Within a step of walking out of the room, Idol had to lean an elbow against a wall to stay upright. From where he stood, there were several, non-distinct medical professionals going about their business, none of them quite looking like the nurse that almost took his head off. Then again, his memory of what that nurse actually looked like wasn’t completely reliable in the first place.
Idol weakly took a single step down the hall before he heard a new voice call out to him. He looked up to see a doctor approaching him. But something was afoot. This doctor wasn’t approaching him like a concerned caretaker approaching an injured person. Much to Idol’s shock and annoyance, this doctor was walking with authority!
“Oh my god, he’s coming right at me!” Idol thought. “Did he see one of my posters too?” He straightened himself up as the doctor got closer and closer, telling him not to leave his room and insisting he get some rest.
“I’ve never seen this guy before, how did he know I was in a room? Hang on, get some rest? That’s what the nurse was sayi-” Idol gasped and shot his eyes open at just how obvious this ambush was. This cat was clever to change into a different person so quickly, but it made a big mistake trying to approach Idol so blatantly.
The moment the doctor was close enough, Idol took a single step back. “I got you now!” He said, suddenly skipping forward and throwing a thrusting side kick, or as he called it, his signature Idol Kick, right to the doctor’s chin. If this cat thought it had him beat in the reflexes department, it had no idea how wrong it was.
