Lilin Post #5 / Tally Post #7
Lilin threw her head back as the gate fell, opening her mouth wide to show her sharpened teeth as she laughed her grating "kashashasha~" laugh. The few guards who had been posted at the gate were scrambling for their weapons as the alarm began to sound - but they wouldn't get far as the diminutive devil lunged forward, growing rapidly in size until she was the one towering over them. Her blade flashed in the low light, cutting through the nearest guards in short order with seemingly wild but perfectly-placed swings.
With at least her initial batch of guards dealt with, Lilin planted her blade tip-first against the ground, taking care not to let it sink in, and looked over to watch Jaq for a moment. Her free hand went to work on the inside of her stretched out haori, digging out a fresh match which she quickly struck against the hilt of her blade, relighting her pipe in this brief calm before the real storm. "Oi, tha take the leftern, savvy?" The woman with the now ink-black hair, softly floating in tendrils, as if caught in water, turned away from the shirtless man as additional guards rushed to the breach in their camp's defenses.
The Smoking Devil inhaled deeply from her pipe, cherishing the flavor for a moment before blowing it hard out of her nose, baring her sharp teeth at guards - complete with her hair splaying out behind her, it made for a truly intimidating image, and the first few men stumbled in their sprint toward her. Lilin cackled at them before lunging forward, driving her still-lit match against the foremost guard's head, sending the man reeling against the ground, as her blade swung around, cutting through the men behind the first.
The sound of the alarm would've roused Tally from her sleep, if she had been sleeping in the first place. The large fishwoman pushed herself up from the floor of her cell slowly, looking blearily around as one of her other arms fished around for her shades. They were, of course, right where she had left them, folded and resting on top of her similarly neatly folded bandana, which she picked up in the same motion with another pair of hands. She sighed as she placed the tea shades to rest on her nose, tying the bandana around the top of her head in a quick, smooth motion.
If the alarms were blaring in the middle of the night, that must have meant that someone was trying to escape. Tally threw a glance over toward her neighboring cell, fully expecting her new neighbor to be long-gone... But there was that silver-haired Hotaru, sitting up and still very much in her cell. The coating mechanic raised a brow in disbelief, chuckling softly. "So, those alarms aren't for you? Hm..."
Tally sat up properly in the middle of her cell, crossing her legs under heard. She placed one hand on the cuff around her ankle, twisting it around in a vain attempt at adjusting it to be slightly more comfortable, and then looked over toward Hotaru's cell again. "Best get ready. Once they catch that escapee, they'll be going through the camp and making sure that the rest of us are still here and don't start thinking about running off."
