{Appearance & Personality}
-Personality Traits-
Alignment: An Optimistic Chaotic Good
RevolutionaryHien is a revolutionary at heart, the current world order just doesn’t fit into the ideal of the world that she has pictured in her head. So she has decided to remake it by whatever means she has at her disposal. This first and foremost requires the fall of the current world order, ie. the World Government and all its subsidiary countries and organizations must be taken apart brick by brick if necessary. For the most part her ideology fits in with the Revolutionary Army’s so she’s joined them, but she is not always on the page as they are especially as it concerns islands not part of the World Government.
DIY-erHien is go-getter, get-done-er, do it yourself sort of person. When she sees something she doesn’t like she commits herself to trying to change it. Even if that is something that she’s within herself. Hien is proactive and full of energy and constantly taking steps toward her goals though they don’t always take her in the right direction. At the same time while she is affiliated with groups, she tends to take these issues on by herself. She doesn’t ask for help or often even tell her plans to those she works with. It’s not something she can really justify, she does it on instinct.
OptimisticHien is at times overly optimistic as a person. She sees the good in much more clarity than the bad, at times causing her to overlook problems that she causes and focusing on the positive results. She is not caught in the past, nor does she pay much attention to it or give it much proprietary. It is the future she is heading towards, and which looks so bright. While she isn’t very optimistic about the prospects of the current world she is so about its chances once she’s changed it.
Uncertain of How to Change ThingsHien does not actually know how to cause the world to be reshaped in the way she sees as ideal. She is simply acting, deciding that the better option is to set the slate clean especially in places where she finds the environment particularly bad. To an extent she follows the ways the Revolutionary Army puts out, but she’s known for independent action which conflicts with their actions at times.
FearlessHien is for the most part fearless, this is more due to her optimism more than anything else. She doesn’t believe in things that are unstoppable or inevitable, thus does not find many things worth fearing in the first place. They say that only fools and priests are fearless and Hien is not the latter of the two.

-Physical Traits / Appearance-
Height: 5’10” or 178 cm
Build: Muscular Build
Eye Color: A Dark Red
Hair Style: Long Red Hair Braided Together
Ethnicity: Turkish
AppearanceHien always walks around with an air of unwavering optimism. She has a somewhat brutish manner as she struts about a town. She carries a confidence, it’s built on the her belief that what she is doing is absolutely right.
She would be a lithe person if not for the muscle which lines her body. They enlarge her limbs, thicken and fortify her chest and abdomen. Hien doesn’t display many overtly female traits in her appearance and is often mistaken for a boy for this very reason. Her face is probably the most feminine piece of her. Starting from the top she has messy reddish hair part of which has been grown long and braided out behind her to be down to around her shoulder blades. She has burned red eyes and a sharp nose alongside it.
Hien has a preference for clothes that are of a more athletic flavor. Light, easy to move around in and flexible willing to give her the full range of motion that she has without them. In general her clothes stick close to her body and reveal a lot of skin across her body. There is the occasional furry ornamentation on the edge however most of it is a simple utilitarian dark brown color. She has a red cloak which she wears in colder climates to keep warm. When the revolutionaries require her to be more subtle she does have a gray cloak with a hood though she dislikes wearing it.

NavigationHien is an okay navigator, give her a map and a compass she can make it from one island to the other with a decent level of ease. On the Grand Line assuming she isn’t confronted by some crazy waterworks she can follow her log pose just fine, but she’s not some amazing helmsman.
CookingHien can cook, though she likes her meat a little too raw which disgusts a lot of her revolutionary comrades. She does the same with the rest of her food but in general they don’t find raw vegetables or fruits so disturbing.
Combat Skills
Inhuman Strength - Human Trait #1Hien is strong, just a look at her will tell anyone that, her body is a bundle of muscles easily visible through any close that she's wearing. Making use of this she is able to move large loads with an ease one would never expect.
Inhuman Toughness - Human Trait #2That same bundle of muscle provides a level of protection to Hien that is not afforded an average human. Her body is built and trained for fighting, she has taken many a hit and is quite durable. She doesn't just crumple against any old attack, people need to bring some serious stuff to bring her down for good.
Blazing Heart - Additional Trait #1Hien's fiery passion fuels her body giving her a natural resistance to heat. Not to mention her life growing up on the island of Resinbar in the heat of the sun all the time. She is naturally unfazed by most heat and can stand placing herself in a fire for longer than most.
Caracal Human - Devil Fruit TraitThe Neko Neko no Mi: Model Caracal grants Hien access to full and partial transformations into a Caracal. As a Carnivorous Zoan it grants her great strength and offensive power due to the ferocious nature of the cat. It improves her senses and most of all gives her access to an extreme jumping skill.-Fighting Styles-
Neko Neko no Mi: Model Caracal
D-Rank Zoan DF300 X-Poinz (175 X-Poinz)
The Neko Neko no Mi: Model Caracal gives Hien access to full and hybrid transformations into a caracal cat. Improving her normal combat style is the ferocious strength of the carnivorous zoan. Empowering her strength, speed, senses, and jumping ability it improves her already powerful fighting style bringing a new level of savagery to the fighting.
Hien is a brutal fighter in combat. She tries to chain together powerful attacks into long combos to keep her enemy on the back foot. Her fighting style is quite offensive only taking momentary breaks after such long winded attacks to take a breather then restart. She uses mostly a mix of punches and kicks, and her tail when she is in hybrid form.
Zoan TransformationsFull Transformation
In full form Hien reduces down in size resulting in a slightly oversized Caracal. In full form she is incapable of standing on two legs and is instead placed on all four legs with a tail no less. A layer of tanned fur grows across the entire body. Her head and nose in particular grows outward slightly with whiskers coming out from what becomes a somewhat pointed face. Where her ears once were they are replaced by large and tall ears nearly the size of her head itself. In her full form Hien gains her maximum jumping ability able to launch herself airborn quite easily. Her ears give her greatly improved hearing and her eyes similarly improved night vision.
Hybrid TransformationIn hybrid form Hien grows slightly taller, her body becomes more muscular and a thin layer of tanned fur grows atop it. Her nails turn to claws improving her ability to slash and pierce. She grows a tail right above her butt which she has some control over though it is not truly prehensile. Alongside this her eyes grow golden and improve her vision and her ears perk up above her head like thin flaps. The greatest change physically is her legs grow in strength and in length resulting in her overall taller demeanor in this form. Overall the transformation gives her increased physical capability and a massive increase in jumping capability.
Weaknesses
- General DF Weaknesses
- Hien's improved senses are both a boon and a weakness. High intensity sensory phenomena can easily bother and even temporarily handicap Hien due to the shock of them to her system.
- Hien's tail in caracal form is extra sensitive with many nerves all across it. While this can be useful it also means its a very strong pain receptor, thus its extra painful when the tail is targeted.
Aspects
Raging Blaze: Hien's attacks as they speed up begin to heat her up until eventually parts of her catch on fire. The fire does seem to bother Hien in the slightest, but it does add a fiery aspect to any attack she brings to beat on her enemy.
TechniquesFull Rush
Rank 1 Technique - 50 X-PoinzIn hybrid form Hien bunches up her legs and with the massive jumping power of the caracal launches herself forward looking to slam them with her shoulder.
Quick Rebound
Rank 1 Technique - 50 X-Poinz (F)After landing a punch that gets blocked, Hien reverses about showing her back to her opponent for a moment before arcing her opposite arm about and smashing the back of her fist into her opponent.
Fiery Impact
Rank 2 Technique - 125 X-Poinz (F)Resetting backwards slightly, she pushes off from her haunches slamming all of her weight behind one furiously burning fist.
{Character Relations}
-Family-Take and Hika Tamae - Parents - Hien has a good relationship with her parents. It is more strained with her mom since she left but she loves them nonetheless. Her father has endless pride for her given her decision to leave and join the Revolution that he so believes in.
Kisa + Mida Tamae - Older Brothers - Hie and her older brothers have a typical love-hate relationship with one each other that is often found between siblings. They torture her and she tortures them but in the end it is all in good fun. She loves them dearly and wishes them luck as they start to form their own families back in Resinbar. They feel the same back..-Friends-None Yet

{History}
Youth (0-14)Hien was born in Resinbar to two hard nose parents and the third of three siblings. She was loved, in a fashion that fit the rough lifestyle of the people of Resinbar but loved none the less. Her family were cactus farmers on the outskirts of Vespe Town. The common game when dust devils or sandstorms weren’t on the horizon was for the trio of siblings to play tag among the cacti. Due to remoteness her siblings and her rarely played with any children from the town themselves.
She grew up energetic and feisty, having two rambunctious older brothers definitely helped in this regard. As brothers they were trouble for her in their usual brotherly way. The pair were idiots, not that Hien was much better but they paired together very well. They enjoyed their own form of torture upon her, and in return she played her pranks upon them. Together they maintained their own form of sibling rivalry which likely matched that of other siblings. She grew older as they did. Though in terms of strength she still fell behind her brothers. In turn she trained tirelessly to keep up. In the end however, the numerical advantage held her back from gaining any true advantage.
They had little in terms of academic books or anything to study and thus the siblings were left only to learn from their parents. Given the rural nature of their parent’s upbringing and their own lives Hien’s education was minimal at best. What she gained most from her parents was an ideology. A set of beliefs mostly held by their father about the horror of the World Government. He instilled it in Hien as he did with her two elder siblings. He was in his own way a revolutionary, though his aims and the Revolutionary Army’s were not exactly line and line with each other. Those ideals were imbued in her in much the same way her dad and to a similar effect her mom believed.
Training (15-19)As her brothers did before her, Hien was giving some training by her father. While her mother tended the house the four of them learned both how to run the farm and some basic combat skills. Her father while not great at fighting was fairly known for his brawling nature around Vespe Town. His constant brawls with the younger folk who frequented the town, the fact of his survival spoke to even a basic level of prowess which he showed with combat. It was with that prowess that the three were trained, all three in the rampant brutish combat style that their father enjoyed. It eventually became the basis for Hien’s own style, though she was mostly learning it by sight.
While training it was common for the trio to get in trouble In particular in the face of that trouble their father had a specific way of punishing them .In the night he would put them on his back and walk them out into the desert. Hardy folk as he was he would take them a ways out, multiple miles from Vespe and the Tamae homestead. Leaving them on the ground he would draw a single arrow to point them in the right direction. After that he would return, making his way back to the rest. For Hien this happened at least ten times. The first obviously being the most dangerous as she had no clue as to what had happened. For the most part her trips back were uneventful, the outback was a desolate place, the heat and the dryness were a greater danger than the likelihood of meeting one of the monsters of the desert. Twice she had come upon Travel Lizards, only once did she manage to mount one and ride it a short while before it bucked her off. Only once did she come upon a desert horse. She chased it for a while before giving up. She had one run-in with a pack of jackals, they gave chase and she flight. In the end she fought them off, that time she came home with more wounds than ever before. That time was the last time she made enough trouble to be sent out like that again.
Departure (20)While her brothers ended up deciding to stay in town ,marry and continue the tradition of the Tamae family in their cactus farming industry. It was only her who had been so taken by those proclamations and idealized ranting of her father. So much so that she unlike her brothers resolved to find and join the Revolutionary Army wherever it existed.
With no idea of where to look or where to start she simply decided to head out. Stories connected the army with places, she could follow them there. She simply needed a port to get a heading than perhaps she could find them here.Taking up the reins of a Travel Lizard she headed out, with the strength of their legs at her hand. Immediately she headed out to Porter Town, the only port on the island. The trip took two weeks at the end of which she was nearly starved having run out of food on the journey. She’d nearly come to the point that she’d eaten the lizard she rode. It didn’t come to that and she came to the town with what little she had left to her.
While it was not pretty she spent a few days there before she was able to gather the resources to book passage on a ship. As soon as she could she was off at sea headed to the next island that she’d heard Revolutionary activity being at.
Chasing the Revolution (20)Her first choice of island paid little in terms of results. The Revolutionary Army had been there, but they’d left already. There was a government affiliated with the army but she could gather no information about what the army was doing. She tried to gather what information she could and in the end she was able to find a recruiter left on the island by the army. Upon recruitment she was told to meet with the recruiter at the end of the week. When she met him, she was subsequently blindfolded and led off. Before she had a clue of where she might be going she boarded another ship and was off.
Revolutionary Training (21-23)Upon arrival she was subject to immediate evaluation. It was the same as all the other hundreds of trainees arriving in this wave of new recruits for the cause. Due to her previous training and somewhat due to natural skill she was parceled out of the trainee crowd with another thirty or so members into an special group or so she was told. Her classmates and her were given to a former marine turned revolutionary who had taken up supervision of groups of revolutionary soldiers.
The training was rough even for her, on top of the usual morning routines that all of the normal trainees had to go through, she was forced to do even more. Combat aside the units also had to learn a multitude of different survival skills. For Hien the side skills that they taught were far from the most interesting thing for her. While she excelled in combat more so than the rest of her class of trainees she fell behind in the rest.
It was a mixed bag of good and bad in the end. She was often praised for her combat ability, but her decision making was put into question by the multitude of officers supervising training. Her idealism didn’t fit often with what they thought of. She was named a radical and her position among the trainees was a strange mish mosh. Her strength kept her safe from the others but she was often alone among them.
As part of her training she ran one mission with them as they raided a marine storehouse. Normally a sneaky mission it was all upended by Hien’s brutish manner. In her entrance to the scene she alerted the marines of their presence before it was time. While she managed to help take out the majority of the marine contingent that compromised the mission it was still not a great sign to the officers who looked on at her with concern. Nonetheless her talent could not be ignored and after the years past and her class was prepared to join the army she was also accepted to join with her own honors.
Tournament (24)Just before graduation she was placed into a tournament among the trainees of her class. As the many were defeated one by one Hien rose through the ranks. In a close combat tournament Hien was unmatched within her class. She climbed the bracket defeating classmates and other trainees alike. In the end it was much a formality for while she perhaps didn’t know as much tactics, or espionage as her to-be-allies she was the strongest of the bunch.
Her victory in the end was all but assured. In the final she locked into a full thirty minute bout with her opponent. The fight lasted for a while due to the clever tricks of her opponent or so she would say. But in the end she took the victory locking it up with a long ten hit combo where she beat against her opponent’s defenses until they finally gave in. In return for her victory she was rewarded with an odd looking fruit. Knowing not of what it might’ve been she took a bite in and immediately spit it out to the amusement of her defeated classmates.
It was there that she gained her devil fruit abilities. With her graduation upon her she prepared to be assigned somewhere to start her crusade. Excitement built and in the mean time she trained with her new ability waiting for the day when she could put it to the test.
