"Oh, yes, that's Wan. He's some sort of pervert who approached me on the street," Bianca answered back, and left it at that for the time being. "And yes, his constant state of injury was half of the reason I contacted Dr. Saul, if I'm being totally honest."
Yvonne held up her hand, shaking her head. "Wait, no, you invited some stranger onto the ship? Bianca, why... Why did he bring these bodies with him? And where did you get those injuries?"
Bianca's eyes lit up as Dr. Leblanc mentioned the two unconscious bodies on the deck. "Ah, I almost forgot. Thomas, the living fashion atrocity has wire around their right wrist. Check the body for anything similar and remove it, and see to it that both of them are given handcuffs and locked up below deck." The man in question groaned and set to dragging the bodies, one at a time, down the stairs, either oblivious or not caring as their heads bounced off the stairs. She turned back to the silver-haired doctor, waving her hand as if to brush off her concerns. "Everything is fine. Those two were Revolutionaries sent to assassinate me after the shorter one spilled too many beans. The injuries are from the fashion disaster's knife," she held up her "bandaged" left arm, "and the rest of them are from some wire they were using. I'll be fine for right now, though I should change out this grass for some real bandages..."
"I... See." The doctor frowned and gave the bodies a glance as Thomas dragged them off - and suddenly something clicked. The kid with the auburn hair was that boy, Carson, who had bumped into Yan and herself earlier, claiming he was looking for Bianca as well; it seemed like good luck now that neither of them had actually known where the white-haired woman was. She glanced back to Bianca, only to find her walking away toward the door Yan and that red-clothed man had disappeared behind. "Wait, that doesn't answer the question of why you let some creep follow you back to your ship."
"Oh, that's easy." Bianca turned her head to look at the doctor, giving her a smile, as if it was the simplest thing in the world. "He was leading me to find some clothes and got dragged into the assassination attempt. Oh, and I think he can cook, so I might be inviting him to join us."
Bianca left the doctor in a state of even further confusion as she walked in - and her suspicions seemed to be confirmed, as Yan was chowing down on a plate of some sort of food that Wan had clearly just whipped up. "Ah, Yan and Wan." She stopped suddenly. "Your names are very similar, aren't they? Oh, no matter. Wan, what did you make, and is there enough for me to try a bit? Not too much, really, just a small plateful. I'm going to be changing my clothes and wound dressings; please just leave my plate on the table." What had started as a simple question had gotten away from her and turned almost into a series of commands, but the woman didn't seem too concerned as she passed the two men on her way to her room.
