As Lilin walked off Syphalia stood beside her quartermaster as he continued his lax attempt at fishing. Or it seemed that way to her at the very least, he did very little, and caught not terribly much. Though Arlen had often rebuked this opinion of hers, stating that it was a game of time and patience, that had variable results when they were so far out in the open waters.
With a soft frown as she watched the newest member of the crew head off. Her eyes watched curiously as she did her best to consider what she'd said moments ago. "That seemed like a positive answer." A level of uncertainty slid through her voice but she nodded at the feeling as if to confirm it for herself. "Seems so." The quartermaster responded in an offhand manner.
Picking her way over to the fish she reached about grabbing it by the tail to haul it into the air. "Guess I'll take this downstairs ... Good job Arlen." The quartermaster nodded in response his attention held barely by the rod that was growing taut once more.
Stepping into the main lounge having dealt with the catch of Arlen's she looked about. The quartermaster it seemed was still up on deck fishing, but others were still in the room. Gyato and Kitty stood about the kitchen hard at work with preparations, Max sat at the table reading his book, and Del, actually Del wasn't in the room probably up to his usual business in his own room. "How's it going?" She asked glancing over at the pair hard at work.
"It'll probably be done in a bit. Needs another twenty minutes or so and then a few other preparations." Gyato responded taking a quick look at Kitty for confirmation. The nun turned to look to Syph and nodded her agreement at Gyato's estimation.
"So has she found something she wants to do?"
"Seems like it? Apparently Arlen was very helpful for her to figure it out."
Syph responded to the question with a smile. The quartermaster was very reliable in these sorts of situations. "Huh ..." Maximillian responded with a shrug. The swordsmith scratched her head as she settled down in a chair at the table as well. "Max can you go get Del and Arlen?" She said with a glance at the deckhand.
"Now?"
"Preferably. But I guess we don't really need them for another twenty minutes or so?" The deckhand scratched his chin and then nodded confirmation that he'd do it. "I'll grab them when I finish this chapter." He said lifting the book in his hand slightly.
"Alright."
