Stand Against Injustice! [Lee and Miyuki]

Distractions work wonders. She says pausing, you said you can handle one maybe two? so I just need to get the crowd to hold one while we deal with the other two... and he's gone, well then...

She takes a minute, then smiles to the crowd and speaks up, her voice carrying across them, Alright dear brave men and women of Valdesh! as we approach where the enemy resides, we need to separate the Reznikovs from each other so Mr. Lee can take them on one at a time, as such, we'll need to be brave, but not stupid, focus on surviving! last as long as possible to keep them busy, protect each other! and We'll see the sunrise on a free Valdesh! FOR FREEDOM! she cries out leading the surging crowd through the streets in a with a great cry.

Lee heard the cry go up and turned around, his face blanching at the sight. It wasn't exactly a huge mob, just the folks from the bar and a couple stray citizens they'd picked up along the way. Barely enough for a decent-sized distraction. And now he'd have to face the Reznikovs while also keeping all these people safe.

Speak of the devil: The door burst open, and standing there were the three men in question. The oldest, Fedor, had his fists up in a boxing stance. The middle child, Aleksander, had an oversized claymore that put Lee's Shichishito to shame. The youngest, Ivan, seemed to have grabbed a length of garotte wire. Lee's heart sank as he faced down the men and the daunting prospect of defeating them all.

Some of the townsfolk following Miyuki had grabbed brooms and mops, nothing really more then sticks, but she directs them towards the one standing in a boxing stance.

As she flicks out an elegant fan decorated in a beautiful snowy seascape she looks over to Lee. You can handle the Claymore right sweetie? she calls with a wink as she turns to the one with a garrote wire.

But I do wonder if you can handle me. She says with a somewhat subtle tone as she settles into a stance, looking more like a dancer then a fighter, as she begins to square up, watching him to see what he does.

[Aromancer]

"The claymore's not the problem," Lee remarked, looking at Alecksander and Fedor. "It's the guy with the brass knuckles. Fedor hits like a truck, and with both of them working together..."

Speak of the devil. Aleksander dug his sword into the ground before kicking up a shockwave that carved through the rock and slashed towards Lee. The young bounty hunter managed to block it with the Shichishito, but the sheer gale force of the attack knocked a lot of the rioters off-balance. Fedor used his brother's distraction to rush down the boy, throwing out a fist with the force of a cannonball that Lee only barely managed to dodge.

Meanwhile, Ivan tried to maneuver around to behind Lee. Miyuki was close enough to intercept, however, so he turned to her instead, swinging his garotte wire towards her like a whip aimed for her neck.

Miyuki gracefully leans back dodging the wire with all the grace of well a dancer, her fan snapping closed as she rolls forward only to come up open, a thin blade whispering in the wind as she dives towards Ivan, a smirking smile on her face as the crowd begins to pelt the brothers with stones. No no no, little boy, you're not stepping into that fight, this beautiful mermaid is going to take you to sleep with the fishes. She says with a snicking mocking tone.

Her fan gracefully moving through the air, as she keeps herself between Ivan and his brothers, as she begins to hum, slowly pressing in towards him

Ivan chuckled as Miyuki stood in his way. "Alright girl, but if you're so sure you can take on a Reznikov, you'd better be pretty confident in your combat abilities!" He dashed around her, darting to and fro and leaving a trail of wire everywhere he ran. It wasn't long before she was totally surrounded, and he was yanking the wire closed.

Meanwhile, Lee was in a pitched battle mirroring the one he'd fought all those months ago, himself versus the two older brothers. But this time, he knew their moves ahead of time, and was deftly dodging Fedor's punches and Aleksander's claymore. The problem now was that the force of their attacks was blowing up air that streaked towards the bystanders; it was all he could do to keep them pointed away from the mob.

Silly boy... Miyuki says, watching him run around leaving wire everywhere, and with graceful steps flips over and stomps on the wire, bringing her metal food down on it.

You can't trap justice, or run from the righteous indignation of the masses she says as the crowd pelts Ivan with stones and try to trip him up with their brooms and mops by sticking them into his legs as he runs.

She looks down and slashes the wire with her fan, its enhanced durability making it capable of cutting most standard equipment. she turns to face Ivan once more, a sort of feral smile on her face as she dashes towards him with graceful steps, lightly bouncing across the battle field to perform a twisting slash with her fan's blade.

"Ow! Hey! Dammit!" Ivan growled as the mob pelted him with rocks, distracting him enough that Miyuki was able to cut through his garrote. "Grr... these people are getting too big for their britches! Can't you guys do something?" He turned to his brothers, shouting angrily.

Fedor sighed. "Yeah, whatever. You can handle the kid for a sec, right Alek?"

Not waiting for an answer, the oldest Reznikov rushed towards the mob, striking the ground and causing the very earth to tremble. The rowdy revolutionaries suddenly began to panic, scattering to the winds as Fedor began to clobber them one by one.

Aleksander, it turned out, could not handle the kid for a second, however, and with a deft strike, Lee cleft his sword in two. "Blade Breaker!"

The younger two brothers were disarmed, but they weren't out of the fight. Alek switched to a boxer's stance, throwing powerful haymakers towards Lee, while Ivan began to dodge and weave, looking for a weakness in Miyuki's technique to exploit.

Miyuki's flowing movements offer little in the way of openings often turning from one movement of a dance to the next, her own steps bringing her closer to the youngest of the brothers. Where's your confidence, little boy? gone away with your little toy? Snapped like a thousand strands of fate? She mocks, pushing towards Ivan.

The Crowd however is easily faltering still throwing rocks in a panic at Fedor as they try to back away from the enraged boxer. watching their neighbors and comrades fall fills them with both terror and outrage, a tipping point for the Revolution will their heroes give them a ray of hope in this time or will their hopes be dashed upon the pavement.

Miyuki keeps pushing Ivan, her fan whispering through the wind, its sharp edge dancing towards him as she taunts him further The boy can't even handle a mermaid out of water? aw so sad he cried out to his brothers

With Fedor handling the crowd, a one-man army of devastation, Ivan and Aleksander were able to focus their attentions entirely on Lee and Miyuki. For Lee, this wasn't too big of a problem. Aleksander was a chump without his sword, strong but without any special techniques to his name. Lee literally ran circles around him.

But with every passing second, more bystanders met their end at Fedor's hand. Lee watched as one after another, the people he'd helped stir up met a gruesome fate.

Miyuki was too busy with Ivan, and seemed to be concerning herself more with taunting the youngest Reznikov brother than finishing the job, which left it up to him. He delivered one last strike with the pommel of his sword, knocking Aleksander unconscious, before turning to interpose himself between Fedor and the mob.

"Hey, big guy."

Meanwhile, Ivan saw his brother go down and cried out in alarm. "Alek!" He gritted his teeth and growled at Miyuki. "Alright, I've had about enough of you, little missy! You're gonna die, right here, right now!" He pulled out his lockpicking tools; not really the most dangerous of weapons, but sharp enough that they could leave a nasty gash; and charged her recklessly.

Miyuki smiles as the boy. Ivan pulls a small sharp object and begins charging at her, she springs forward to meet him her Sharp fan ready as she flips forward arcing the fan downward towards Ivan, Cresting Wave! She cries as her fan slams down on his head driving him to the ground where she quickly smacks him with the back of the fan to make sure he can't get back up to interfere with the other fights.

Turning around she makes note of the situation with Aleksander being down as well. She slips forward to stand behind Fedor, Now big boy, we can do this the easy way or the hard way? She says nodding to Lee.

Bloody, broken bodies littered the streets as Fedor stood above them all, his knuckles stained red as he took heavy breaths. He turned from his rampage to see Lee and Miyuki standing there.

"Guess my bros didn't do such a good job taking care of you," he remarked, wiping his mouth on his sleeve.

"Guess not," Lee said, his voice uncharacteristically even as he stared daggers at the eldest brother.

"You better not have killed 'em," Fedor said. "Else I'm gonna have to get rough." He smashed his knuckles together, denting the brass.

"Don't worry," Lee replied, teeth gritted. "We're not you. You're worth more alive, anyways."

Fedor chuckled. "Stupid boy. We run the bounty offices here. There ain't a town on this island that'll take US in! They'd be too scared what we'll do to them when we bust out!"

Lee nodded. "Then I guess I'd better maim you bad enough that'll never happen, huh?"

Fedor's cocky smirk turned to a look of alarm as Lee rushed forward, His seastone blade wrapping around the mob boss's arm. The Shichishito's characteristic branches left him with no easy way to wriggle out, meaning that the slightest motion could result in amputation. He whipped around and punched the blade, sending Lee off-balance enough that it slid away, but caught on his hand, leaving a small cut.

Miyuki's not to be forgotten, as Lee engages Fedor, she whirls her blade as she spins past the large man, her blade lightly dancing into the back of his calf as she slides past, right as he punches Lee's blade. Its not good to brag about such things, I'm sure the families of those you hurt today will be more then eager to press charges to the local authorities, perhaps even at that Marine fort I walked past yesterday.

She smiles and nods to Lee as she lightly backsteps away from Fedor's reach resuming circling him with her fan ready to block any punches if he rushes towards her

"I AM the local authorities!" Fedor responds hotly. "And the marines won't do Jack so long as we don't openly oppose them!" He launches an attack with the force of a controlled mining blast against Miyuki, but the battle is now 2-on-1, and the odds are heavily against Fedor.

Lee's deadly sword swings in a series of wide arcs; it's testament to Fedor's incredible skill that he's able to reflect the blows by punching the broad side of the blade and knocking it off-course every time. "I can't get a shot in!" Lee calls out to Miyuki. "Do something to distract him!"

Miyuki deftly deflects the first of the blows then twists out of the way of the second, letting the momentum of the first carry her, as she spins she twists down kicking at Fedor's shin with one of her strong robotic legs then flips away, landing near the unconscious Ivan, the permanently High heeled foot landing dangerously close to his neck that it could be easily misconstrued in the heat of battle as an attempt to off him. She frowns I don't think flashing my chest would do anything useful right now.  She says in response to Lee, with a bit of a chuckle to herself as she keeps an eye on Fedor as she thinks.
