Personality
Flip a coin. Heads ya lose, tails ya win. Roll a die, and ya got a one in six chance of getting what ya want. Play a game of Fifty Two Pickup and ya got a one in, well ya get the point. He's a gambler, well, not the sort you see with poker chips playing in that casino with the flashing lights and dancing gals. He played in the seedy bar, atop a bar stool hanging atop another bar stool with a glass of Orange Juice rather than the hard liquor the other players got.But a hard life does not equivocally equal a hard as bolts man, he is no downtrodden beaten by life man curmudgeon to the point of cynical grouchiness. He takes life in strides, a smile on his face and that glass of Orange Juice in hand. Well, it's laced with a little Vodka. A lot of Vodka.
It's Orange Coloured Vodka.
Not quite kind-hearted yet not quite cruel, a dash of misery mixed with that splash of flair, all mixed in a cauldron of sad backstory and happy beginnings and what you get is Tlilecuauhtli. He crew are his mates but neither one look at each other with the sort of care where they would take a bullet for each other. No a crew built on the foundation of comradery not love make his crew. He has experienced loss and hardship and has no intention of experiencing it with this crew again.
Appearance
A tanned man no taller than a head above yours or a head below lest you stand as anything outside of the realm of human. He wears far from flashy clothing, his regalia is what stands out his right arm is adorned in heavy metal plate and his clothing is far from the extraordinary. If anything it is exactly that, extra and ordinary. His shirt is a tanned motley thing only made that little bit more extravagant by what he accessories it with, straps and compasses, doubloons and insignia. His pants however sag ever so slightly with a striped pattern of Red and Blue, about the only thing he brought back with him from Skypeia after his self-imposed exile. His face is adorned in a dozen tattoos all made with deathly straight lines and has his head stripped clean of any hair and wrapped with a bandana that holds aloft his feathered headdress. A regal large beak that hangs atop with yellow red and blue feathers al flowing down to imitate the hair he has gone without.
Equipment
(Rank Zero) Dial Shield: A less than ordinary shield, looking like a Giant chipped scale with its upper half bent at an angle, in its center is an emblem of an Eagle’s Skull, jaws unhinged and in its center placed a Dial of some sort or another though covered up with what looks like a gun barrel. Around its side is a series of jagged edges made of the same Obsidian his Macuahuitl was made from.
Traits
Altitude Adaption: Air in Skypeia is thin, and growing up naturally there had lead to an increased stamina and capacity to survive in thinner environments and function just as well in the clouds as he does on the seas.
Inhuman Toughness: As a Shandian as well as raised by someone who utilised Dial’s often, Tlilecuauhtli is an expert in their use, and his body has acclimated to the use of Impact Dials and to an even lesser extent the Reject Dials, making his body tougher and able to endure harsher punishments in combat, though from his experience part of that punishment had been on his end.
Inhuman Swiftness: As a Shadian, his body is naturally acclimated to the higher altitudes, which gives him an increased amount of stamina on which to tap into. However, even on the Sky Island's he was still far more agile than most, but not the fastest, his ability to shift and move between strikes saved him a number of times and through constant beatings has learnt to utilise his capacity for swiftness to its full effect, and even more so when not on Sky Island.
Fighting Styles
The Yyāōquīzqueh: A word of his own design, it serves to be reminiscent of his style, in one hand he holds his Macuahuitl. and in his other hand is his Dial Shield. The style isn’t too complex, run in, get close, slice and dice and if things get hairy, fire off a Dial and use the surprise as an opportunity to get in the few cheap shots needed to end the matchup or run away to live and fight another day.
Dials:
- Impact Dial
(Rank Two)
Background
When he was born, what is there to say? Loving family, friends to hang out with, sure there was that childlike rebellion here and there, but his life was not one destined for the Pirate’s life. They have troubling childhoods, a purpose and reason. To him, life was great and a destiny like that was one he wasn’t hedging on. Until, it all changed. No not when the Fire Nation attacked, but when something arguably more insidious did. The Bubble Head’s dressed in white came rushing in, a mixture of Marine’s and mercenaries following in the track and a wicked smile adorning the trio’s faces. His family was gone on that day, and every time he recalls a cold melancholy rolls over his jaded face and an air of darkness floods all around him.
That's when things took their turn for the worse, the only survivor of it all besides himself was his brother Chimaltli, who afterwards was a changed man. Gone were the days of brotherly love and all that stood in its place was abrasion, cruelty and criticalness reserved only for himself. It was troubling times, where Tlilecuauhtli was off with his friends more often than note, and if not there learning the art of gambling. His family seemed cursed after those days. There wasn’t much sympathy held for his family by even the other Shandians, all but his friends that he had left from the attack. But time rolled on, with society at most thinking nothing of it, preferring to pretend the Bubble Hat’s had never attacked he grew more and more at odds with the White Berret’s until finally a fight exploded between himself and the group, their leader leaving him and his friends a bloody mess and recommending an exile and offering them a ship. He took it without a fight, after the fight he had just gotten out of he didn’t need another.
Of course, Tlilecuauhtli was a petty man to some degree, and considering he knew most of the old laws that Enel had set up, so he and his to be crew grabbed a dozen rare foods, stole from the Dial shop, set up an Impact Dial at the White Berret’s headquarters and threw a dozen curses, middle fingers and moons as they departed Sky island. They had technically already captured a Rare animal, their pet Three Length bird that was away on mating deals. It was far from the most amicable departures that was for sure.
