Eric #1
This was supposed to be an easy job, quick money for Eric and his Wolves. Corrupted marine Ensign from Silver Island hired them to retrieve a package from smugglers, who worked for a different group. Quite a straightforward job with an upfront payment and promise of protection from possible legal consequences. So the Wolves took their money, boarded their boat, and sailed on the sea. With the help of good wind and Agnes's exceptional eyesight, they found their prey after two days of sailing, three days before they were supposed to pass their package to another ship.
It was a small sailing boat, only lightly armed with less than twenty men on the board. The resulting battle was a swift display of violence against the poorly trained smugglers that ended with most of their ranks lying on the ship, while the Wolves were tending their wounds and repairing damage caused to their ship by the few cannon shots it was hit with. The only exception to this rule was Eric, a short yet heavily muscular man, who was standing near the mast, pressing the smuggler's captain against it while holding his neck.
"I'll ask you one more time."
He growled.
"Where is the case?"
The other man, tall and wiry in his early thirties, tried to shake his head as much as Eric's grip allowed him.
"I...I don't know, really I swear!"
His fear looked sincere, but something in the scarred warrior made him doubt his words.
"Do I look like a patient guy to you?"
As he said these words his already bloodied fingers, pushed against his neck.
"No answer? Well, fortunately, I went through all that trouble with keeping your men alive, so I can simply kill you and ask someone else."
It wasn't true. To keep their involvement secret, the Wolves killed most of the people on board and intended to finish off the rest however the captain didn't know that. And the fingers capable of crushing bones around his neck were a quite strong argument.
"D...down stairs...in...my cabin...chest...false...bottom…"
Eric nodded.
"See? It wasn't that hard...Wolf Bite!"
Clenching his fist with power that was capable of tearing through the human body, he broke that man's neck and let him fall on the deck.
"Prepare the gunpowder, we don't want to leave any evidence this was caused by us."
As he turned to the stairs leading under the deck, Agnes cleared her throat.
"Hmmm, Eric that may be problematic. There is a ship over there…"
With a short curse, Eric looked in the direction she was pointing to only to see a small boat with a single passenger on it. Too close for them to not see what just happened there."
