}Personality
Seething Supernova
Inside of Renata is a burning anger that she cannot contain. Perhaps it is her natural disposition, or perhaps it is her striking back at a world that did not want her. Whatever the reason, Renata has a lot of rage inside of her. Sometimes, she lashes out at others without meaning to. Other times, she’ll bottle up her anger and seethe quietly, forging it like a weapon. Most often though, Renata expresses her fury in more constructive ways, whether that be breaking or building things.
It’s Rocket Science
Renata has always been an extremely inventive person. She puts all the pieces together in unconventional ways. Spending most of her time in her workshop, Renata always has something new in the works, whether it be a new project or a devious plot. She prefers to be meticulous about things and plan well in advance for things to be in her favor. Her unconventional way of thinking often allows her to come up with fairly off the wall ideas.
Resolute Raider
Once Renata gets something into her head, she will not be swayed from her path. One one hand, Renata keeps up at things long after others would have given up and absolutely refuses to yield under pressure. On the other hand, she can also be bullheaded and stubborn to the point of rejecting what’s right in front of her eyes. She believes that no matter what, seeing things through and hard work will yield results. There’s always a solution.
Cosmic Cunning
Renata knows how to turn things around in her favor. She doesn’t exactly care to stay on the right side of the law, so she’s acquired lots of skills to get into places that she’s not supposed to be and get away with things that she’s not supposed to. She’s a good liar when she needs to be and is able to call others on their own lies. It’s hard to fool Renata, and even harder to corner her.
Meteoric Rise
Supremely confident in who she is and what she wants, Renata is the first to dive headfirst into action. When she sees something she wants, she’ll stop at nothing to get it. Sometimes overconfident, she can charge into situations without fully understanding the risks. In these cases, she relies on her own ingenuity to get her out of it. Her conviction can buoy others in a storm. Her ambitions stretch far and wide beyond where she is in life, and with her confidence and cunning, she can take calculated risks to get herself there. This does mean that she often takes on the burden alone even when she has teammates to help her.
Appearance
Renata is a fierce looking woman with rather angular features that make her appear sharp. She stands at a staggering 8’7” (262 cm) tall, carrying herself with confidence. Her piercing aquiline eyes are a bright yellow. Long scarlet hair tumbles down her back in long waves. Two small wings sprout from her back, brilliantly colored like a scarlet macaw’s wings in red, blue, and yellow. Her complexion is pale, almost as white as snow. She’s extremely muscular with an hourglass body shape.
Renata typically wears skin tight jumpsuits that are dark in coloration. On top of it, she generally wears some kind of jacket from a leather jacket to a captain’s jacket. She wears combat boots for extra grip, stability, and protection of her feet while working on the ship or in the workshop. Renata sometimes ties her long hair back into a ponytail to keep it out of her face while working. At times, she’ll also wear gloves for protection when working with heavy machinery.

Oxygen Efficiency
Racial Trait
Stamina
Born in high altitudes, Renata’s body is naturally acclimatized to thinner air and less oxygen. She can do more with less, able to last longer with a single breath of air than an ordinary person. This gives her incredible stamina both in the sky and down in the Blue Sea below.
Cyber Speed
Racial Trait
Speed
Renata is always on the go. It’s very difficult to keep her pinned down. This restlessness makes her inherently very difficult to keep up with as she flits from place to place. She’s faster than an ordinary person and is very difficult to hit while she’s moving around.
Laser Precision
Racial Trait
Accuracy
From making precise calculations to aiming down the barrel of a gun, Renata is always incredibly accurate. Her work tends to leave little room for error, so Renata has drilled precision into her very bones. She’s much more accurate than an ordinary person, able to hit things from extreme distances with extreme accuracy.

Background
}Born on the perpetual storm cloud island, Vendaval, Renata was the child of the ruler and one of his many consorts. As such, her childhood became a whirlwind of chaos, bloodshed, and survival as she and the children of the other consorts vied for their father’s favor in order to be named heir. Renata did her fair share of misdeeds in an effort to appease her mother and stay alive. Blood was on her hands at such a tender age, but it was kill or be killed.
Things came to a head on her tenth birthday when there was a coordinated attempt on her life by several armed assailants. Renata managed to avoid the initial lethal blow due to an overabundance of caution, but had to flee the palace in the dead of night with assassins hot in pursuit. She ran through the stormy night to the edge of the island, and, rather than be caught, she took her chances by jumping off into the storm below. As she fell, one of her wings was nicked by a poison coated dagger.
The poison took hold almost immediately as she disappeared into the clouds below, rendering her unconscious. Fortunately for Renata, there was a sky ship flying about in the storm, collecting lightning in dials. A young boy spotted her in the storm as she fell, and the crew was about to organize a rescue of the young girl. They managed to catch her and reel her in. The crew doctor tended to her and administered an antidote when he realized what was wrong with her.
Thanks to their efforts, Renata opened her eyes once again. When she awoke, she was more than a little apprehensive, lashing out at her saviors and grabbing the nearest weapon. It took a while for them to calm her down enough to explain that she was safe and had arrived on a new sky island called Eisenwerks. The lightning pirates took her in, treating her as one of their own, and Renata adjusted to this new peaceful lifestyle with the son of the captain and the boy who had spotted her that fateful night, Gael.
Growing up, Renata was a bit of a troublemaker. She’d run off to the sky races held on Eisenwerks, in awe of the mighty machines and their speed. Gael would often accompany her on these adventures, leading them both to get fussed at by the more uptight of their dads, an astronomer named Edwin Kepler - but Renata just called him Old Man. Captain Neil Barbossa, or Pops as Renata called him, was much more easy going and encouraged Renata’s hobbies by building her own workshop where she could experiment and invent all sorts of things that usually blew up in her face.
When she came of age to race, Renata jumped into sky racing. She loved the feeling of the wind in her hair and the sheer speed of the race. Against both Pops’ and Old Man’s advice, she eventually got mixed up with some shady people who offered to sponsor and fund her. It was all going well until they wanted her to throw a race in spectacular fashion to rig the gambling results. She refused, and during the race, an “accident” occurred in which she very nearly lost her life again. Despite both of them being absolutely furious, Kepler had to stop Barbossa from going on a rampage against the blackmarket moguls who arranged it.
Renata was not so restrained, and she knew how to make people disappear from her early years. She snuck out, caught them while their guard was down, and made certain that they would never have the opportunity to cross her again. Once her adopted family found out, they were angry, but only because she could have been hurt again. Renata promised to take a break from sky racing to placate them, spending more and more time in her workshop instead.
The years that followed were filled with adventures with Gael and Pops, and quiet hours in her workshop, inventing new dial based technologies. Due to Eisenwerks’s close proximity to the Blue Sea, materials weren’t terribly difficult to acquire when necessary. When she’d accrued enough wealth for herself to fund both her research and sky racing, Renata returned to the sport in spectacular fashion, winning several tournaments. It took up the vast majority of her time.
So, when, one day, Pops returned home grievously injured by an unknown assailant, Renata blamed herself. She could have been there. She could have done something. Rather than wallow in self-hatred, however, Renata chose to take action. Despite Old Man telling her not to do anything, Renata made plans to steal a small vessel, find the people that did this to Pops, and make them pay.
