Eric #6
"F**k, the fishmens are here!"
Yelled the large, chains-wielding guy just as Eric clashed with the first guard, swiftly dodging overhead sword swing before he grabbed the poor fellow by his face and smashed it against the deck.
"I'll take care of them, you get rid of the white-haired freak!"
The muscle-bound man continued as he turned around to face the new attackers. Instead of making his way through the crowd, however, he unleashed the chains on his gauntlets, swinging them in a wide arc against Midas, above the heads of the panicking crowd.
Around that time a gunshot occurred somewhere behind their backs, but Eric paid no attention to it, as the time spent on battlefields taught him how to filter these background noises. Instead, he shifted his weight away from his original victim, assuming the Wolf Stance before charging again nearest guardsman.
Confused by his sudden change in movement patterns, the hired guardian missed his attempt to stab Eric, only to be quickly sent unconscious, as the wild warrior pivoted around his arm, sweeping that poor fellow off his feet, before leaping directly on him to finish the job with few swift hammer strikes to the face. He wanted to continue to his next prey, however, Shio's voice took him back to reality.
"Boss! Agnes got shot and it looks bad!"
For a second, Eric froze. The older brother in him wanted to abandon the mission, save his little sister and get her out of here as fast as possible. However, then the alfa, responsible for a whole pack and not just a single member took over, pushing him back to action. Right in time as the swordswoman used his momentary inattention to sneak on him and swing her sword diagonally from low to high against his neck. Using all four of his limbs to propel himself backward, Eric barely dodged the incoming blade, earning a shallow cut across his face.
She immediately followed, releasing a flurry of swift cuts and thrusts, forcing the white-haired fighter into the defensive.
"She is good…"
Eric grinned, appreciating her skills, while two other guards tried to get him from the sides, using the fact she was keeping him busy to their advantage.
"But I don't have time for this…"
Where normally he would play with her for some time, exploring the depth of her skills just for the fun of that, there he had to hurry because the brotherly voice didn't disappear.
"Wolf Pack"
Freezing on a place once again, the Wolf King lured his opponent into a powerful, overhead slash that was supposed to cut him in two.
"Got you!"
Her victorious smile however quickly changed into confusion and fear, when she realized that Eric already sidestepped and what she was aiming at was only quickly disappearing after-image.
With a wolfish grin on his face, Eric jumped forward, landing only a few centimeters before the swordswoman.
"Sh**"
She tried to turn her blade on him, but it was already too late.
“Ascending Dragon!”
Using his legs as springs, the Wolf King exploded upwards, delivering a powerful uppercut that sent her flying.
Meanwhile on the boat belonging to the Wolves, Sanagi came back to her senses, knocking down the guy who shot Agnes with a short and rather violent combo, which put Marcus into a pretty disadvantageous situation, facing both Rahu and the Alien girl armed with nothing but his cutlass.
“What the h**l are you?”
He cursed, witnessing the display of the salmon skinned girl´s abilities. As being attacked from the side wasn't something he would like to risk against the two of them, the guardsman made a single step backward, turning slightly sideways so he could keep both of them in his field of vision. Before Rahu or Sanagi could attack, however, the doctor decided to take the situation in his own hands, charging against the young fighter with an ears piercing battle cry, slamming his large medical bag against his head.
“Ouch, are you crazy old man? What are you doing?”
The young fighter covered his head from the sudden attack, that didn´t have enough strength behind itself to cause any serious damage, yet still grabbed his attention. That was opportunity, that Marcus couldn´t let slide and so, without saying a word, the guardsmen lunged forward, thrusting his sword against Sanag´s chest.
