Appearance:– The Soot Soot fruit looks like a bunch of black grapes though their surface seems oily and covered with a dark substance
Ability:– The Soot Soot fruit transforms the consumer into a 'Soiled human' (Kegareta Ningen - 汚れた人間) Granting them the power to produce and manipulate Soot and cover surfaces in Soot. Activation of this power causes a layer of the black substance to cling to their skin soiling any clothing or surface they touch
Soot: As the basis of this fruit Soot is defined as Unburned Carbon Particulate.
Logia Intangibility: The user may Become intangible avoiding any physical attack that isn't made with an object constructed with Seastone, or imbued with Haki. this isn't passive and must be actively used.
Carbon Sand: Due to Soot being fine particulate, the generation process can leave it Ionized which means it will adhere to magnetic surfaces, allowing the user to adhere themselves to magnetic surfaces.
Explosive Dust: Due to its nature of being Fine Carbon particulate, Soot is highly combustible and can be used to make explosives on the fly with all that is needed to explode is enough heat or and open flame
Weaknesses:– First and Foremost, upon consuming the fruit the user becomes an 'enemy of the sea.' Submersion of any degree in water both salty and otherwise robs them of their ability to activate their power, weakens their body, and if substantial enough can leave them totally paralyzed and effectively helpless.
Second, the Soot Soot Fruit is innately combustible, and carries a weakness to extreme heat, Flame or other explosive sources getting around their Logia Intangibility
Similarly due to its nature as fine carbon particulate, liquid attacks or attacks made with limbs or weapons coated in liquids will also bypass the Intangibility
Also, while using the Ionized variation the user becomes magnetic and is affected by strong magnetic fields, though this is less of a weakness unless the user is spread across multiple surfaces as the user can just reform and drop the ionized attribute
