{Appearance & Personality}
-Personality Traits-
Alignment: An Arrogant Chaotic Neutral
PridefulPierre is extremely prideful in the things he believes he’s good at. For example his baking, (which by the way is horrible) Pierre is extremely confident about his baking and wants to show the world how good he is at baking. This involves when his baked goods are insulted actually attacking those who have made fun of them. In general he does not take well to being insulted in any form. Jokes will often be lost on him eliciting angry responses. He is known to quickly escalate to attacking those who say anything bad about him.
UncompromisingPierre is a bit overly stubborn. It is part of the reason he is so tenacious or one might think vice-versa. He is unlikely to budge on things he believes even when they are all but blatantly wrong. He is so firmly built upon his beliefs that even with the fact plain before his eyes it is likely that it will take at least a while before his mind shifts. Pierre is uncompromising and does not bend well to the will of others or the world around him.
GloatingPierre is a gloater. He enjoys taking laughs from other people's misfortunes. Unlike someone with schadenfreude Pierre does not necessarily feel malice for the person he is gloating over. Whether it be friends, enemies, or nobodies Pierre will feel free to gloat and make short snide jokes about them when they are down. It is his nature and aids in building his own confidence and pride. When he gloats Pierre tends to stand a little taller and his chest bulges out filled with generally unwarranted confidence.
TenaciousPierre is not the type to give up. He’ll fight till his legs lack the strength to move, his arms can no longer swing a piece of bread and he can barely hold his body to consciousness. Especially when enraged he can be very hard to hold down struggling with all his might to no end. The Bad Baker is not one to mess with, he will hunt those he hates to the end of the earth if necessary.
CommittedPierre is someone who is committed to what he does. When he says he will do something he gets it done by whatever means he has about him. If it's an impossible task he will exhaust all options he can think of before giving up. Even then he doesn't like to give up but even he can see some task is impossible after enough trying. This is probably his most redeeming quality.
Virtues: Committed, Good Cook, Tenacious
Vices: Stubborn, Wrathful, Terrible Baker
Fears: Failing as a Baker, Ants
-Physical Traits / Appearance-
Height: 6'3" or 191 cm
Build: Medium Build
Eye Color: Dull Olive Green
Hair Style: Messy Red Hair around the ears
Ethnicity: Scottish
AppearancePierre's figure fills out his choice in clothing quite well. He has a well muscled body, not overly done. It's visible beneath his clothes when he tries but it is often just slightly hidden beneath the clothes. The Bad Baker is often fairly well dressed, he attributes this mostly to being raised right, though his attitude tends not to support that. He is consistently clean shaven, it takes him less than a week to grow something but he manages to constantly keep it under control. Similarly he keeps his chest, legs, and arms clear of the hair. To some extent this also goes for his hair, though beyond the keeping of it as short he does little to make it look nice.
From top to bottom, Pierre has *cough*soulless*cough* ginger hair, messy and a little poky at times. His face is similarly unamusing, with pale olive green eyes to match his paling skin. In anger the pale olive green brightens but it is only really noticeable in comparison to the old eyes. His skin as it is tans easily, so when he experiences a lot of sun, he often turns multiple shades darker into almost a browning color. Continuing downward he has a penchant for button up shirts, thin black vests, and slacks. They are often dark, of grey or dark green color, pruned, pressed, and nicely done. He wears dress shoes on almost all occasions save for in bed.
Ornamenting his body otherwise are a few oddities. He has a favorite bandanna of orange and yellow which looks strange in accordance with the rest of his clothes but matches his hair quite well. A watch adorns his right wrist, though it has no particular value to him. He has a pair of black leather gloves which he wears sometimes though never while cooking. His final clothing-ish possession is a single white apron, no frills, or anything. His dream is to meet a girl who'll wear it for him. (just kidding)

Pierre's Secret Dough Recipe version 1This is Pierre’s special dough recipe, some of the ingredients will probably make you cringe so I won’t go into detail but the bread that comes out of this dough isn’t particularly good, it is actually quite hard. The stale baguettes made with this dough end up becoming Pierre’s weapons.-Skills-
Non-Combat Skills
BakingPierre is a baker of legendary quality. So terrible is he at it that his bread is known to have adverse affects upon those who consume it. However he enjoys baking greatly and does it constantly though the results are troubling at best. His taste buds and strength of mouth and stomach are thought to be quite odd as he does enjoy his own bread quite a lot. In many ways, his bread is a weapon of unique ability.
CookingPierre unlike his abhorrent ability to bake is actually quite a good cook. A specialist in meats he does a lot of roasting, searing, blanching etc, to make excellent meals. He has a preference for making hearty homey foods that warm the mind and the body. He's easily good enough to open a restaurant but prefers to practice baking and thus for the most point expends his greater ability laxly and to the dismay of those who have eaten his cooking.
Vice AppealerPierre is a lover of his paired vices of smoking and drinking. He drinkers harder liquors of stronger make and mind, often with woody flavors to them as he prefers. At the same time he smokes cigars, he does not indulge in the smoking so much as the drinking but is known to do both often simultaneously.
Combat Skills
Inhuman Strength - Human Trait #1Pierre is extremely strong, muscles built over years of hard work and training are somewhat visible even beneath his layers of clothes. He can lift boulders, and throw baguettes at people like they were shot out of a gun. Run away if he's after you.
Bread Tough - Human Trait #2Pierre's tough to his bones, hours of work and many a fight over someone's thoughts on his bread have built him. Not to mention he is somehow able to eat his own bread without breaking his teeth or jaw or getting an upset stomach which is saying something. His body can take punishment that would put others to their knees, he is if anything bread tough! >:D-Fighting Styles-
Pain Comme Arma
E-Rank Bread Combat0 X-Poinz
Weaponized Bread As a baker, Pierre is in the end not the best. A large amount of his bread comes out hard to begin with, that combined with the fact no one wants to eat it means the bread goes stale. Pierre has found a use for the bread, wielding baguettes similarly to batons to fight. He has some training in this style from his short time as a policeman.
Aspects
WeaponSuprême Vicié Baguette v1 (x2)
Rank 1 Stale Bread - 100 X-Poinz (50 Free X-Poinz)Made with his specialized dough, Pierre’s stale baguettes are quite hard. They are easily as hard as iron, though a little more brittle. They have a sturdiness to them that is like a thick wooden baton. Over time they tend to rot and become worthless at which time Pierre has generally made more baguettes, the ones that don’t get eaten generally tend to replace the old stale baguettes. He generally only uses one baguette at a time but he can use both at once.
Pierre has begun to fashion these especially well for combat. The crust is shaped with serrations that when hardened prick and cut at his opponents as they get hit by them. Not to mention that it is well salted, so any wounds made get some of that salt in it making them sting even more than before.
TechniquesPain Avant
Rank 0 TechniqueA basic lunge attack which pushes the head of the baguette into the enemy. Because of Pierre’s tall stature it has an excellent range.
Pain Punir
Rank 0 TechniqueMore of a joke attack, it involves Pierre slamming a piece of bread onto the top of his enemy's head. Generally used against people who make fun of his baking.
Pain Fait Tomber
Rank 1 Technique - 50 X-PoinzPierre lunges with a baguette forward. The actual intention is to stick it under the opposing armpit of his opponent. Lifting it up he hooks their arm, and angles the baguette under their chin and proceeds to flip them onto the ground for a beat down.
Pain Claquer
Rank 1 Technique - 50 X-PoinzLeaping forward he spins his body in the air. Swinging his body in a circle he slams one baguette down upon his opponent and then the other, arcing them down over his head and onto their upper body.
Pain Tambour
Rank 1 Technique - 50 X-Poinz (F)Whipping both baguette's forward at the same time he slams them both forward onto his enemy with a small delay between them.
{Character Relations}
-Family-The Cote Parents Parents - Assumed Alive - Pierre has an iffy understanding with his parents. He loves them as a son does, but at the same time they don’t get along. Their differences on the understanding of Pierre’s baking has built a void between them that hasn’t been crossed in the nearly thirteen years that he has been away from them.
Alexis + Isabelle Cote Siblings - Assumed Alive - Pierre’s relations with his siblings is probably better than that of with his parents. He blames them little for the slights against him his parents gave in deference to them but all the same he wishes to surpass them. He has likewise not seen the pair for thirteen years but loves them all the asme.-Friends-Gyatto Essem - Assumed Captured - Pierre’s former pirate captain, he has an interesting relation with the man. They are friends, or Pierre would count him as one even though he was basically kidnapped by Gyato. But Gyato has been captured by the marines. There is a little loyalty between Pierre and Gyato, though not enough for Pierre to go and help the pirate captain. He’s not so attached to the man for such a thing as that.

{History}
Youth (0-10)Pierre grew up with his parents on Flat Farm Island. His parents like Pierre himself were bakers. With the plentiful supply of wheat which was grown on the island they were able to keep a good business running. Thus did Pierre grow up in a moderately wealthy family whose means while not limited were not far reaching either. His life was good for the first few years and continued to be like that with the coming of his younger siblings, Alexis and Isabelle his younger brother and sister respectively. His parents thinking that their children would inherit the business began teaching them all the art of baking. Pierre began at the age of six and his siblings began when Pierre turned ten.
Training (11-16)Training was far from easy, his parents trained him hard in all manner of bread creation. While their shop specialized in making baguettes, they also practiced making rolls, brioche, fougasse, pain brie, and many other sorts of bread. Unfortunately it was never something he was particularly good at as they soon noticed. No matter how much they tried he was never good enough for them to reasonably sell his bread in their shop. A certain disappointment for sure. Which was remedied by the fact that both of his younger siblings were superb bakers, at least for Pierre's parents. Pierre indignant about what happened continued to bake on his own, if only because he has a love for the craft and is very prideful in that way.
Concerned by what his parents said about his baking, Pierre turned to the only way he thought he could prove his worth. Create a better bread than had ever been made before by his parents. This started of course with creating his own dough, after a few years of testing different dough recipes he finally found one which he liked. Thus was formed Pierre's Secret Dough Recipe version 1. Which he enjoyed greatly, though to his parents dismay created a piece of bread so hard that they could never even think of selling it. Dismayed and indignant Pierre gathered his stuff and ran away from home. He was sixteen at the time and with nowhere to go hung around the island for a while.
Odd Jobs and Odder Skills (17-20)Doing odd jobs and the like to keep the coffers flowing so that he could improve his true trade Pierre learned many random and sometimes useless skills. A year spent as a policeman taught him much of baton tactics which he quickly made his own. The next half a year had him learn to be a clown, an absolute waste of time if you ask Pierre but he is a capable juggler for what its worth. As work took him off the island he found himself doing all sorts of work, based on his background often employers had him working in the kitchen. Here he learned to cook, bus tables, and wait upon others not that he made a particularly good waiter. In the end it was these jobs that also had him start drinking, though he still firmly believes he's no alcoholic.
Restaurant Ship Host Job (21-23)Carried away from Flat Farm Island by his life, Pierre found himself on a restaurant ship. Though unlike his usual jobs he ended up operating as a host at a host club in the underwater portion of the ship. The section of the ship's bottom which made up the host club was actually made of glass giving it a unique atmosphere. Though not surprised himself, the management was amazed to find that certain people actually enjoyed Pierre's rude and haughty nature. Currying to both men and women alike, Pierre had a small but very loyal fan-base. Unfortunately said fan-base also led to his eventual firing when he got carried away punishing a customer who had an overwhelming penchant for trying to pinch Pierre's ass. Something he obviously didn't take too well to.
Restaurant Ship Job #2 (23-24)His second restaurant ship job came not long after being fired from the first. At the next ship, there was no host club, a straight forward restaurant, Pierre started out as a waiter, but after proving his ability to cook in the after hours was moved to the kitchen. He held a low station in the kitchen but was able to help as he could in the cooking of certain dishes. It was here that he began to build a repertoire of dishes to make. Every now and then he got to try out making his own dishes. Weekly they would have competitions among the newer cooks to try and add something to the menu. Pierre was on-and-off successful given his relative infancy in terms of cooking skill. But after a few months in the kitchen he started to do better, finally getting two recipes onto the menu for a short while. But it was all for naught, as the second he applied with a recipe using his own special sort of bread he was immediately turned out.Raging at their disgust at his recipe he had attacked a few of the chefs with his bread leading to his banishing.
A Pirate's Life (24-27)After being banished, Pierre simply went to sea for a while. It was unfortunate circumstance in the end that led him into his first real encounter with pirates. After the restaurant gig he found some work as a cook for groups making trips from island to island. It was during one of these voyages that the ship he was on was attacked by pirates. While the majority of the ship was simply looted and the passengers pilfered Pierre was specifically taken off ship alongside the pirates. They were in need of a cook and thus it happened. As part of a small pirate crew in the West Blue, Pierre was held hostage for a while forced to cook. But as he started to mingle with the crew he started to get along quite well with them. And after a year of the 'hostage' title being upon him he officially joined the crew. Thus began his legend, though he didn't participate in all the piracy of the rest of the crew, the name of the Bad Baker become one of minor interest in the West Blue. A ginger haired man wielding pieces of bread was hard to ignore.
After a few years of it, Pierre found himself suddenly stranded. As he had been out shopping for ingredients for the next trip the marines had come in and captured the crew, captain and all on the ship. When he came back to the ship to find it surrounded by marines on the lookout he immediately turned about and disappeared back into the town. Thankfully his time had been short and his name not so well known, and thus the first tales of the Bad Baker fell into rumor and myth.
The Baker Begins (28-29)Pierre simply lazed about the island for a short while. Finding employment doing odd jobs to make ends meet he found himself a little uninspired. Frustration abounded his boring life as he stayed in the same place but still he stayed. He worked as a cook when he could though not often and not for long, as his manners were too terrible when it came to dealing with customers. Soon enough when he had a bit saved he headed out to sea once more to travel and build up his baking prowess.
