Let's tune in to the pearly blue seas of East Blue, where nothing of relevance ever happens and the days are hilariously boring all year around! Kiddin' of course, though that's what someone from the outside seas might think. The East Blue is peaceful and no one of importance really dwells there for too long, after all, it's a weak sea with an average bounty of three million. What a ridiculous disappointment.
One fishman desired to fix this terrible situation, even if he technically came from the Red Line, specifically the Fishman Island, homeland to nearly all of his people. He had taken a kind and warm adoration for the East Blue, being the weakest sea after all, the perfect place where he could hone his skills without too many worries, as well as constantly raid ships for all the riches that they had just so he could give it all to the needy and homeless.
Today was no different!
Though not premeditated. It was just Bucket, the Pearly Nautilus fishman, sleeping on top of a rock under the surface of the water, finding it to be just high up enough for him to get a bit of the sun's rays, just to warm his front a slight bit while he slept in his favorite cold waters. Eventually, though, his eyes stirred open when the light was suddenly blotted out by two passing ships, his cartoony eyes sharpening to genuine anger.
Interrupting his NAP!
And when he rose from the waters and noticed that the ships were actually mostly undetailed, which meant clandestine stuff, he got even angrier. Contrabanding riches right over HIS nose and interrupting his sleep!? That's bullshit.
WAY TOO MUCH BULLSHIT!
For that reason, taking a lot of water into the hole located in the middle of his upper back, the huge fishman suddenly expelled it to rocket his body out towards the escorted ship at high speeds, the surface of the water exploding out, giving way to the monstrously tall beast of a fishman who landed right on the ship, his actual weight ever so slightly rocking it for a second.
"Your riches - hand them over!"
The big man ordered, not expecting any meaningful amount of struggle from the fools who dared disrupt his sleep.
Partly because the first person he saw, a sailor, panicked, screaming about the "Underseas Abomination" - a definite ego booster to the big guy.
