Reynard climbed up a steep rocky cliff in Kano Country, it was a small island rocky island in the West Blue with a distinct 'Sino' style of architecture. Normally he would have stayed back home in the East Blue, but he heard a certain master of the arts was present on this island! On the highest rockiest mountain and he figured that he could learn a thing or to from this man. Perhaps get an edge on Rakka in their training. That would be awesome!
"Grr almost there!"
He grasped at a pointing rock jutting out from the cliffside as he grit his teeth. The young seaman was almost there! Just a few inches away and he'd make it to the top.
"Gah! Gotcha!"
The seaman exclaimed grabbing onto the ledge and pulling himself up. There really wasn't much fear of falling, if he really wanted to he could have used Geppo to pick himself up. But the climb was a workout and besides it was less dramatic!
"Yosh!"
Pulling himself up Reynard looked at the green mountain top! There was a small arena/sandpit at the center being overlooked by a rather ornate Chinese-styled dojo. This is where he could find Master Moon? It sure did seem like the place to find such a cool-sounding guy. Reynard looked around but didn't see much, his golden eyes shifting back in forth as he pursed his lips carrying a curious expression. But there was no one... however! A massive bronze gong did catch his attention.
That did make him wonder, what did Master Moon look like? As he thought it over he wondered if Moon perhaps looked like one of those sensei guys they always drew in manga. You know the kind! The ones with the fu machu and long spindly eyebrows! Oh oh and the bald head with the white robe. All dramatic and sagely. He stood there for a minute thinking this over before noticing that it would perhaps be prudent of him to knock the gong.
"Hm-hm!"
Reynard hummed to himself as he paced over to the gong. There was no apparent drumstick or hammer to strike it with. So then, his leg would have to do! Lifting up his leg he struck the gong!
The bronze drum roared announcing Reynard's arrival. Would anyone answer to his rival? Would anyone come to greet him? Only time would tell.
