense.

As the ship continued to lean, Basil saw Sam struggling with the helm of the ship. John was on the other ship at the moment and he was the one who would know exactly what to do. He clambered out of the crow's nest and slid down the mast rather speedily and ran without obstruction considering the weather and angle of the ship, to Sam and the helm. He glanced around the deck for a moment before running up to the side of the ship and jumping over, grabbing the rail and hanging off the edge, facing the helm. As he held on, all twelve of his tongues re-emerged, wrapping around the ships railing before grabbing hold of the wheel to keep it from rotating any further. "There, that should hold it!"
