Personality
I am giant!
As someone who was born to giant woman on island full of giants, Hakon considers himself to be full blooded Giant and so he is also proudly claiming to be one. Of course, his height is way bellow average for the giants which is something many points out. That makes him very conscious about his height and easily irritable by anyone whom even unintentionally, suggests that he is too short for a giant.
Heat of Battle!
Usually cool and cheerful person, Hakon changes entirely, when he enters battle. As the level of excitement and norepinephrine is growing, he is changing wild and dangerous fighter, who is charging against foes who heavily outnumbers him, with a wild smile on his face, as he believes that glorious death in battle is the only right way how to leave this world.
Proud Swordsman!
Despite going wild into the heat of battle, Hakon is very proud and honorable swordsman and martial artist, who is following the Way of sword. Because of this he never use dirty trick or superior numbers against his foes and frowns upon anyone who do so, as he believe, that for true man to die with honor is better fate than wining with shame. Also, despite not aiming to be the Worlds Strongest Swordsman he never decline duel challenge from fellow swordsman as he likes to test his techniques and skills against other likely minded people. Either to prove his superiority, or to learn something new from them.
Beer, Women and Songs!
As a giant raised on Elbaf, Hakon is leading life of true warrior. Meaning, that when he isn´t in battle he is enjoying everything the life can offer him to it´s fullest. Be it beer (drink of true warriors), women or singing songs and boasting about his accomplishments with his friends, he is always all in. Living only in the present moment and acting like if that should be no tomorrow, without carrying about possible consequences of his actions.
Appearance
Physical Description
Because of his unique heritage, Hakon is extremely small giant, only 180 cm tall, with heavily muscular figure. Thanks to his giant blood he has appearance of a man in his middle thirties despite being already on the wrong side of the seventies. His face is rough, with a strong bones covered by a brown stubble beard and several scars from his numerous fights. Unlike many of his bigger cousin, he is shaving his hair with the sole exception of the brown mohawk on the top of his head. As a half dwarf he also has long and fluffy, squirrel like tail, which he usually keeps hidden under his "kilt". Only when angered or in the middle of battle, his tail pops up, usually destroying the concentration of his opponents.
Outfit and Accessories
As evident from his extravagant hair style, Hakon has rather extravagant style, born from his vision of how true warrior should looks like. Because of that he is wearing heavy leather boots, with dark pants, shirt and coat from heavy leather, that is so long, that when belted it´s lower part is looking like leather kilt. Across his chest, he is wearing another strong leather belt that is keeping his sword hanger on the place, allowing him to wear his huge weapon across his back rather than on the waist. When traveling, he is also carrying large knapsack full of his personal belongings with him.

Although Hakon´s giant blood is diluted by that of dwarf, he still inherited part of their incredible might. No matter if the task is to lift and carry heavy load or to break something with his fist, the sheer physical strength he can produce is far above anything normal human being can do.

Despite not being as big as the gigantic part of his family, Hakon still inherited part of their longevity and surprisingly dense and resilient body, that can easily shrug of even very hard injuries, that would kill ordinary human on the spot.

Although he inherited most of his traits and character from his mother´s side, Hakon still have his father´s blood in his veins, manifested, among others, in the form of his long, fluffy tail, taste in women and almost supernatural blend of mobility, stability and swiftness, that allows him to move faster and with more grace and elegance, that one would expect from such musclebound individual.

Mastering the flames of his love had one more surprising side effect. It granted Hakon almost superhuman resistance to high temperatures, that occurs both naturally and in the form of enemy´s attacks and techniques together, to some degree with a resistance against fire and flames.

Description:- Eight Night Blades is old martial art that was considered useless in real battle, until Hakon mastered it to the point, where real life application became possible once again. This style is specialized on the usage of oversized, heavy swords, that is controlled with full body motion rather than with the movement of the arms alone. This gives to the user unique movement patterns, that are allowing him to seamlessly flow from one technique to another and thus create seemingly never ending combo attack. There are no defensive movements or parries in this style as the philosophy behind it dictate to use force against force to crush your enemy and always push forward, without holding back.
- Flame of Passion (D-class):- After meeting Seere and realizing he was unworthy of her affection at the moment, Hakon trained day and night, until he learned how to channel his inner fire through his sword to engulf it with a hot and powerful flames.

Description:- Basic technique that is using special cyclical step, during which is the user spinning around with a great speed, like a spinning top, while constantly moving forward, against his enemy. The arm with the sword is kept close to the body and free arm is placed on the blade, so the user can adjust trajectory of his sword while moving forward, which gives him the ability to attack anywhere from ankle, to neck height against the target. Hakon can choose either left or right sided rotation depending on the circumstances.

Description:- Basic technique that is especially effective in the one versus many fight, as it allows the user quickly attack whoever his standing behind them. From close stance, with the blade arm across his chest, Hakon will swiftly rotate his body and lunge “backwards” using the momentum of his movement to swing his blade diagonally from down to up. Unlike the Grass Cutting Slash, this technique is using the full length of Hakon´s arm so it has much greater reach, being able to hit anywhere from lower leg to lower torso level.

Channeling his inner fire through his blade, Hakon engulfs it in flames of his love, before lunging “backwards” and using the momentum of his movement to deliver powerful, diagonal slash that goes from down to up. Unlike the original version of this technique, this one is capable of not only cutting the enemy, but also burning them with Hakon´s flame.

Description:- Basic technique, which allows Hakon to swiftly dodge incoming attack, while at the same time attacking the enemy from unusual position. Climbing mountain start´s with the same rotational step as a Grass cutting slash, but this time, Hakon keeps his sword in straightened arm, swinging it from low to high, to use it´s momentum together with a gentle jump to propel himself into the air, higher than is his own height. In this position, he will finish his rotation in the form of diagonal pirouette, during which he slash his sword against the enemy´s head or shoulder from up to down in powerful diagonal slash.

Description:- The name of this technique is rather misleading as it´s in fact straight punch rather than slash. Earth Shattering Slash starts with the same rotational step as a Grass Cutting Slash, however instead of using his blade to attack enemy directly, Hakon will target their weapon, knocking it aside with the combination of his inhuman strength and incredible weight of his weapon, before swiftly lunging forward to deliver powerful straight punch aimed on the enemy´s solar plexus. Focusing the whole momentum of his movement behind it, this strike has enough strength to send most of his opponent´s flying.

Description:- Night Blade is sword specifically crated from Hakon´s needs. As the story goes, it´s blade was forged by the most skilled Elbaf´s blacksmith from full-sized giant sword without leaving any steel behind. Making almost 180 cm long sword, with wide, slightly curved blade that is sharpened only from one side. This blade is mounted on two handed handle, protected by circular guard. Thanks to it´s specific background the Night Blade is considered to be Wazamo Grande Sword.
- Immense weight (Trait): The unusual quality of the Night Blade is it´s extreme weight, that is disproportional to it´s relatively small size. The sword itself is as heavy as sword of regular giant, which gives it incredible destructive power greatly exceeding any regular sword.
Background
Miraculous child
Hakon´s birth came as a great surprise for everyone, except his mother who, just a few weeks before this joyful event came back from her travels across the Grand Line, without any signs of pregnancy. The child was extremely unusual for Elbaf standards. Tiny, with long fluffy tail, yet as strong as any giant children around them. And since his mother Gerda refused to speak about his potential father, the local giants concluded, that Hakon´s birth must be a miracle. Perhaps Loki, their god of mischief and trickstery blessed them with this tiny, little giant to show them his affection.
Life amongs giants
Despite being by far the smallest person on the whole island, Hakon´s childhood wasn´t any harder, than childhood of any full blooded giant kid around. Maybe it was because the elders truly believed, that he is blessed by gods, or maybe because his physical strength was on pair with other kids around him. Either way, he was well accepted member of the community who, similarly to other kids of his age spend his time training to be a great Warrior of Elbaf. The villagers from his home village went even so far, that they paid to the best blacksmith on the island for a sword created specially for his purposes. By every accord he had happy childhood, but that didn´t meant that he was able to settle on Elbaf for his whole life. On the contrary, as someone who had the blood of Elbaf´s warriors in his veins, he was drawn to the sea since he reached puberty. And when he finally reached adulthood, like many others before him, he packed his few belongings, took his self made, one man ship and voyaged beyond the horizon.
Life amongs mercenaries
Obviously, Hakon wasn´t traveling alone for long. As the amount of money he took with himself grow significantly smaller, he started looking for job and was quite lucky as he found group of mercenaries that were heading to the Blues. As he wanted to test the mantles of his abilities against the worlds greatest swordsmen anyway, he accepted their offer and become part of the group called Wild Dogs. He spend more than two decades with them, coming from battle to battle, serving anyone who could offer their rates, from local monarchs to shady business men connected to the underworld to pirate captains who wanted to boost their military strength for a while. Luckily, even through he made a quite name for himself, he didn´t get bounty on his head even through he was dancing on the razor edge of the law for his whole career. During his career he also spend few years in a remote monastery in the East Blue, where he learned his martial arts by defeating all the monks presented to prove his worth as a fighter. At first, he did it just from a boredom, as he was short on contract at the time, thinking that he doesn´t need anything more than his monstrous strength and sword, but he soon changed his mind as he realized, that the ceremonial techniques of the monks has really deep martial roots behind them. So he took their techniques and polished them back for a real world combat usage.
On the way home
It was merry life and he was really enjoying it, but after twenty or so years, he realized, how much he is actually bored by the lack of any real challenge. Because, whenever he went in the Blues, it was surprisingly hard to find fighter, that would really put his strength and blade to any serious test. His skill were stagnating and that wasn´t something he could accept and so, after twenty years of service, he once again put together small ship, break away from the Wild Dogs and set a sail back towards his old home on the Grand Line, hoping that there, in the strongest sea in the world he can find enemies worthy of his strength and skills.
