The new lead that Sylas had uncovered would take him off Bupae Island, a place he was all too eager to leave. It was rundown and everything about the island had a dirty tint of corruption that he'd prefer to steer clear of. After taking care of his business on the island and acquiring the information that he needed, it was finally time to move on to his next goal that would bring him one step closer to locating Bishop, or so he hoped.
All of his belongings were packed and stowed away in the shady hotel room he had been staying at, just waiting to be picked up and the room to be officially checked out of. He had booked a few extra days just in case his tasks on Bupae Island took longer than anticipated, and was currently at the dock to buy his ticket out of there aboard a ship ahead of time.
There was a longer queue than he expected there to be, as he couldn't for the life of him understand why anyone would willing come to this island for anything other than business. Thankfully, his lead wasn't going anywhere, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if he has to wait hours in this line, although tedious as it was. His jacket on, the two additional sleeves handsewn onto the garment to cater for his extra pair of arms, Sylas stood patiently in the line of people, minding his own business.
Most of his attention was on a little brown book that he held which features a series of maps along Hawk Route. He was studying routes and passages, and as he turned the pages to get to a hand-drawn map of Bupae, it was easy for him to spot the general area where he was currently standing in the Port.
At last, the queue moved forward and Sylas took a step.
Flipping through the pages once more, he stopped on a list of noteworthy landmarks on this island. His hotel was obviously on the list, as well as this port, among other smaller and perhaps less important places, such as restaurants and market stops. Studying maps was how he was able to get by so easily in new locations, some of which were found and others were drawn by himself as he made his way around unfamiliar places.
The queue moved forward again and Sylas took another step with a little sigh as he raised his gaze from his book.
