Than mine…? Narcissa’s head tilted. Did he mean to suggest that he, too, had a Devil Fruit’s ability? All of a sudden, she felt a little less confident in her ploy, though that feeling quickly passed her by. She would see such an ability of his in due time, though even she had to admit that she wasn’t all that versed in the types of powers such things could provide.
“I don’t really read newspapers,” Miss Auberon stated, matter-of-fact in her response as she led the way. At one point, she raised her leg seemingly a bit too high, only for her foot to strike seemingly solid air. A trick of the eye to those unaffected, though those privy to the Yume Yume no Mi’s gift could readily surmise what was truly there — a twisted bridge of steps onto which the girl ascended until she was a good few feet upon even Roland’s head.“But, this Eric guy,” she added:
“Sounds like he likes trouble…”
As they continued across the groves, it wasn’t too long before one of Roland’s posse piped up, like an impatient child. Cici stopped and frowned, leaning over the edge of her otherwise invisible bridge to find the culprit. Blue eyes narrowed as she looked to each and every one of the squad of men — burly brawlers of variable calibre. She raised a hand, powder forming on her palm, and then blew.
“You… You… And you…,” Narcissa announced after each puff of powder darted towards their intended targets. Presuming them to be under the influence — this time not of an alcoholic kind — she simply continued along the bridge, leading them ever closer to their destination. “You three. With me. If the ship’s still boarded, we’re going to need to be a bit trickier in our approach. Unless the lot of you really want to charge in head on…?” Not much longer and soon they would sight it, and she would gesture to it accordingly from her apparently aerial perch.
