The train is secured, the Vandal is restrained, and the civilians are taken care of. Everyone in need of medical attention is given their appropriate attention. Francis's sword is retrieved for him and finally, the trains are moved back to the city. Agent Sherwood's ship takes the civilians and everyone who was on board to Water 7... Gen and Francis are given hotel rooms to stay at and an invitation to meet with Sherwood at a restaurant on top of the hotel the following day at 10 am in the morning.
The following day...
Water 7
9:00 am, at the Lanesborough Hotel and Restaurant
Gen had woken up, he couldn't recall any dreams from his slumber... hell he could recall very little about how he had slept in the first place. He sat upon his bed looking through his room, it was a simple hotel room... beige walls, grey carpet, cream-colored sheets on the bed. Nothing too crazy, he couldn't help but wonder how the hell he had gotten here. He decided to get up stretching a bit something that caused him some sharp pains on his chest area he flinched at the looking down at his chest seeing it covered with bandages.
He was hurt... that's when it came to him. The whole night before, with Francis and the Vandal. This must be some sort of ploy on the Marines part... or perhaps Francis had gotten him the room. In reality, it made little difference. He did, however, hope that Francis was alive and doing well. Good partners are few and far between these days. The Tengu got out of bed he looked at a piece of paper folded up on the nightstand. Gen looked at it quizzically, he picked up the note which said the following:
--
'Mr. Momochi and Mr. Sommer please meet me at the Lanesborough Restaurant, it's on the topmost floor of the hotel. I have a few questions I was unable to ask yesterday, consider it a debriefing of sorts. Plus, you get a free breakfast on me.' - Sincerely Clark Sherwood
--
The Tengu scoffed crumbling up the piece of paper and tossing it out into a nearby trash bin. He couldn't say no to food but at the same time... this was an odd invitation. It most certainly didn't bode well, he usually never had problems with the World Government but for the most part, he made sure to always stay under the radar. He had an odd feeling this interrogation would be about his encounter with Miu and the destructive wake he had left in Resinbar.
Grumbling he went to the closet nearby almost mechanically, his suitcase there just as he suspected. He grabbed a plane violet kimono of his decorated with a red sash and put it on. The Tengu let out a sigh as he went out of the room and into the hallway, looking at his door number he noticed the numbers ninety-eight. Closing his door not even bothering to lock it he made way toward the wire-drawn elevators found in this hotel. He clicked the appropriate button and hopped onto the device which took him all the way to the topmost floor, the location of the restaurant.
The elevator doors parted revealing the various scents of different morning foods and revealing different locals enjoying meals. Everyone was well dressed and acting proper, Gen seemed a bit foreign when compared to everyone else in the area. Gen felt his mouth water, but he didn't let that distract him from his current situation. It scared him, to say the least. Almost immediately when he stepped onto the restaurant floor a restaurant worker approached him.
"Welcome! You must be Mr. Momochi... please follow me!"
The man exclaimed, he was of medium stature with short curly black hair and a Dali mustache that suck up. The restaurant worker leads Gen through various tables of people enjoying their extravagant breakfast something that only served to make the Tengu more and more hungry. Finally, they arrived at a room in which he opened up revealing a table full of food and Agent Sherwood reading a newspaper. Sherwood instantly turned around, his blue eyes opening wide at the sudden entrance of the Tengu.
"Welcome, Mr. Momochi. Please, take a seat... we still have to wait for Francis to come in."
Gen nodded, entering the room. The restaurant worker closed the door behind them.
"Thanks... Mr...?"
He question.
"Please, just call me Agent Sherwood."
"Right... Thanks Agent Sherwood."
The Tengu gave a single nod, walking over to the table and taking a seat. The table was loaded with food of all sorts! Toast, Eggs, Bacon, Waffles, Pancakes! Whatever western breakfast food you could think of was on the table ready for consumption. Gen eyed the food hungrily. How much longer would Francis take to arrive? That was all Gen could think of at the moment.
