“I see land,” said the deep yet gentle voice of a colossal man as he looked out upon the ocean blue. Dark eyes, small and beady upon his squared yet pallid visage, stared absently ahead as the world around him rippled with the sounds of the waves against the hull and the wind at the sails. A swan figurehead that looked a tad worse for wear pointed its bill at the outline of a strange island basking in the mid-morning rays of a brilliant sun.

“Land ho! Land ho! Land ho~!” a boisterous squealing looped. A shock of auburn on a figure barely three-and-a-half feet tall pranced along the deck, beaming wildly and flailing short arms. Another silhouette, abnormally tall and draped in a long flowing patched-together gown, simply stood and watched as lengthy, dark grey hair billowed like smoke in the breeze. Slightly crooked yet once beautiful features seemed distant, lost in thought.

“It’s about time,” bellowed another, this time from somewhere above. Eyes looked up. From the topsail, sliding down the rope, came a sleek and more regularly sized individual dressed in tattered off-white shorts and various bandages, body painted with myriad lines of pink flesh. Down the dark-haired damsel danced, ignorant of any rope burns before–

“Big Sister?” queried a man’s voice. “Are you alright there…?” In worn shirt and trousers that had by far seen better days, a blond man with ever-so-slightly uneven stubble upon his face waltzed out of the ship’s cabin, raising a somewhat concerned eyebrow as his green eyes settled upon a woman prone upon the timbers.

^“Nnn…”

^{“Really? You do surprise me,” he replied:
“What appears to be the matter?”}

As he approached, the ‘Big Sister’ in question rolled herself supine, arms spread as chocolate eyes gazed up into the crystal blue sky. Beside her, she left a rather strange blackened imprint of her face’s outline within the woodwork, from the edges of which radiated unearthly ruddiness. And as she rolled, he could have sworn he caught a glimpse of something red fading from her skin.

^{“Lecter…,” she muttered.}

^“Mm?”

“Why is it so hot!?” Grimm-Rosa Scarlette cried out, flailing upon the floor. “I feel like I’m gonna melt…” Perspiration visible in abundance upon the fair woman’s body, complexion rouge due to the sweltering temperatures, it was made clear days ago that the so-called ‘Red Terror’ could not endure tropical heat. And every day since, she had continued to complain…

Darkness, an unending void of nothingness and despair all around, the sky, the floor, they seemed to merge into the same block of nothingness which was the dark. This is a place that people fear, that fuels nightmares and punishes those to what feels like an eternity of nothingness. There was one spot of light, a beam focused down into one point. In the middle of this beam of brightness where the light shone upon the blackened floor to reveal a slightly less black patch was a female, well two females.

The most striking sight was that one female in her red and black kimono was covered in chains, wrapped in a white metal and forced to her knees, each arm was covered in a separate white chain to the shoulder and were pulled outwards, bolted to the floor. From her chest a chain protruded as if it was wrapped around her hear and extended out into the darkness where another form stood, a visually similar woman. All aspects apart from the hair and eyes were the same, where the chained woman had her hair long, flowing and eyes of a dulled golden colour the next figure had eyes filled with a shimmering golden flame, her hair was short in comparison to the golden locks the covered the floor as it only reached this forms shoulders. It’s colour however, was striking white with blue tips.

“Cheska, you’re free! This Scarlette woman killed Aiken, promised to be a sister to you!” The blue tipped lay said, the black mask that sat upon her face opening and closing its toothy maw to show the pretty mouth that was behind it when words were spoken. “You need to wake up, any longer and she will notice, she’ll come and make it hurt again.” Her words almost turning into a whisper as she spoke, the mere mention of this other being causing fear even in her own heart.

“I-I can’t, not yet… I can’t help but feel trapped.” The chained Cheska muttered, looking up to see the world around them, dark, looming as if it was holding them in. “My arms are heavy… body sore. I’m happy Scarlette is helping and Lecter and Sweeney… but it just makes me feel more trapped.” She said, soft tears rolling down her cheeks, dripping off and hitting the dark floor below, causing it to ripple with white light through the entire mind-space that this was. With each ripple of white light, the fiery eyed one shivered and shook, looking visibly agitated and scared like a beast before it would strike out.

“No please don’t cry! Scarlette promised to help us get home! To Drum!” Vizard announced, pushing the message through to the chained one. With the next tear to hit the floor the darkness shifted and shimmered showing a monochromatic image of a snowy island, of herself and a male who looked like her spitting image as children.

“Home… Victor-” Cheska stated, being cut off by a rumble of the world around them. The masked one shifted and backed away as quick as she could, the chain that linked their hearts going taught and tugging on them.

“YOU’RE NOT READY TO GO HOME!” A third form walked out from the darkness that had returned, it had the same proportionings as Cheska, though it was wreathed in shadows that shed from it like a thick and dark mist. “You’re not whole. You’re weak! Pathetic, Alone and a burden.” Each word caused the pair of women who were connected at the heart to shiver and shake, the booming voice shaking the world with each word, but left no echo. “Cheska you rely on Vizard, on the monster too much! I keep saying you need to solve your own problems.” The shadowed woman turned it’s attention to the masked on. “And you.” It spat.

“Stop intervening, stop pining for her love and safety, she is a big girl and can do it herself.” The words hit the white haired ones form like a Thu’um blowing her to the floor with an unrelenting force. “Cheska. Wake up, life is a foot and your body is healed. You’re ready to do this on your own.” And like another shout brimming with force the words hit Cheska making her sit up.

The scene had changed, the darkness was replaced by a ships cabin, the booming voice was now waves and the shouts of the ‘crew above.’ And that feeling of tugging on her chest was the weight of the mask placed upon it. “Wh-where am i?” the woman asked, her forehead covered in a light layer of sweat and a rag, her hair tied into a long pony tail and her clothes replaced… she was back in her kimono. (permission to have Sweeney across the room ready to cut some hair?)

[The Prettiest Squish]

Her eyes opened to the sight of a small white room, lacking in much provisions aside from the bed she lay in. There sat a clock on the wall opposite of her whose hands she could not properly see due to her distance from the device. It was then that she noticed how stiff her body was. When the woman attempted to make a move, the muscles in her neck, arms and legs all froze and shook rigidly, holding her back. 

The only form of movement granted to her were the range of her eyes; soul piercing and frigid as a winter's night, they were as cold and cruel as the cobalt they were carved from. And with sight as her sole sense to perceive the new world she had entered, she ceased merely looking at her surroundings and began to observe them. 

In the left corner of her vision, there stood a tall window overlooking a vast landscape lush in green and vibrant flora. Off in the distance she could detect the slightest indication of a coastline and the blue-emerald waters that receded after each wave. Atop the ocean, she recognized the silhouette of a naval vessel heading to the shore but found that was all the information the window to the outside world had to offer her. 

Next, she looked to her right and noticed something that piqued her interest far more than the outdoors did: a clipboard with marks visibly written on them. They were hardly legible though, most likely having been written from a doctor with a penchant for cursive in their inferior hand. Nevertheless, medical details of her occupation here were most intriguing to discover and if she could just turn her head around to view the profile, her questions would be answered. Questions such as, where was she? What was this place? And the most important,

Who am I?...

“Oh, come now, big sister,” Lecter retorted, offering a hand which was eventually accepted. “None of us are exactly fond of this sea, either, as I’m sure you’ve already fathomed. Compared to Nemo, these are torturous temperatures. Voorhees and Krueger agree, seen as neither of them have come out from below deck yet. But fret not, land is on the–” The gentleman’s silence permeated the atmosphere, freezing him mid gesture as he had unveiled an invisible curtain with his arm and turned to face the isle ahead. Said land was now approaching a tad too quickly for anyone’s liking, prompting but two words to escape the normally talkative sir’s mouth.

^{“Oh dear…”}

Scarlette’s eyes looked to the rapidly approaching docks, then up to the mast of the Ascendant Swan. The mainsails, still at full, rippled fiercely in the tropical winds. There was no time to lower them. Bolting, she made for the wheel, both hands grabbing tightly as she mustered all of her strength to turn.

^{“Myers,” she called:
“Drop the anchor!”}

“On it,” the goliath replied. But despite his impressive stride across the deck and his Captain’s best efforts, the craft collided with the port. A great cracking, creaking and rumbling echoed outwards. Civilians and harbourfolk watched in equal parts awe and fear as the vessel crashed, prow carving its way into the timbers of the dock before bucking wildly from such drastic changes in momentum. The whole ship, though not that big all things considered, somehow managed to flip nose down, tossing its crew about.

One… Two… Five bodies of variable size tumbled and rolled – one even bounced a couple of times across the docks. None had ended up in the water and, as far as they were aware, the others were still in the ship’s confines. Safe, but probably in need of getting out as soon as possible. Ignorant of the dozens of onlookers, Miss Grimm-Rosa gave each of her siblings a quick glance and – after noting everybody was okay – turned to look back at the shipwreck.

Just in time.

Mere inches from where she stood, the vessel’s mast dropped like a felled tree and cast a white veil over the recovering bodies. Five lumps in the snowy fabric resembled children’s Hallow’s Eve costumes, though none lasted very long. The largest bump shuffled along, Myers emerging from beneath the sail, and soon thereafter followed Billy, whose grey hair and gown barely made much of a difference to her phantasmal figure. The smallest protuberance vanished and reappeared a few times before Chucky emerged at Billy’s flank, leaving the two more normally sized ghosts standing…

The room was different, vastly different from what the woman was expecting to see. She had a bed, a bedside table and some one sat very close by with a smile on her face that would make children run in sheer terror. Sat on a chair looking down at the woman who was just sitting up was Sweeney, one of the few people that this ’Big Sis’ had in her entourage. “Where are you? ter be precise you are in a bed on 'he ship we 'ook 'o ge' away from 'he loony bin! where 'ha' ship is exac'ly... well i don'' knah” The woman explained as she brushed Cheska’s knee length golden hair. In her hands, enjoying the feel of it between her long slender fingers, not looking to the pale woman’s face.

“O-oh… W-w-well that’s not good?” Cheska asked as she looked to Sweeney, propping her weight on her arms and feeling the damp rag fall from her forehead and onto her lap. “W-where is everyone?” She asked quietly letting her soft voice gently caress Sweeney’s ears.

“Oh 'hey are upstairs steerin 'he ship. They seem 'o be 'avin fun.” The other woman replied as she started to bundle Cheska’s locks of gold up into a pony tail at the shoulders. Her motions were soft and gentle and she was really taking her time to let her fingers slip through all the strands. “I can cu' your hair nah righ'? you promised i could when you were safe.” Her eyes seemingly growing bigger and the look that is commonly known to be done by puppies was adorned by the frazzled looking one.

The golden eyed one nodded slowly… “Y-yes… however you want to…” She whispered closing her eyes and turning ever so slightly so it was easier on Sweeney. “I’ve never had a haircut.” The woman said with a smile and a hint of excitement.

“SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE~” Was all that could be heard from the frantic hairdresser as she reached to the side to grab a slightly rusted pair of scissors and put them to the base of the pony tail. “I’ll 'ake i' up 'o 'ere by 'he end… bu' i jus' wan' 'o star' choppin an' cu''in away a' 'he bo''om! tha' is 'he funnes' par' af'er all.”

Then a lot happened at once. There was a sudden lurch in the ship and Cheska fell back whilst Sweeney fell forwards, the hair that was between the two blades was sliced away. Then the ship tumbled and crashed into the island throwing the pair of women around the cabin like bouncy balls pinging around a small room after being thrown at full strength. When all was said and done Cheska was lying under the rubble of a few items, a mattress and chair being one of them. Sweeney had a mass of hair in her hand and a pair of scissors in her other as she sat against the porthole and the mask… that was by her feet.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” The demon barber screamed out in pain… all that hair, that potential… RUINED!

Medical Notes: Patient is suffering from multiple third degree and second degree burns and massive trauma to the head with a possible concussion; infection has spread from untreated wounds, extreme possibility of broken bones all across the anterior of the chest and fractures in the left arm; Update: infection has somehow since been completely treated after only five days, bones remain to require further healing but majority of trauma has been treated. 

Doctor's Note: Patient has been comatose during her entire stay but is advisable to keep her sedated in case of any self-harmful movement. Periodically check up on patient status every 8 hours.

All these words, all this medical mumbo jumbo offered no information she could not have ascertained simply by staring at her own body. What was her name? What was she doing on this island? What had she done before to end up in such a miserable state as this? There were far too many questions that the girl would not find answered in this hospital bed. She needed to move. And she would not let anyone stop her. Not even herself.

"Hnnnng...C'mon, you worthless sack of shit. Mooove!?" The nameless girl tugged at her arms, sweat already leaking from her pores. A sharp sting shot up her left arm and she remembered the report from the clipboard beside her. "Fractures? Are you serious? I can't be that weak!" She resumed using every fiber of her strength to lift the stiff rods of flesh even an inch off the soft cotton sheets. Her teeth bared from the stress it took to move them and the air in her chest went flat as it took all matter of concentration for this one simple task; she could not afford to waste her energy on something as trivial as breathing!

"Almost...There." She began to feel something pushing her elbow against the fabric, no, it was her elbow pushing itself off the surface to lift her hands higher and higher. "Come...on...you...ass!!" The sensation was roaring up inside of her now; an endless stream of pain rushing down her nerves with each tick of her hands' minute movements. She stared back at the clock for barely a second. Hardly a minute passed since she finished reading the report. But it didn't matter how much elapsed, time was on her side and she had all day to gain control of her body. "Just...a little...further." Even her own voice felt rejuvenated, being able to string up more than one word at a time. But it was not over yet. 

Closer and closer the bandaged palms of her sore arms arrived. They were but a foot away, she blinked and then they cut the distance in half, two blinks and they were so close she could taste them. She closed her eyes and relaxed her breathing then felt the touch of two stiff mitts land on both of her cheeks. "Took you two long enough...Didja miss me?..." She felt the cool of water on her fingernails dripping down her bandages.

“What in the Boss’ name is going on here?” yelled a male voice, deep and gruff. Grimm-Rosa Scarlette could only just hear it, still it was enough to provide direction to this disorientating world of white canvas. Nearby, she felt movements in the sail – Lecter’s movements judging by his last position.

“Ship crashed,” Myers’ voice droned.

^{“I can see that, big guy,” the stranger jeered:
“Are you the Captain of this here shipwreck?”}

^“No.”

“Then which one of you is?” By this point, the subject of the man’s query was on the move, though not in the same way that the others had escaped the veil. Fingers pierced the fabric with ease, creating holes that allowed her to grip the material firmly. With all her strength, she tore a gaping rift in the white, allowing the tatters to fall at her sides and expose her once more to the elements. The blaring rays of the sun made her immediately regret her decision, but she did not attempt to return herself to shelter, instead casting her weary gaze towards the ship.

Cheska, Sweeney, Voorhees, Krueger… They’re all still aboard! Her assessment bought a moment of panic to the Red Terror’s visage, though it was somewhat short lived. No sooner had she gone to take a step towards saviourism than the demonic bellow of a distraught Miss Todd emanated from the vessel’s every orifice. That alone was proof of the well-being of at least one of the missing siblings. Well, if Sweeney’s fine, then the others should be alright too…

^{“Oi, you!” yelled the voice:
“Are you the Captain of this ship?”}

^{“Huh…?”}

“You heard me, now answer me!” He was a moderately sized male, tanned and dressed in a white shirt, grey suit jacket and trousers and with polished black shoes upon his feet. A Trilby upon his head shaded his already dark eyes and hid his short, blond hair. He was a little on the portly side, though not terribly so, but scattered about him were a half-dozen burly men in similar wear, with the addition of dark sunglasses. “What’s the matter? You deaf or something!?”

^{“Oi, Myers,” Scarlette said:
“Can you go find Sweeney and Cheska?”}

^{“Mm. Sure.”}

^{“Thank you,” she added:
“Oh, Voorhees and Krueger are–”}

“Oi! Stop ignoring me! And you,” the gentleman bellowed, drawing something from his pocket. An immediately familiar sight – a flintlock pistol which he flicked the hammer of and pointed right at Myers’ back. “You aren’t going anywhere until this is sorted, capisce!?” Myers ignored the man, simply following the request of his ‘Big Sis’ and walking nonchalantly towards the edge of the dock. The others watched with a similar level of boredom and nonchalance and, in Chucky’s case, impatient bounciness. The suited sir growled, finger squeezing.

[The Prettiest Squish]

The nameless girl felt her legs quaking from the slightest strain put upon them. She had managed to move to the side of the bed and hung her lower body off the cliff but kept them dangling off the floor as if the tiniest bit of contact would spell her doom. Her hands were now fully in her control after only a few minutes of stretching but her legs resisted to answer the call. The girl stared down impatiently at her bandaged thighs and pursed her lips, clearly unhappy with the predicament she was in. Wake up, kiddies. Mommy has to go walking. So hurry up and get off your lazy asses already! 

But the internal rant was to no avail as the soreness in her legs persisted to keep her down. So instead, she looked to her hands and began to scrutinize every little detail to find in those delicate, slim fingers. The first thing the woman noticed was how flexible her control was, as if the person who she was before used them nimbly on a daily basis. She twirled them with whimsy, wove and weaved waves with graceful finesse; the girl's wrists meshed with the motions then the wrists and then the shoulders. Soon enough, both arms were entirely captivated by the flow of dance and the nameless damsel found herself immersed absolutely in this spiral of stupor. 

The limbs waltzed about the room, with such lightness and grace, they floated off the air itself and bent with even the most modest of breaths. In that moment, she felt liberated by any pain present in her body. There was no soreness or discomfort holding her back; only the pure bliss of practicing poetry in motion with the utmost elegance. She never noticed that her eyes had gone dark or that she was conducting the dance through pure instinct alone, as if the maiden's muscles were accustomed to such a ritual. She only imagined the grand stage she commanded: a great stadium of brilliant reds and radiant oranges swirling around her with the thundering roar of trumpets and strings playing to her every gesture. In that moment, she was free, truly free, until the very second she decided to open her eyes.

The nurse stood in the doorway with a dazed look in her face. A metal tray with two needles sat comfortably in her hands. The clock ticked and tocked and ticked and tocked seemingly for an eternity. Both women stared at each other; one through wide auburn eyes and the other through callous sapphire ones. "Y-you're awake..."

The dance ceased and the nameless performer grasped her hands on the side of the bed still staring intently with her cold blue eyes, "Are you disturbed?" The nurse took a small step back with a nervous smile on her face and chuckled at the inquisition. She regained her composure and slowly marched towards the patient. "Disturbed? Oh no, sweetie, I'm just here with your medicine." She reached for one of the syringes with her left hand and stopped dead in her tracks at the girl's next words, "The infection was already treated. That is no medicine."

The nurse's face froze for a mere second but served as proof that the patient knew what was happening. "A-ah...But this is a new prescription the doctor thought you should need! You're in quite some pain, you see! This will help to take some of the - " A swift open palm greeted the nurse before she could speak any more lies. The girl bared her teeth like a wild animal and her eyes formed into the shape of daggers aimed straight for the medical agent's throat. "Take one more step and you will regret it."

Tick.

The nurse raised the needle and squeezed out an air bubble at the tip before looking to the patient with a dreadful grin on her face, "Like I said, dearie, it's only medicine." Her foot stepped forward and the bitch in bandages screamed with visceral rage,

"GET AWAY FROM ME!!"

The walls turned sideways, the clock flew through the window, the clipboard shattered against the door and the bed adjacent to hers soared to the wall where the clock once hung. The nurse sat crumpled in the corner with the vision of death engraved in her eyes. "W-wh-wha-what are you?..."

Without a word, the witch stood on her own two feet and marched silently towards the defiant coward. Her legs shook violently as she kneeled to meet those death stricken eyes. Blue met black and the woman whispered with a gravely serious tone,

"I am Death, destroyer of worlds."

The bullet flew. But the bullet did not hit flesh. It took a few seconds – a few long, disturbing seconds – before the gunman realised what had become of his arm. At first his eyes merely widened, his skin turning pale. And then he screamed, a piercing scream of agony. Twisted behind his back in a way that the human body was not designed to accommodate for, his gun arm’s wrist was currently wrapped in the fingers of the dark-haired demoiselle, barrel of his pistol pointing for the skies above.

“Shush! It’s only dislocated,” Scarlette said, smacking a knuckle of her free hand into the man’s temple, bringing his howls of pain to a stop. Rather, he simply whimpered, unable to gather any words to retaliate. His men had finally caught themselves from the shock of what they had just witnessed – a woman who had, at least to their eyes, vanished from one spot only to reappear at their charge’s rear. They moved, diving towards her.

She released her victim; he stumbled forwards, arm limp.

^{“Not really in the mood for this,” Miss Grimm-Rosa muttered:
“It’s way too hot here and I’ve got better things to do…”}

^“B!tch!”

“Look, guys… I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but it’s not getting you anywhere. I’d be more concerned about him than me,” Big Sis did say, her intonations lethargic and matter-of-fact. For every word that escaped her lips, at least one mighty punch connected with her bandaged body, but to no avail. It was wasted effort on their part, though there weren’t about to realise it quickly, and so she was making a point of announcing the most catastrophic flaw in their attempt: “Because unlike him, I’m not feeling anything.”

^{“Wh– What?”}

“Mm, she has a point, gentlemen,” Lecter announced.

“Shut– Ack! Shut up! Somebody help me!” cried the ringleader, drawing the aid of two of his men away from pummelling and towards medical inclinations. The rest had broken into a sweat in their fruitless attempts to make the woman regret her actions. The time between swings was rapidly increasing and laboured breathing was becoming a mainstay. All the while, an already horribly scarred example of a human was standing there enduring without issue, while Myers took the plunge and boarded the sinking Ascendant Swan in search of the two men and two women who were still somewhere aboard…

Moments had passed since the ship had been parked inside of a few buildings and on dry land but to Cheska it felt like hours, the time had passed in slow motion and she was in a daze from hitting her head in the toss around that happened in the chaos. “uurrrrggghh… Miss Sweeney, what happened?” The woman managed to say as she started to open her eyes to the mess that was the medical room she was in. The brightness of the column of natural light slowly diffused as he eyes adjusted and the blur of objects started to focus around her.

The shell shock slowly stopped and to replace it was the soft sobbing of Sweeney who was slumped over to the side holding long locks of golden hair in her hand. “The haaaaaair!” She wept out, her tears falling onto the mask that was by her feet. The woman sniffled as she realised Cheska was coming too and locked her eyes on the amber eyed woman. With a sniffle she looked at the situation. ”Te ship run ’ground an it m- m- made me cu’ it all off.” She muttered between small sniffles.

Cheska nodded as she was coming too… then she realised something… her mask wasn’t in her hands anymore, nor was it within reach. A panicked feeling washed over the kimono clad lady as sense of true terror gripped her mind. Her eyes narrowed, here breathing sped up in short shallow breathes and sweat began to form on her brow. “Wh-where is it?” She asked, letting her eyes dart around the debris filled room. “Where is my Mask? My Vizard… she can’t protect me… where is she?!” the panicking lass began to question.

In the corner of her eye, behind Sweeney the darkness shimmered, it shook and a form stepped forth. “No no nonono.” She began to panic, clawing at the bed that was pinning her legs to the floor in a vein attempt to push it away and free herself. “Get away!” she screamed at the top of her lungs, a high screeching that ripped at her own throat. In the moment and with a massive heave the bed was launched at the hull, smashing the posts to pieces and cracking the hull. “I need the mask! Give it to me please! Sweeney help! She’s going to kill meeee!” The fearful shouts turned to pleas as tears streaked down the face of the woman.

The raggled woman saw naught of this… her own tears dried as she watched Cheska melt down and toss a bed at the hull with the strength that she saw the masked persona use when they first met. At first the words were not reaching her, the confusion that was being caused made her blank for a moment. Then she looked down, in front of her was the cracked and slightly tear marked mask that had landed by her. “This thing righ’ ‘ere?” she asked, picking it up carefully and standing awkwardly on the slanted room. “'Ere…” she said cautiously.

The panicked Cheska saw the shapeless form of darkness heave another step closer, beyond her companion’s form and she backed up, pressing herself to the wall, almost clawing at it. “Y-yes.. please!” She said trying to hold her hand forward, the chains dangling from the manacle that was still firmly connected to her wrist. “GET AWAY!” She screamed out again, slamming the hand that was reaching out into the wood behind her making a sizeable hole.

Sweeney flinched at the scream and saw the look in Cheska’s eyes change from pure fear to a terror that radiated out from her. In the moment the woman swallowed and lunged forwards, pushing through the darkness that she could not fathom and pressing the mask to her troubled companion.

The moment the mask was against her body a hand snapped to it, taking it with considerable force and placing it to her face. In that second everything changed, the aura of terror vanished as a deep inhalation was taken by the masked Cheska. “Calm now Fairy Blue. Thank you, Sweeney.” The mature and in-control voice stated as Cheska’s body stepped forwards and looked down into Sweeney’s hand. “I’m very sorry about the hair, when it’s grown out a gain you can cut it more.”

The sudden sound of creaking wood as it was ripped away could be heard from where the bed smashed into the hull. A large hand forced its way through the cracks Cheska had created in her panic and ripped away planks in one great heave that made the wood scream away. “Found them.” Myers’ voice rang out from above as he looked into the hole he had made to see the pair standing awkwardly in the mess.

The room was as silent as it was before the incident. Birds could be heard chirping through the open window and the monotonous rhythm of the clock's metal hands played silently in the background. Her bed was unkempt, as any bed should be after a violent tempest of momentum. The girl looked down at the corner and saw the nurse had fainted from the episode. Whether it was faked for her own safety or a condition of genuine shock was no matter of concern to the patient; she was free to leave and that was all she cared about. 

Without the adrenaline of anger fueling her every movement however, the woman's stiffness kept her from mobilizing as openly as she preferred. There were certainly improvements to her sense of corporeal control but the connection kept the patient from wandering too carelessly. But eventually she managed to grasp all five fingers around the door handle and opened the threshold between this realm and the next. "All I need is a doctor to fix this mess and I should be good."

What she saw instead when she opened that door was the sight of a dozen men armed with tranquilizers aimed straight for her. "Oh."

"Fire!" 

Through sheer instinct, she brought her hands to her face and turned her gaze away from the armed medical personnel. This was it, she thought. This was where she would remain forever, as a sedated doll for these people to analyze and study. Would she ever discover who she was or why she came to be? Well the lack of any tranquilizers making contact with her skin appeared to answer her questions. 

A puzzling look overcame the men who stood with empty cartridges in their hands. The woman opened her eyes and uncovered her face only to see the darts floating around her head like some adulterated halo of cruelty. "What in the fu-" A single dart shot out from the circle of sedatives and marked the speaker right in the throat.

The men watched as their compatriot fell to the floor in a daze and then looked to the patient with their weapons at her disposal. "Um...hands up?"

“Good work, Myers~!” Grimm-Rosa Scarlette called, hearing the goliath’s announcement. Still the suited thugs continued to assail her, but now they were starting to realise the futility of their efforts – the lack of influence they were having upon her. At about the same time, the sound of splashing caught her attention; a scrawny clawed hand reached up and latching onto the docks, accompanied by the dull grumblings of Krueger’s unmistakably sleepy voice.

^{“You know if you die in a dream,” he moaned:
“You’ll also die in the real world…?”}

^“Buhur!”

“No! Wait! If you do that–” Crack! “–AAAAARGH!” The stranger’s pained screech confirmed one thing. His comrades had set his arm back properly. O, ‘twas a feeling she had experienced on more than one occasion, but Scarlette could not help but feel a little sad that it was something she could no longer feel for herself. “How… How the f*ck… Is she not yet a bloody pulp?”

“Well, good sir,” Lecter said, face suddenly so close to the mobster’s own that both he and his men were startled: “Our ‘Big Sis’ is something special. It was a sacrifice she did make for our sake; that she may no longer feel pain. Mild discomfort? Excruciating agony? Neither extreme will faze her. Her sacrifice did not go in vain, for now we are free. We, the likes of whom she labels her siblings, are free from an eternal torment. And now, our ‘Aneki’ shall show us the–!”

^{“No!” Lecter’s audience interrupted:
“Just. No! No singing! Capisce?”}

^{“Well, how rude!”}

“Oi! Nobody gets to interrupt Lecter’s singing but me! Cat peace?” Miss Grimm-Rosa barked, drawing the mobster’s eye. The remaining force of his men were all on the ground, catching their breath after wasting much of their energy. There, having not even shifted an inch, the woman stood with hands on hips and chocolate irises glaring intensely. The target of her eyes shivered and paled. “Now, shoo!” It didn’t take much more than that, surprisingly. Scurrying and scrambling, the short suit made a mad dash into the town, men in tow as he yelled something incomprehensible…
