AdventurousIdeon has cut his ties to home, and is basically living for himself at the moment. So he's quite adventurous willing to take risks and try new things even in his old age. He seems like the type who is willing to try most anything.
The Wisdom of AgeIdeon has lived, learned, lost, and loved. In his forty years of life he's seen much and understood more. He has some solid wisdom of the wise, when taking in situations. Whether his consultation with his own wisdom is followed is a different question. But he can say something quite smart on and off.
FriendlyIdeon is if anything capable of being friendly with most people. He's dealt with all sorts while being a shop owner. He's got the patience and wear to deal with people whose personality bites at the consciousness and tires others out. He can be polite and friendly with most anyone and is decent enough at making them feel comfortable enough with him.
CaringIdeon has loved and lost. He's survived it but it does show its head rearing in a weird way. He can tend to care about those he likes a little too much. He'll show a bit of unnecessary worry at time. He thinks he's gotten over his losses but the effect of those losses him can still be seen sometimes.
NaiveIdeon is smart in the ways of humans in general but naive to the ways of the world at large. He hasn't been beyond the borders of his city home until very recently. AppearanceIdeon is a bulky man to say the least, while not so much can be said for his lower body, his upper body is powerful and a bit on the bulky side. It is seen most in the taut muscle of his arms but also in the natural gruff of his pectorals and deltoids. A small plume of hair spills out when he wears a v-neck shirt though that is not so often. He's got a taller head with a sharp chin and short hair that runs across the top of his head a little like short grass.While he can grow a mustache or beard he is clean shaven most of the time. The features of his face are hard and often grim only made better by his naturally happy attitude. In essence he's a bit of the gruff of what one might expect of a smith tailored onto a pleasant man.
Ideon isn't a particularly picky chooser of clothes. His wardrobe is generally made up of button-up shirts sized large enough for him to wear them comfortably though he does have some that might be a bit too small. As it comes to pants he wears hardy pants for work, its a necessity of his previous work and he's gotten quite comfortable with the rougher materials and the full length of them. The one strange thing is he has a ta tendency to always wear sandals whether of wicker or wooden clops, he particularly does not like how some shoes really don't allow his feet to breath.

SmithIdeon is a serviceable smith, if you give him a description of an object, assuming its not too complex he can probably make it. Given a blade he can refurbish it, but if you're expecting a Meito out of Ideon then you're probably better off looking elsewhere.
HandymanIdeon was once the man of his house, which means he had to deal with many household chores that required the strength that he had in bounds. He's quite good at doing simple carpentry fixes, and stuff like that. If one is looking for more complex work, going to a specialist he'd recommend but he'll step in if need be.
Anthropologist/ArchaeologistIdeon is a student of the history of mankind. His knowledge is outdated for certain, but he knows some things. Currently most of his knowledge is stuck within his own island though, but his plan is to expand it as he travels.

- A key is only as strong as the material it is made from. The user has no way to strengthen the material.
- The user must be in direct contact with the material they want to construct the key from. Also if they are making it for a specific object they must also maintain contact with that object while they create the key.
- Any keyhole created may be washed away with salt water, while this won't destroy the key, it'll undo any affects the key has had due to said keyhole.

{History}
Youth (0-19)Ideon is from a remote island in the West Blue. The island is of no particular import, save that it was a culture of city states, farmers, and intellectuals(-ish) (Think Hellenistic). Ideon grew up in what was considered a rather normal childhood on his island. He however was not in one of the more prosperous intellectual family units and was instead part of a family of farmers on the outskirts of one of the larger city states. There he grew up fairly peacefully, helping and learning to work the farm.
Growing Up (19-30)But farming was not a trade his parents had planned for him so in his later years he was sent into the city to be apprenticed at one of the cities many blacksmiths. There he learned more tools of the new trade. There while he learned the artisan job he'd been sent to Ideon was also exposed to the higher intellectual arts espoused by the high class individuals of the city. In particular he found interest in the studies of anthropology and archaeology. The stories of worlds beyond, civilizations older than memory, they enthralled his interest. But only that, as Ideon still ended up completing his tradeship in smithing. He completed his journeyman project, found a wife, and settled down in one of the outer villages to be a simple artisan and live his life.
Growing Older (30-40)His adult life was, busy, unremarkable, comfortable. His marriage went well save for the lack of children. An unfortunate thing for their relationship but Ideon and his wife simply found other things to occupy their time. In the odd times when he was not busy with work or she with keeping the house and other menial jobs they took the time to visit nearby cities. Travel across the island and other sorts of things. Of course with age tragedy comes, time winds down for everyone. And his wife took sick, it was a long process but in his 38th year his wife died. A tragedy for him that he survived, bore, weathered, and overcame. He continued on depressed for some time, but he has eventually recovered from that.
Chasing Dreams (40-41)With nothing tying him down anymore, no wife, no children, Ideon decided that with what was left of his life he'd go out to see the world. He would do what he'd never been courageous enough to do in the past. And so, at 40 he packed up his shop, and booked a ship away from his remote island home to see the world at large.
