It was early morning and a few of the morning sun's rays pierced the canopy of deep verdant leaves that made the jungles of Goa. Pacha found himself below the canopy in question... machete in hand slashing any branch or thicket that got in his way. Traversings these jungles was no easy feat and while Pacha was used to the more aggressive environments of the Grand Line he still had to admit that the jungles of Goa were less than pleasant.
Luckily he had two guides with one. One was Sir Willard Montblu an Archeologist and Anthropologist from the North Blue. He was a geezer extremely skinny and with a massive white mustache that obscured his mouth completely. The other was a local 'Big Game Hunter' simply known as Sal who carried a double-barreled shotgun on her person at all times. She was a beautiful blonde toned woman with a love for guns and knives. The man and the woman had shown great interest in helping Pacha find this so-called sanctuary of the Wind God that Pacha's ancestors worshipped.
In any case, this is were fate had landed him. Since not too long ago in Mirrorball he'd had a run-in with a couple of grave robbers and tomb raiders posing as archeologists. It was also the place was Pacha had run into Sir Willard. After a less than savory encounter he'd managed to get his hands on the Bejeweled Cranium... a special artifact made of solid gold said to have been found on Jaya long ago.
This special artifact to the untrained eye might simply seem like a simple gold piece meant for decoration. But such an assumption would be completely and utterly wrong. If one shined a light in the skulls' foramen magnum a map would project from the skull's two gemmed eyes displaying the supposed location of the Wind God's sanctuary. A sanctuary that ended up being in none other than in Goa... an odd turn of events in all honesty.
"Over here!"
Sal yelled pointing her own machete toward clearing up ahead. She flipped her blonde wavy hair causing her loxes to become glazed in sunlight. Taking the lead Pacha walked ahead clearing more leaves and branches out of his way before arriving at the small clearing. The sun shined more brightly this time due to the lack of canopy in the small clearing... something that also allowed for emerald grass to grow in the scene. The clearest thing in the entire scene however was a massive pillar erect among the trees with the chiseled image of a feathered serpent embroidered into it.
"This is quite the find! Hahaha!"
The old archeologist burst out in laughter as he approached the stone pillar. He began to palm through it trying admiring the image. Soon after he had his log opened up and was beginning to create a sketched rendition of the monolith before him. Pacha smiled admiring the object... the chiseled serpent had sapphires embroidered as eyes. Whoever the people who made this were they took their worship of their god quite seriously.
"We should probably head back to camp and move it closer to here... I think we're very close."
Pacha said, still in awe of the artifact.
"Ya think? About time honestly... we've been looking around for almost a week with no leads."
The huntress took a seat and began to take the resting time to polish her weapons as well as hydrate herself. Pacha meanwhile knelt down and began to do a prayer to the object... his redemption was just within reach. He could almost taste it.
