Syph Post #29 / Jaq Post #26
The return trip which he'd thought would feel shorter was anything but that. Those friends of hers took their sweet time for seconds more than he'd have liked. But soon enough they'd caught up to him and he put the paces on. The stones of Raffaelle passed beneath, none looked back to see if any marines were following, their aim was forward, their friends and crewmates.
It didn't take long until Jaq ground to a halt before the entrance. The warehouse like exterior had its entrance barred still. A small group of marines still stood at it, they were likely recovered from what Jaq had done earlier. He stood outside it for a moment "Find your way in." The words slipped quietly from his mouth. Then he charged the gate, the steel bars did nothing to slow his advance. The boxer bit his lip as his body changed, he hit the bars and split on impact. Slit into four pieces each lump of dough slammed full body into a marine on the other side. Then it all came together, his body coalesced and he emerged from it.
"Did you miss me?"
The boxer smiled cracking his knuckles together. From where he stood he swung out with a series of punches in both directions. His arms split into doughy bludgeons as he fought marines all about him. His red eyes turned down the hallway to where he'd last seen them fighting. Jaq huffed, his debt was repaid now he had some steam to let off.
Syph whirled about as the marine made use of his strange ability to leap off the air itself. Her own feet solid beneath her, held firmly to the earth as they stepped circles about to keep the ax-wielding crazy man before her. It was, interesting, fighting someone else who had Kenbunshoku Haki.
If it made them even she wasn't sure, ducking beneath an ax swing she twisted on her foot and swept his feet. He jumped, she swung her blade at his belly and his ax came down and caught it on the head. Each step, each move was countered, endless options were played out as they danced their intricate combat. "This could go on forever." She commented quietly annoyed that she wasn't able to open any real gap as she should've been able to. "Unlikely."
Her red eyes blinked and flared as she pressed her blade against his ax. Then she felt it, them, one, two, three, four familiar voices sounding in the back of her head. Syph smiled, help, help was here. Tenseness in her body relaxed a little, "I suppose you're right, it's unlikely." She said. With the rest of them there, she could drop her distraction. Just the two of them maybe needed help, but the full group.
Syph breathed, her foot hit the ground as he twisted about her to slice her from side to side. And she flickered, up. Her red eyes flamed with light as she twisted in the air. A foot slammed down onto the air as she faced him from above. "Akakaze!" The black blade swung down crashing into the ax as it raised to meet it. The ax blocked it as she suspected, but the blade of air passed crashing into his chest. Her enemy staggered backwards.
"In fact it's about to end."
