▪︎ Resourceful. Ashkii can make the most out of situation. Often taking into account his surroundings when dealing with situations at hand. This in turn allows him to in essence manipulate the tides to his advantage.
▪︎ Decisive. Once a decision is made, its final. There is no returning. This goes from actions in battle, to friendships, and even executive decisions. If something has been decided upon then going back on ones word makes you less of a leader. That's his opinion, as such he upholds this view.
▪︎ Charming Leader. There simply is something charming about Ashkii. From the gentle way he speaks and carries himself to his practical wisdom when it comes to the natural world make him come off as a charming humble individual. To carry it further his position in his tribe has shaped him into a competent leader as he has learned how to resolve issues and guide. He is also willing to take the blame for his mistakes and in general just stick up for his group.
▪︎ Cunning. Despite being endowed with inhuman strength and being a physical powerhouse. Ashkii more often than not rather use his brain and take the safest or most beneficial route in most cases. After all, fights aren't won through pure brawn alone.
▪︎ Timid. Ashkii is timid and relatively quite, he often doesn't say much unless neccessary. There is a lot he keeps to himself, being a leader doesn't always mean you have to be the center of attention after all. Sometimes it means you have to be a silent observer in order to make the best of decisions. Especially decisions that ensure the safety of all parties. Because the truth is, Ashkii dislikes to harm others. Preferring peaceful alternatives over aggressive ones. Of course this does sometimes cause oppenents to underestimate Ash and think he is a meek pushover. But that couldn't be far from the truth.
▪︎ Stubborn. As mentioned above, Ashkii is not a pushover. He is very clearly set in his ways, it doesn't mean he isn't willing to listen to others input or willing to change his mind. But it does mean he will often put his own choices first. This also extends to duty, Ashkii for all intents and purposes wants to carry the team on his back even if it causes him to break. As such he is extremely reluctant about accepting help. Thinking it's his responsibility and duty to ensure the safety of his people.
--
▪︎Physical Appearance: Ashkii is rather tall standing at 6'2" (1.88 meters) and boasts a rather athletic build. He has bronze colored skin typical of his people and boasts a set of long, thick, black hair which boasts tribal tattoos on his left shoulder. His face also has a pair of crescent moon shaped tattoos on both sides of his cheek.
▪︎Attire: Much like other members of his tribe Ashkii wears an outfit mostly composed of simple brown textiles, leather, and furs. He has a pair of hand stitched trousers that are complimented by a set of dark leather moccasins. Ashkii will also wear a feathered headdress that obscures his eyes and is decorated with bones, feathers, and simple jewels. Even his jewelry is simple mostly being made of wood, bones, and feathers which further accentuate his role as a shaman.

Beast Form
In a full body transformation, the user assumes the form of a regular sized coyote or just about 1.0 to 1.35 m (3 ft 3 in to 4 ft 5 in) in length with an added 40 cm (16 inches) if the tail is included. Fulvous and grey fur cover the user's body from head to toe. Coyotes like their cousins dogs and wolves have an excellent sense of smell and sound. However where they really excel at is their sense of sight which is extremely good and can pick up on the most minute of details. They also are extremely agile and boast a rather decent amount of strength despite their smaller size when compared to similar canids.
Hybrid Form
In a hybrid transformation, Ashkii retains his humanoid form and can stand upright. He grows to around eight feet in size towering the average human. There hands and feet grow claws and paw pads like a canid. Their body is now covered in fulvous and grey fur from head to toe. A pair of floppy canine ears grows from their head as does a scruffy long tail. While in this state his agility and strength receive a general boost as does his sense of sight, smell, and hearing.

A quiet boy by nature, Ashkii always found himself among adults instead of children. He wasn't one for play, no he wanted action and to understand the world. No different from his brother in fact who took to spirituality and nature. It seemed from early on that they had their predispositions in life set. As such he spent much of his time either helping the adults or simply listening to their conversations... only speaking to ask questions. This subtle and careful nature came to define him and was how he got his true name. 'Honiahaka Ashkii' or "Little Wolf Boy" for he was like a silent and watchful cub.
It was a good trait to have, especially in such a treacherous place like Priare Dodge where the environment itself was harsh. From the giant serpents beneath the land to the pistol scorpions and even the dreaded pine-bears. Priare Dodge would catch anyone too cocky off guard and yet. The man-beasts that roamed the land weren't the biggest offenders. For man's greatest enemy is himself. Ashkii's tribe wasn't the only one inhabiting the island there were many others with set territories and to boot settlers had arrived in the last forty years. Pale-faced men from beyond the sea... in search of Cobalt Lazuli, a rare material that was worth ten times its weight in gold.
Eventually, the time came like any child for Ashkii to be part of the village's right of passage. A series of tests and trials set on the children would determine what role they would serve. During one of the trials which involved surviving out in the wild alone for a month, Ashkii found a strange fruit budding from a cactus. In a hungry state from not having eaten in days, he ate the fruit... its horrible taste hardly deterred his hunger. Little did Ash know that he had consumed one of the legendary Devil Fruits! So he was quite shocked to see that he could now shapeshift into the cunning coyote.
When he returned to the village, the elders were surprised too! Having believed Ashkii somehow have melded with the trickster coyote's spirit. A mythical spirit the tribe believed in who was extremely cunning associated with the moon and known for returning sunlight to humanity every day. A white creature whose fur burnt to a crisp brown from carrying the sun in its mouth stealing it from the greedy demon vulture who ran away with it every night. It was a way to explain the moon cycles as the white coyote's fur burnt over time... as he dashed through the sky. Due to his decisions in the trials and thanks to his newfound ability the elders who originally were planning on making Ashkii the next chieftain instead decided he was the perfect material for a shaman alongside his brother.
From then on the boy was groomed to be a proper shaman a role he took great pride in. So it was no surprise that he excelled at his role greatly! One day while he was still young and his master sent him to get some herbs he found something strange. A small girl with white hair. She seemed lost... Ashkii taking compassion brought her back to the village. The elders immediately consider her to be the white bison! It did help that she like Ashkii possessed special abilities. The fact she stuck to the boy helped boost his reputation as a Shaman further than he could ever imagine as well and soon it became part of his duties to look over Wakana.
As time passed things became rough on Priare Dodge, the settlers started to eat away at the land more and more. Many of the tribes didn't particularly appreciate this and started to retaliate causing instability on the island. But the final nail in the coffin was when the settlers of Priare Dodge the "Dodge Junction" officially became a World Government nation. The greed to fuel their tribute burned more passionately... and with the back of the marines, their assault on the remaining territories became much easier. The cobalt lazuli would be theres.
Ashkii did his best for peace, he truly believed there must be a way for all parties to co-exist. But the damage had been done. Everything was set in stone as it were. The only thing Ashkii could try to ensure was the safety of his people. So, with the backup of the chieftains, he convinced many of the tribes to unite in a confederacy. Up until now, their greatest weakness had been division. United they could at least stand a chance against the assault.
The day came when the great battle was to take place! It was a bloody battle... the scent of iron, smoke, and fire filled the air. Ashkii himself cut down many cowboys. But among the fray, he spotted someone. A cowboy who was running away. Was it out of guilt? Remorse? Something else? Whatever it was, the man seemed to defy his destiny. This caught Ashkii's attention. Sadly, the man fell before his eyes, cut open by an ax and as he watched, Ashkii too was shot off his horse. With his remaining strength, he pulled himself and the cowboy to a nearby cave outside of the fray using his beast form.
