{Appearance & Personality}
-Personality Traits-
Alignment: A Thorny Chaotic Neutral
ThornyTsukihi is probably best described as thorny. She has a sharp tongue and she uses it as the first line of defense. She is cold to those she meets rarely having anything good to say to them. But she is fine with being blunt with people and will do so without batting an eye. Tsukihi can often be a little violent through her actions, though she doesn’t mean harm, that often.
Yandere TendenciesTsukihi is a possessive person. She guards what she holds dear deeply and is often on guard when people say that want to even borrow something that she values. As it comes to those people whom she keeps around this can go to almost yandere-ish levels with threats and calm speech while holding her knife.
Self ConsciousTsukihi is very self conscious about herself. How she talks and converses with others. She is often in her own way trying to control how others think specifically about her but also somewhat in general she tries to manipulate them. Not that she is particularly good at it, but often what she says is thought about and the words are picked carefully.
DiligentTsukihi is a diligent person, careful and precise in the way she does things. She thinks through her choices and plans accordingly. When she is actually given orders that she’ll listen to she is deliberate in her completion of them. Trying to accomplish the task quickly and to the best of her ability. She does not tarry for most things preferring to get them done before than later.
Do it HerselfTsukihi is often constrained by the idea that she needs to show her own strength. She is preoccupied with being able to stand on her own two feet and thus dislikes having others help her. She will never ask for help and will often deny others the option to help her. She tries to stay out of the web of favors that often surrounds her. She is thus guarded against others who try and appeal themselves to her.
Virtues: Diligent, Loyal, Self-Reliant
Vices: Self-Conscious, Abrasive, Possessive
Fears: ???
-Physical Traits / Appearance-
Height: 6'1" or 185 cm
Build: Lithe Build
Eye Color: An Almost Greyish Purple
Hair Style: Straight Black Neck Length
Ethnicity: Japanese
AppearanceTsukihi is somewhat stoic upon first meeting. Her face is often unemotive and hard to break down. She simply waits, watches, and surmises a lot without showing much feeling in what she is up to. For this reason she is often referred to as a tundra of emotion, quiet, cold and devoid of life.
Somewhat simply built, she has a thin frame. Her body is square, with arm-span being equivalent to her height. Tsukihi often stands tall to emanate some of the confidence that she can lack at times. Due to her devil fruit ability she doesn’t seem to have many muscles upon her body, which is mostly incorrect. She has a strong core and limbs from her regimen and training. Not that any of this tends to be visible, Tsukihi is quite conservative in what she wears. She consciously chooses to wear clothes that cover the majority of her body. What is seen is often just her hands, neck and head. Though she will sometimes simply wear casual clothes for their simplicity, Tsukihi is often caught wearing a hakama of dark blue-shade. It may look tight, but she wears it often and is able to freely move about in it unhampered. She has a few duplicates of this hakama which she constantly keeps well kept.
Apart from this she has a particular preference towards a red jacket with a zipper that she keeps about. It has a fleece layer about the collar area for extra warmth. Tsukihi’s weapon, a dagger of medium length is often hidden in the top of her hakama horizontally across her spine. When wearing normal clothes she has a sheath for it that latches onto the hem of the pants. It’s a little lower but she fairly easily adjusts to it. The hilt points to the left as she is left-handed.

-Inventory-
TsuchibueA small six-hole clay flute, Tsukihi’s tsuchibue is the only instrument that she plays. It's exterior is painted a dark blue with minimalist white designs placed atop. She often plays this to pass the time and almost always just for herself.-Skills-
Non-Combat Skills
MusicTsukihi is a fairly good musician, she only plays the single instrument of the Tsuchibue that she owns. She is a good singer as well though its not something she practices as much as the instrument. She stylistically goes for calmer sorts of music with a quiet often melancholy to them. It's more relaxing to hear than anything else.
Rogue-ish SkillTsukihi's main line of work has garnered quite a few skills that have a more unsavory flavor to them. She is skilled at picking locks, working windows open and the like. She is a decent pickpocket and is practiced with sleight of hand.
AthleticsTsukihi is very good at both gymnastics and parkour. Even without the abilities her fruit gives her she is capable of scaling walls and making precision jumps and the like. She is quite dexterous on the move.
Combat Skills
Uncanny Balance - Human Trait #1Perfected over her many years of work as a rogue, Tsukihi has an impeccable sense of balance. Her control over her center of gravity pays off in being able to make quick recoveries even in the middle of the air, something she has a lot more experience with recently.
Lightfooted - Human Trait #2Like her sense of balance Tsukihi has learned through years of practice how to step barely making a sound. Her feet are placed softly upon any surface without disturbing much of anything. Even on snow she makes little to no footprint.
Night Eyes - Additional Trait #1Tsukihi has practiced hard to improve her observation skill often in the middle of the night when most of her work goes on. After so much time her eyes have developed to function better in the night. She can see in the dark as if it was normally light out. However under the full light of the sun her eyes hurt more than a usual person.
Balloon Human - Devil Fruit TraitThe Balloon fruit morphs Tsukihi's body in many ways. She generates a lighter-than-air gas from within her which comes out of her mouth, wounds, and generated opening upon her body. While inflated she is capable of floating and gains an immunity to blunt attacks. Finally she can generate and is immune to electricity-based attacks.-Fighting Styles-
Puku Puku no Mi
D-Rank Paramecia DF400 X-Poinz (225 Free X-Poinz)
The Puku Puku no Mi makes Tsukihi into a Balloon Human. Her body through generation of a lighter-than-air gas can inflate itself granting her immunity to blunt attacks and the ability to float into the air. She is immune to and can generate electricity. When an opening is created on her body this gas will spew out in a gust of wind. She finds most of this quite useful for her rogue-like work.
Tsukihi's combat style is a combination of techniques she learned from two different masters. The first aimed to practice the redirecting of the opponent's momentum turning their power against themselves. The other focused on a flexible yet firm stance making quick striking attacks from the outside. They combined a little oddly for her, but she often switches between focus on one or the other. She prefers small quick movements in combat rather than large powerful ones.
Weaknesses
- General DF Weaknesses
- Due to the fruit’s reliance on being able to keep themselves inflated, puncture wounds are especially dangerous to them. Even small wounds due to the sudden change in pressure can cause the wounds to rip open much wider and are an excessive danger to the user, more so the more inflated they are.
- While deflated the user really only has the resistance to electricity and the ability to build up static upon their body. Especially if they are wounded and can’t keep the gas in their body they’ll be unable to regain their powers until the wound is patched up.
- High levels of pressure if not dissipated can lead to something even more dangerous than pointy weapons. As it builds up the gas will put pressure on the user’s whole body. When at a breaking point it can cause the user’s skin to be shredded to pieces as the gas breaks free.
Aspects
Jiintogeki: Numbing Strike, by vibrating her hand slightly she generates static electricity on her hands which when she attacks numbs her opponents nerves, not allowing them to feel how much damage they've taken.
WeaponCombat Dagger
Rank 0 KnifeTsukihi’s weapon of choice is a combat dagger that she often hides in the back of her hakama. A short steel blade about a foot long it has a dual purpose in it. While the forward face of the blade is a sharp edge, the back of it is serrated on the top half and slotted close to the hilt to catch blades and divert them. The hilt is short only enough for a single hand, there is a small wrist guard to cover her hands and a thick butt for her to reinforce with.
TechniquesHikou
Rank 1 Technique - 50 X-PoinzBy closing her mouth Tsukihi is able to inflate her body and start to float into the sky. She doesn't have much control of the ability at the moment.
Kaminari

{History}
Youth (0-8)Tsukihi was born on the island of Zaisho in the Grand Line. As a baby she was left to an orphanage on the outer edge of the island. For much of her youngest years of life she was a loner. She didn't congregate much with the other kids at the orphanage. Most of the girls were too preoccupied with looking pretty or playing with dolls, and the boys too used to wrestling and rough-housing for her tastes. Her single friend among the children of the orphanage was tomboy by the name of Karen.
Initially meeting due to sharing a bunk, Tsukihi didn't initially get along with Karen. She seemed to energetic and was exhausting to be around. But eventually she warmed up to Karen and they started a fast friendship. And though Tsukihi spent much of her free time in the measly library of the orphanage and Karen spent much of her time outside playing with the boys the pair stayed close for most of their younger years. Their bond only finally wavered when Karen was adopted from the orphanage along side a handful of the other children who had reached the age of ten. With Karen's departure, Tsukihi was truly alone in the orphanage with no friends to speak with. Not that she minded, she was often content to watch the others, observe their habits, and do her best to understand the world about her. Still she was quite sad that Karen had been chosen while she had been left behind.
Alone (8-10)While without Karen, as the children grew slightly older, Tsukihi quickly became the target of bullies at the orphanage. The bullying came from both sides however the boys were much more troublesome. The name calling and shunning of her from the girls barely bothered her, it was the physical trouble from the boys which endangered her often. She quickly learned how to run and how to hide. Lithe and nimble she wasn't originally able but overtime learned to evade the boys who moved more clunkily than she. For all this she could never fight them, she had neither the strength nor the skill to actually wrestle them off. So her life was notably troublesome for the next few years.
Adopted (10)At the age of ten, Tsukihi was adopted just as Karen had been two years past. She was not alone, a trio of the boys and a pair of girls came with her. They were taken from the orphanage deeper towards the capital of Zaisho. At the capital she entered a large stone building which was nominally a restaurant. Going through the building she was taken with the other children to the back and then underground into the basement. They were soon joined by other groups of children all of a similar age to them. The multitudes joined together into a group of thirty or so children.
She alongside the other children were then lined up in a large cavernous room. With minimal light only shadows on the edge of the room could be seen. But they were told what was to become of them. Some would become thugs, some pick pockets, and others rogues of a different nature. They were the next set, part of the next year of trainees. Those who survived would become part of the guild yet left unnamed by their captors. There choice at the moment was to partake or die, given the obvious issue with the latter choice every child stepped forward and took on the challenge.
Training (10-15)The training was harsh and dangerous. They spent only a year trying to teach the children the basics after that they were sent on assignments. Stealing a certain amount of stuff, wealth, food, weapons. Finding information, tracking down those who wrong the guild, all of these and more became the daily activity of Tsukihi alongside the rest of the children. Alongside these constant assignments trying their ability in the real world and evading the guards of the capital, they had their own ruthless training. Close quarters combat and skills such as climbing walls, jumping between buildings, and the quick wits to run through obstacle courses with ease all fashioned what children who did survive into real masters of the trade.
For Tsukihi who had spent so long evading boys and learning from books, the physical aspect was perhaps the hardest. She had naturally dexterous fingers and a clever mind and thus quickly picked up the concepts of the work. Her successes bought her better food, and comfier quarters though not much more. Her physical training took much work as well, her running while good for a child was no where near what was necessary. She trained it constantly, often going out on jobs which pushed her limits so she could grow faster. Her diligence paid off as she grew quickly becoming a forerunner in her class in the more roguish arts. Other girls became courtesans, other boys thugs, but she and a select few deepened their knowledge of sleight of hand, picking locks, climbing walls, watching for traps and hidden doorways. They learned young, when they were more nimble and smaller. Finding it easier to slip through small openings.
After five years of training Tsukihi remained, having grown much as she had hit her formative years she was one of the taller members of her class. The final task before her class could graduate was a game of tag so to speak. Facing a real member of the guild they needed to find one as they hid in the capital and get them to yield their sigil to the trainee. They had a week and a single target. Tsukihi for all her skill could not even locate her target until the fourth day. And it took till the sixth for her to track him back to his safehouse and come upon the member unnoticed. Retrieving the sigil she came in in the middle of those who did graduate. Upon graduation she was given her guild name, 'Moon Walker' and made a full member of the guild.
First Job (15)As a full member of the guild she was then emblazoned given the sigil, owl eyes on a dark background with some minimalist engravings atop it. The Owl's Watch they were called, and immediately she was given her first job. The first job was a simple heist, or sort of simple. The task required her to invade the office of a business affiliated with the second strongest family in the capital. For her, this was not much of a challenge, slipping through an open window she made it in with ease in the dead of night.
What surprised her was what she found there. At the desk from which she was supposed to obtain the seal asked for, there was a man. He slept peacefully there his legs propped up upon it. Her senses tensed as she came up to him, care was now the key. Caution and careful footing brought her bit by bit closer to the snoring body. With a deft hand she managed to wheedle open not one, not two, but five different drawers before finally finding what she had been looking for. Pulling out a fake seal as its replacement she quickly replaced the object and made as quickly as she could out the door. Her deception was not made till multiple days later. She knew due to the great uproar that sailed its way through town on that day.
A Roguish Life (15-19)With her success she continued to live the life of a guild member for the coming years. Starting small she took many small missions from the guild's benefactors. She stole goods, collected information, even participated in a murder or two. Nothing large, and generally no one of any real import on Zaisho paid the price. She was, quick, deliberate, and generally a good hire when it came to the small requests. What eluded her in the end was a true mission, one that took time and brains to complete. Long term work which held the greatest rewards. It was two years before she got her first look at one. Another few months after that before she accepted one.
This job sent her to join the Temple of the Four Spirits. It lasted over the course of a year as she started as a trainee and worked her way upwards. Learning what she could of the temple and its pathways she tried to endear herself to the senior monks. In many ways she did not fake what she was doing, she trained with them, endured their diet, practiced all of the traditions of the temple. All for the single purpose, she got closer, and for the most part became one of them. For all this time she listened in, gathered intelligence, and wrote notes that she would hide outside when she was cleaning the temple.
She continued this task for even a year after that as she was accepted to be a fully formed monk of the temple. Tsukihi's skill with a blade was honed here in tradition with the temple's order. Still she proceeded to feed information back to the guild who in turn passed all that was useful to any who might buy it. Her status as a mole became excellent and she continued the job until finally she was found out. Months and months of secrets getting out had caused the Hand of Zaisho to investigate the members of the temple who were in their service. Tsukihi never learned how she was found out, she was so in-tune with her job it seemed impossible to her. But when she was outed she ran, her face so well known among the many who had worked there she knew that she could not stay in Zaisho. The Hand controlled by the most powerful family in Zaisho would not allow her to.
Leaving the sigil of the Owl's Watch at the front of their doorstep she ran for the docks. There were only a few ships that still made port at Zaisho, the rare commodity of having a compass which pointed one to the island was excessively rare. Still she found one sliding into it and hiding in the hold.
Stowaway (19)She stayed in the hold for two days before the ship left. She spent most of that time slipping away from those on patrol making sure that none of them found her. On the last inspection when members of the Hand came she was extra careful, sliding among crates she danced around him with a precise certainty that he could not find her.
Once finally the ship was off she slid from the hold though did not reveal herself yet. Moving about the ship in secret she stowed away in different unused rooms. She stole food in the night and evaded people in general. It was a long and tiresome journey as she couldn't simply announce that she was upon the ship. However for fun while searching crates she found a small flute(tsuchibue). In the dead of night she would walk silently to the deck of the ship and play it. It was quiet and at the start not very good though she improved as she played the songs she had heard by ear. At the same time she ended up starting rumors on the ship that it was haunted. Which in the end made her only continue out of slight interest. The way it freaked out the sailors when she played every now and then did tickle her in the right place.
After weeks of sailing it became quite the hassle as specifically the ship's provisions was starting to run short. She stole less and held herself to smaller meals to try and compensate. Dying on the ship due to the more pudgy sailors were eating too much did not sit well with her.
It was another few weeks of hard malnutrition before the ship finally touched down at Water Seven. She immediately disembarked sliding through the watery channels before stealing enough food and money to survive before disappearing into the back alleys of the island.
Working Abroad (19-22)From the depths of the alleys of Water Seven Tsukihi quickly made a name for herself. Working for different groups in the shadows of the island she made herself an indispensable asset for them. Her experience in the more rogueish traits made her an excellent vanguard for some of the illegal activities working in the background of the islands. It was through this that Tsukihi became acquainted with the larger underworld of black market transactions happening across Paradise. From her work on Water Seven she became well known as an agent of worth capable of many of the more difficult tasks that some might like done.
The only job she took less of was assassinations. As a personal preference she used her combat skills in more of a defensive manner, so while she did take the jobs at times she did try to defer such tasks to ones other than herself. After a while she began taking jobs at other islands on the Sea Train's route. On a job at San Faldo while she was slipping into a 'trade company's' offices and later vault she ended up coming upon a devil fruit. Curious as to what the strange looking fruit was she stole it alongside the item that she had come for. Coveting the fruit for a few days curiosity got the best of her and she tried a piece. As disgusting as it was she threw out the rest of the fruit almost immediately.
Over the next few days she spent most of her time locked up in the room she had procured for herself getting a handle on the powers which suddenly had arrived upon her. The first day she couldn't stop herself from floating to the ceiling of that room. It took two days before she was able to regulate the power enough to keep herself grounded on the floor. Then atop that another week to fully comprehend what had happened to her. Making contact with some of her friends in the underworld she eventually pieced together what exactly she had eaten. Over the next week she reduced the complexity of the jobs she took. Learning how her fruit affected her work she did her best to learn what she could do with it.
Developing her skills over time she found they improved her capabilities in her work greatly. Testing them out in different jobs she found it ended up making it much easier for her to get around without disturbing anything. Though controlling her movement so she didn't crash or knock something over with a gust of gas was a careful skill that she trained with time. It was then that she got an offer from one of the organizations controlling the underworld in Paradise. After thinking it over for a while she accepted the offer.
Underworld Agent (23-29)Her work for the underworld organization Shadow's Reach had her running two different functions. The organization which fronted as a trading company spread out across Paradise and parts of the North Blue. It's tendrils reached deep controlling the movement of certain countries to fit its work. For her part she remained only a minor agent in the organization as a whole. Her handler was only a mid-level member of the organization who had not met the leader or even a member of the executive circle of it.
Her work took her across the Grand Line.
Working jobs from Port West to Sabaody Archipelago she made her presence at least somewhat valuable among the organization. She worked as she did before under a code name, this time 'Moonlight'. As a member of the organization was a piece of many operations which aided in the felling of regimes and the swinging of tides. It was at some points not compelling work, but she did it none the less. She was very aware of the dangers being presented to herself as she delved deeper into the underworld. Connections she made and favors she pulled became her armor. Her influence though small in the organization grew.
Through contact with her handler, code name 'Devils Kiss', she managed very well. In her fifth year with the organization war broke out between Shadow's Reach and a rival organization, the Compass, also set up in the Grand Line. As an active agent she was quickly pulled into the war. While not as an advanced a combatant as some of her fellow agents she still held multiple cat and mouse fights in the city which she made her base of operations. Over time the tide began to swing, one by one the regional headquarters of Shadow's Reach were swallowed up by the Compass. Then finally it crumbled, office by office, agent by agent, until there were only small remains of it left isolated and alone. With none of the hierarchy piecing them together Shadow's Reach died that year.
With the fall of Shadow's Reach, Tsukihi lost contact with almost all of her underworld affiliates save for her handler who had also managed to escape the fallout. Isolated and alone she went into hiding, her former handler turned half-ally the only real contact remaining connecting her to others.
