Samuel #8
“Raw fish? Are you sure it´s safe?”
Asked Anna suddenly, when they were only street away from the place.
“Look who is talking. Wasn´t it you who said that we are on vacation so we should enjoy bit of adventure?”
His wife bit her lip.
“Yeah but...”
Samuel sighed, but his naturally angry face suddenly changed gentle smile. Annabella was one of the three people who had this kind of mysterious effect on him.
“Alright...alright, than what do you suggesting.”
With a wide smile, she kissed him on his cheek and let him through the night streets away. By accident, fortunate or otherwise, this new route led around the university. As they were walking next to it´s old building, the psychiatrist noticed, that the guards finally arrived on the scene. Dozens of men armed with long rifles were standing guard around the building, while another dozen or so were preparing to enter.
“Hmmm, looks like they have sufficient numbers, now let´s see if they have sufficient skills”
The fighter muttered for himself.
Meanwhile as B.G. broke into Gabriel´s cabinet he noticed, that the room was filled with nothing but a books Dozens if not hundreds of dusty old manuscripts about different historical epochs or events, philosophies and philosophers and even few about martial arts, but nothing that looked really valuable. Well, maybe except for the safe that was hidden behind false shelf. It was smaller, but well made metal box unlocked by numerical code, that kind a rich people used to hide their cash or other valuables. Nothing someone like B.G. wouldn´t be able to open if given enough time. However, he wasn´t as second later someone walked inside the office.
“Ehm, excuse me professor Moon, are you back?!
Elderly woman with the look of library clerk, stern face and already gray hair pulled in knot squinted into the darkness.
“Wait, you aren´t professor Moon, who...”
She asked before realizing the truth. With eyes wide open she screamed
“THIEF! SOMEONE BROKE HERE!”
Unfortunately, her high pitched voice was unlikely to be missed by anyone in the whole city!
