The arrival of the Dancing Red at Raffaele was an understated matter. Tied up in one of the less popular docks of the coastal town its crew had made their quiet entrance to the island of Coast Nostra. Using knowledge courtesy of Maximillian they'd chosen a dock on the southern edge of the town far from the Marine's Naval Base Darby which dominated the north end of this commerce city.
From there the first item of business for the crew of said ship was to get a shipwright to take a look at it. The trusty ship having been through long journeys through the Grand Line was in need of a certain level of care that it's owner, Syphalia believed it was worth getting here.
"So where is this shop you spoke of?" She asked as she led a part of the crew through the sailor-filled town towards a smaller ship repair company that Max had recommended to them. Alongside her Max, Lilin, and Del Ray accompanied her, leaving Arlen, Gyato, and Kitty behind to mind the ship. "Shouldn't be too much further now. I think it's just down this street another block or two, and then it should be on our left." Syphalia raised an eyebrow at that statement feeling as if she'd heard it once or twice before on this hunt for the shop. The deckhand beside her who was giving directions had a confident look upon his face which caused her only to roll her eyes.
The group of four pushed their way through crowds of sailors and tradesman as they made their way down the crowded street between lines upon lines of clay buildings that rose up in multi-story fashions on either side of them. The deckhand ended up leading them down three more blocks before they stopped before a large tri-story wooden building with a wooden sign on front with the large words 'VANN'S NOSTRAN SHIP-REPAIR'. "This is the place!" Max claimed as the group stood before the plain wooden building.
"Hmmm, doesn't seem very busy? You sure we should go to them." Del asked as they stood outside. "They should be fine, and they're discreet. That's whats important." The deckhand responded as he stepped forward to hold open the door for the group. Syphalia nodded at that statement, the doctor might not worry about it as much since he didn't have a bounty, but for herself, Arlen, and Lilin keeping a low profile meant finding people who wouldn't go crazy over their being wanted.
Stepping through the door first she stepped into a large open room. Above her head in the scaffolding workers seemed to be putting together some wooden contraption in the air. She paused for a moment to glance at it curiously while she continued to move forward to let those behind her in as well.
"Yo!" the voice from a respectable looking man who was approaching them with a wave turned Syph's attention. "Hello, might you be Vann?" She asked in her semi-polite voice.
"That I am, what can I do for you all today?"
"I'm looking for an estimate for repairs for my ship."
"Of course, of course." Vann responded with a nod as he pulled out a small book from his back pocket and slid it open. He scratched his chin as he looked through it. "Hmm, I've only got one repairman free at the moment ... he should be around here somewhere ... JAQ!" His voice yelled through the open room. His voice was immediately answered by the crashing open of a door. Moments later a half naked young man swathed in a red cloak came out of a side door.
With spikey blonde hair in what seemed to be an afro and a toned body covered in tattoos, the young man swaggered his way up to the group. "Yo Vann, what's up?" He said with a curious voice before pausing as his eyes laid themselves upon the group of four that presented themselves before him.
"Customer's huh ..." he paused glancing at the group a few of which at least were staring at his half naked body wondering what exactly was going on. Jaq smiled with style, "Like what ya see?" He said with an overconfident laugh.
