“Trying to get a read on me? Ayahaya! You’re wasting your time.”
Personality
~~~~~
This old woman exuberates an air of tranquility and wisdom every time you see her. She has a deep spiritual belief in a divine energy that she calls The Creator of All Things, and this deity blesses her with the mindset that everything is as it should be. Nothing can go wrong in the eyes of Noone because The Creator is always guiding every action and only allows certain situations to pan out as either a gift or a learning lesson. Having experienced very terrible days in her youth and the vast majority of her adulthood, the rogue kunoichi has unwavering faith in The Creator’s steps – so much so that she can maintain a peaceful demeanor in the face of any hardship.
Noone is a very friendly person. She would smile and greet anyone, regardless of what they do or have done. Her non-judgemental and forgiving nature stems from the notion that she was once the worst type of person, yet The Creator still accepted and forgave her for the sins she had partaken in. If one could do it for her, then why shouldn’t she do it for others? She’s the type that would selflessly help anyone in need, without hopes of receiving anything in return, and her loyalty goes a very long way. If you show yourself to be a compassionate, hospitable person, Noone would go above and beyond to express her graciousness.
Appearance
~~~~~
Noone is a woman of fairly tall stature, but by no means anywhere near the ridiculous heights that many human beings stretch up to. Her hair has become the color of pure snow in her venerable age and is kept in a long, thick-braided ponytail that reaches down to her hips, even when hanging over the front of her shoulder. Tawny, orange-brown skin is the color that wraps around her thin and well-built body that is lacking in wrinkles – a result of the moisture of her element – giving her a younger appearance than one would expect of a seventy year-old woman. Cat-like, sea-green irises pry from a heart-shaped profile that displays soft feminine features that trail down into a tapered, pointy chin.
Despite distancing herself from her past life as an assassin, this old maid is still very much a kunoichi at heart – at least in terms of martial arts practice and clothing preference. She most commonly wears a black, backless, sleeveless undershirt with a dark azure long-sleeved shirt over top of it that she tucks into a white sash around her waist. Black leggings and lightweight black shoes adorn her lower half, allowing for agile, stealthy movements. Noone also wears a white neck warmer, which she uses to cover her face when the need arises. Considering the fact that she doesn’t go on many ninja-esque escapades anymore, the Vapor Woman usually dons it when the weather is actually a bit cold or whenever she gets serious in a fight.

Misty-Misty Fruit
Logia-Class Devil Fruit
D-Class (600 XPz)
The way this ninja puts her Logia-Class Devil Fruit to use is the way most Logia users do. Taking full advantage of the perks that come with being a living mist, Noone transforms in order to achieve things in the likeness of flight, letting assaults phase through her, slipping beyond locked barricades and also to simply pass for a cloud of mist as she does her covert, ninja thing!
Aspect #1: Super Density
The Vapor Woman is capable of making her mist so thick that it can be used to interact with things as if it were a solid! Compressed clouds can absorb impacts, grab hold of objects and even ensnare people in thickened plumes of vapor. Due to the Moya Moya no Mi’s element, densening the vapor naturally causes condensation, allowing Noone to create clouds that begin to rain once the earth’s gravity takes its course on the conjoining water molecules!
Stringed Soul Style
Pinpoint Finger Strikes
D-Class (200 XPz)
A style that revolves around precise finger strikes to the nerves and other tender parts of the body. Practitioners are trained to attack with blinding speed to catch opponents off guard and leave them further defenseless upon success.
Aspect #1: Shigan
Noone has developed powerful fingers throughout countless hours of masterful usage of the Stringed Soul Style, enabling her to easily pierce fleshy targets with nothing but a single finger! Like Shigan, the injury left behind is akin to a bullet wound – or a hole equivalent in size to the amount of fingers Noone used to strike.

I. Heavenly Pulse Killer
Stringed Soul Style
Rank 1 (50 XPz)
A technique that uses the index and middle fingers to percuss and block off the nerves in an opponent’s body. This often makes one feel as though they lost the affected limb as it goes limp and is unable to be controlled by the victim for a period of time.
II. Heartless Fang of the Divine
Stringed Soul Style
Rank 2 (125 XPz, Free)
Utilizing her inconceivable finger strength, Noone brings her digits together, extended outward in a spear-like fashion with her middle finger being the needle-like point. Shifting all of her weight into the tip of her spear fist acquiesces enough destructive force for the ninja to plunge her arm straight through an opponent’s body! Known as Noone’s ultimate signature attack, many hearts were stolen and lost to this skill of legend!
III. Shadowless Flight
Stringed Soul Style
Rank 2 (125 XPz)
A high-speed movement technique administered much like Soru. It is nigh untraceable to the inexperienced eye, causing most observers to believe Noone has teleported whenever her body flickers from sight!

A Past Shrouded in Mist
~~~~~
This ninja’s foregoing is not a history she likes to recollect. It is a tale of emotionless bloodshed and familial traditions that eventually lead a woman given a beautiful name to start going by a deviation of the words “no one.” Her face and birth name scratched violently from the surface of the world as they were, her lore clung heavily to the generations of Karate Island. Actions thicker than a bloodstain on white cloth refused to be removed from the minds of those involved – and even went as far as to impose itself on those who weren’t. Undying as her anecdote may have been, like many folk tales, it received a bit of over-the-top flair to add to its entertainment value or to serve as a scary story in an attempt to keep the unruly in check. Many versions of the Mist Ninja known as “Heartless” Noone have been told, but this is the undiluted truth of the legend that few admire, some fear and most don’t even believe actually existed…
Born into a ninja clan whose name was forgotten by the ongoing flow of generations, Noone was conditioned to be a blank assassin from the earliest point of consciousness she can recall. Everyone apart of her clan was raised in the same way. There were many children born around the time Noone was that took part in the martial lessons of their clan’s fighting style, the Stringed Soul Style. It was a martial art that never employed the use of a foreign object to the body as a weapon, for it was their ancestors’ beliefs that such a thing slowed one down. With a style that revolved around the knowledge of pressure points within the biology of not only humans, but animals and other species as well, they were never needed if the practitioner were sufficiently skilled.
Noone was prodigal amongst her peers. The only times she tasted the fang of her inherited martial art was from the sting of her masters – who decided she needed daily beatings to strengthen her body and resolve, as well as to let her know who her superiors were. Despite the displays of dominance that were asserted onto her, the young ninja still grew to show outclassing accomplishment with the Stringed Soul Style that her masters never achieved. By the time she had reached her late teen years, her body had developed a tremendous amount of power, and that – coupled with her expertism – gave birth to the strongest fingers her clan had ever witnessed! Noone had went beyond simply stifling the nerves to puncturing holes in her victims’ flesh! It was around this time that the icy ninja had forged her signature of punching holes in her prey’s chest and snatching their hearts out with nothing but her bare hands! As much as her masters were impressed by this potential, her daily punishments still ensued. In fact, they had increased in measure. Her rulers’ egos couldn’t stand the thought of their “killing machine” backfiring on them. However, their methods had worked greater than they possibly even knew. No matter how great of a thick-skinned fighter and assassin Noone became, she knew who to fear… And who to never raise a finger against.
Her obedience and excellence in the role she played for her clan didn’t come without its rewards – even if they were given with selfish intent that only furthered her masters’ goals. One of her controllers got their hands on a Devil Fruit, one of which they were told was a Logia by their sources. They saw fit to give it to the greatest of their loyal assassins to further increase her power and effectiveness on missions. It was after Noone had consumed this Devil Fruit, called the Moya Moya no Mi, that her masters’ plans became evermore lofty. With a Logia-Class Devil Fruit that turned Noone into a living vapor, they pushed her into mastering the basic usage of the power before sending her out to kill some of Karate Island’s most prominent figures. No one ever saw her coming; no one ever saw her leaving. Those in the vicinity of her targets only knew that the nights of the tragedies were unusually foggy. Aside from that peculiarity, officials that investigated the murders only had one thing to link them together and that was the fact that every fatality had a hole going through their chests and back; their hearts torn out and nowhere to be found!
Once the body count started including more public figures, a few people reported catching a glimpse of the ninja fleeing the scene to which the marines were, then, hard-pressed to get involved. From the information they were able to gather thanks to an anonymous tip, they simply had a picture of a hooded woman wearing a mask concealing the lower half of her face drawn for a bounty poster and dubbed the assassin, “Heartless” Noone. Settlers from all over the island thought it was a cruel joke of the marines in charge. To distribute a bounty poster with no actual picture of someone who they thought the government was calling “no one,” people believed they were saying a heartless no one of the commoners’ imagination was doing all of the killing. Be that as it may, someone involved in the kunoichi’s clan had leaked information about Noone’s alias and visage. With high-class citizens of Karate Island feeling threatened, the marines increased their activity in the areas of the island’s elite, where they would soon have an up close and personal encounter with their latest public enemy.
One night, as the vapor assassin headed out for her next target’s heart, another ninja from her clan appeared before her in the woods. After a short exchange of words, her clansman removed their mask, revealing themselves to be an older woman. The lady claimed to be Noone’s mother and revealed the young woman’s true name to her; the name that she gave her the day of her birth. She went on to tell her that the ways of their clan were evil, trying desperately to convince her daughter to leave the life behind and disappear from Karate Island with her. Even with being kept apart from her mother and conditioned since early childhood, the revelation hit “Heartless” in the chest like a tribal drum. For the first time, she actually felt the ice box behind her bosom thump. A stranger to the feeling, the Vapor Woman stood motionless – her mind shocked from the erudition and foreign sensation in her body. Seeing this, her mother closed the distance between the two of them to embrace her in her arms, but they locked around nothing but air and mist. Noone transformed and blew past her forebearer, running off into the thick of the night with the older woman crying her real name at her back. Fleeing as fast as she could to escape the sound of her mom’s voice, the echoes never seemed to cease, even when the Mist Ninja made it all the way to the town of her mark.
As if mother nature knew Noone would be on the prowl that night, a heavy fog blanketed the island, making the task of getting past the patrolling marines all the more easier for the matured ninja. Her target was of an aristocratic family – one well connected and not without their suspicions and fears of superstitions. Everyone knew that when the smog rolled in, the Mist Ninja was out sniffing for blood. “Heartless” could’ve been anywhere, attacking anybody at any given moment. For that reason, to ensure the safety of their entire household, the wellborns employed a captain of the marines and his squad to guard their estate personally.
It was nothing for the Vapor Woman to slip in unnoticed, as usual, but the inside of the house was heavily guarded. After knocking a few marines unconscious, the safeguard was alerted to the assassin’s presence in the manor. They began checking every room – multiple times if they didn’t spot anyone, just in case the intruder appeared there in the passing time of the security scouring elsewhere. Noone was in the room of her target; a silk stocking that was only but the young offspring of the two nobles that owned the estate. The heads of Noone’s clan wanted to do away with their child in order to send a message.
Approaching slowly, the ninja stared down the girl with icy, green irises, preparing to steal the child’s heart in one deliberate blow, but before a move could be made, the marine captain exploded into the room. He attacked the assassin with a cutlass, forcing her body into mist form, unveiling the knowledge that the marines were dealing with a Logia-Class user. Unluckily for the captain, he had neither the power – nor the time – to figure out how to overcome Noone’s ability. The Mist Ninja began an assault on the government dog that he struggled to defend against, pressuring him with swift movements and powerful strikes until she was able to land two consecutive blows that disabled both of the man’s arms. Following the captain’s disarmament, the Vapor Woman sent the marine hurtling through a wall and down into the courtyard of the mansion with a kick to the side of his head, where many of his troops found his unconscious body lying battered and bruised.
At the same time Noone turned back to her scorn, a woman ran into the room, pleading for her daughter’s life. Rushing into the corner that the young girl had curled up into, the matron wrapped her arms around the youth, gripping her in a tight hug with tears streaming down her face. Witnessing the two, Noone’s own mother’s voice began ringing in her head again; a crackling, sorrowful tone shouting her name the same way as back in the forest earlier that night. The kunoichi started to hesitate – her eyes uncharacteristically glazing over with liquid before a myriad of heavy boots were heard trampling down the corridor outside of the room. They charged into the sleeping quarter, armed to their teeth with rifles, blasting off at a fleeing host of cloud that took flight out of the hole in the wall created by the marine captain’s body. The woman and child were spared. It seemed that the conditioning of a cold-blooded assassin was no match for the power of a mother’s love.
Regardless of abandoning her mission, Noone returned to her clan’s village, reporting as if she had done the nefarious deed given to her. Her masters easily called out her lie for the fact that she didn’t bring back a heart to present as a trophy, like she had always done for many years. Appalled by the action of their once loyal assassin betraying their trust and orders, they decided to bring another disloyal servant in front of their greatest kunoichi to make an example of. This person was none other than Noone’s mother. Her plans of mutiny were discovered, and the clan heads saw this situation as the perfect moment to get their Logia killing machine back in check. Things wouldn’t transpire in the way they had hoped however. As soon as Noone’s mother was executed right before her eyes, the Mist Ninja snapped, lashing out at her masters! The fight spilled out into the streets of their settlement – the clan heads alerting every other ninja to commence in an all-out assault on Noone. Per contra, “Heartless” slaughtered them all while engulfed in rage and pain until not a single member of her clan existed besides her.
The kunoichi disappeared from the blood-soaked village, never looking back or returning at any point of her life beyond that night. Swept up in heavy heartache and depression, Noone tried to end her own life shortly after the large fight with her clan, but every time she attempted to slice her throat or plunge a finger through her brain, she would subconsciously turn into mist as if clinging onto the will of life. This spiralled her into an even deeper well of depression, for she couldn’t even kill herself to find release from all of the atrocious acts she had committed. She ended up going into solitude for decades upon decades, struggling to cope with the melancholy her mind and soul were ridden with. At some point in her sixty-ninth year, she came across a monk who ran a temple on the island and told him that she wanted repentance for her sins. He introduced her to the knowledge of The Creator of All Things, and informed her that even the most sinful could receive forgiveness and acceptance from the omnipotent being.
So, the old woman requested a small jar from the monk – one that was air-tight – and asked that he seal it behind her entering in mist form; never to open it again under any circumstances. It was her own way of paying off the “debt” of her actions while spending time alone to get to know The Creator. She planned to live her remaining days in the jar, fasting and gaining enlightenment until her vaporous body was at its limit. A whole year passed, and all the while, the monk had held up his end of the bargain, leaving Noone’s jar on display in front of his shrine. It had become quite the attraction, for the monk was a rather playful man and told tales of a cursed soul being trapped inside – one that should not be released, for it would begin to slaughter everyone as it once did in the age past. It was his little way of keeping people from prodding at the jar out of curiosity, and once she had gotten in touch with her own sense of humor, a story Noone had enjoyed silentious giggles of whenever she heard it.
With a Logia-Class Devil Fruit that turned Noone into a living vapor, they pushed her into mastering the basic usage of the power before sending her out to kill some of Karate Island’s most prominent figures. No one ever saw her coming; no one ever saw her leaving. Those in the vicinity of her targets only knew that the nights of the tragedies were unusually foggy. Aside from that peculiarity, officials that investigated the murders only had one thing to link them together and that was the fact that every fatality had a hole going through their chests and back; their hearts torn out and nowhere to be found!
Once the body count started including more public figures, a few people reported catching a glimpse of the ninja fleeing the scene to which the marines were, then, hard-pressed to get involved. From the information they were able to gather thanks to an anonymous tip, they simply had a picture of a hooded woman wearing a mask concealing the lower half of her face drawn for a bounty poster and dubbed the assassin, “Heartless” Noone. Settlers from all over the island thought it was a cruel joke of the marines in charge. To distribute a bounty poster with no actual picture of someone who they thought the government was calling “no one,” people believed they were saying a heartless no one of the commoners’ imagination was doing all of the killing. Be that as it may, someone involved in the kunoichi’s clan had leaked information about Noone’s alias and visage. With high-class citizens of Karate Island feeling threatened, the marines increased their activity in the areas of the island’s elite, where they would soon have an up close and personal encounter with their latest public enemy.
One night, as the vapor assassin headed out for her next target’s heart, another ninja from her clan appeared before her in the woods. After a short exchange of words, her clansman removed their mask, revealing themselves to be an older woman. The lady claimed to be Noone’s mother and revealed the young woman’s true name to her; the name that she gave her the day of her birth. She went on to tell her that the ways of their clan were evil, trying desperately to convince her daughter to leave the life behind and disappear from Karate Island with her. Even with being kept apart from her mother and conditioned since early childhood, the revelation hit “Heartless” in the chest like a tribal drum. For the first time, she actually felt the ice box behind her bosom thump. A stranger to the feeling, the Vapor Woman stood motionless – her mind shocked from the erudition and foreign sensation in her body. Seeing this, her mother closed the distance between the two of them to embrace her in her arms, but they locked around nothing but air and mist. Noone transformed and blew past her forebearer, running off into the thick of the night with the older woman crying her real name at her back. Fleeing as fast as she could to escape the sound of her mom’s voice, the echoes never seemed to cease, even when the Mist Ninja made it all the way to the town of her mark.
As if mother nature knew Noone would be on the prowl that night, a heavy fog blanketed the island, making the task of getting past the patrolling marines all the more easier for the matured ninja. Her target was of an aristocratic family – one well connected and not without their suspicions and fears of superstitions. Everyone knew that when the smog rolled in, the Mist Ninja was out sniffing for blood. “Heartless” could’ve been anywhere, attacking anybody at any given moment. For that reason, to ensure the safety of their entire household, the wellborns employed a captain of the marines and his squad to guard their estate personally.
It was nothing for the Vapor Woman to slip in unnoticed, as usual, but the inside of the house was heavily guarded. After knocking a few marines unconscious, the safeguard was alerted to the assassin’s presence in the manor. They began checking every room – multiple times if they didn’t spot anyone, just in case the intruder appeared there in the passing time of the security scouring elsewhere. Noone was in the room of her target; a silk stocking that was only but the young offspring of the two nobles that owned the estate. The heads of Noone’s clan wanted to do away with their child in order to send a message.
Approaching slowly, the ninja stared down the girl with icy, green irises, preparing to steal the child’s heart in one deliberate blow, but before a move could be made, the marine captain exploded into the room. He attacked the assassin with a cutlass, forcing her body into mist form, unveiling the knowledge that the marines were dealing with a Logia-Class user. Unluckily for the captain, he had neither the power – nor the time – to figure out how to overcome Noone’s ability. The Mist Ninja began an assault on the government dog that he struggled to defend against, pressuring him with swift movements and powerful strikes until she was able to land two consecutive blows that disabled both of the man’s arms. Following the captain’s disarmament, the Vapor Woman sent the marine hurtling through a wall and down into the courtyard of the mansion with a kick to the side of his head, where many of his troops found his unconscious body lying battered and bruised.
At the same time Noone turned back to her scorn, a woman ran into the room, pleading for her daughter’s life. Rushing into the corner that the young girl had curled up into, the matron wrapped her arms around the youth, gripping her in a tight hug with tears streaming down her face. Witnessing the two, Noone’s own mother’s voice began ringing in her head again; a crackling, sorrowful tone shouting her name the same way as back in the forest earlier that night. The kunoichi started to hesitate – her eyes uncharacteristically glazing over with liquid before a myriad of heavy boots were heard trampling down the corridor outside of the room. They charged into the sleeping quarter, armed to their teeth with rifles, blasting off at a fleeing host of cloud that took flight out of the hole in the wall created by the marine captain’s body. The woman and child were spared. It seemed that the conditioning of a cold-blooded assassin was no match for the power of a mother’s love.
Regardless of abandoning her mission, Noone returned to her clan’s village, reporting as if she had done the nefarious deed given to her. Her masters easily called out her lie for the fact that she didn’t bring back a heart to present as a trophy, like she had always done for many years. Appalled by the action of their once loyal assassin betraying their trust and orders, they decided to bring another disloyal servant in front of their greatest kunoichi to make an example of. This person was none other than Noone’s mother. Her plans of mutiny were discovered, and the clan heads saw this situation as the perfect moment to get their Logia killing machine back in check. Things wouldn’t transpire in the way they had hoped however. As soon as Noone’s mother was executed right before her eyes, the Mist Ninja snapped, lashing out at her masters! The fight spilled out into the streets of their settlement – the clan heads alerting every other ninja to commence in an all-out assault on Noone. Per contra, “Heartless” slaughtered them all while engulfed in rage and pain until not a single member of her clan existed besides her.
The kunoichi disappeared from the blood-soaked village, never looking back or returning at any point of her life beyond that night. Swept up in heavy heartache and depression, Noone tried to end her own life shortly after the large fight with her clan, but every time she attempted to slice her throat or plunge a finger through her brain, she would subconsciously turn into mist as if clinging onto the will of life. This spiralled her into an even deeper well of depression, for she couldn’t even kill herself to find release from all of the atrocious acts she had committed. She ended up going into solitude for decades upon decades, struggling to cope with the melancholy her mind and soul were ridden with. At some point in her sixty-ninth year, she came across a monk who ran a temple on the island and told him that she wanted repentance for her sins. He introduced her to the knowledge of The Creator of All Things, and informed her that even the most sinful could receive forgiveness and acceptance from the omnipotent being.
So, the old woman requested a small jar from the monk – one that was air-tight – and asked that he seal it behind her entering in mist form; never to open it again under any circumstances. It was her own way of paying off the “debt” of her actions while spending time alone to get to know The Creator. She planned to live her remaining days in the jar, fasting and gaining enlightenment until her vaporous body was at its limit. A whole year passed, and all the while, the monk had held up his end of the bargain, leaving Noone’s jar on display in front of his shrine. It had become quite the attraction, for the monk was a rather playful man and told tales of a cursed soul being trapped inside – one that should not be released, for it would begin to slaughter everyone as it once did in the age past. It was his little way of keeping people from prodding at the jar out of curiosity, and once she had gotten in touch with her own sense of humor, a story Noone had enjoyed silentious giggles of whenever she heard it.
