His eyes narrowed at the aftermath of his assault upon the white homunculus. The gelatin-like creature was indeed split apart, only to be fused back into whole. A normal homunculus would’ve been taken out instantly; this was clearly on a different level.
Is it immune to cutting attacks?
Taking a half-step back, Pluto allowed his left arm and right leg to be wrapped around by a pair of the homunculus’ whip-like arms. He took a moment to gaze at the creature’s ability to reshape its body at will due to a lack of skeleton. It was as if he was up against some form of jelly monster.
How annoying; I know nothing about this thing. That bastard actually has something like this up her sleeve.
In a split second, the white long tentacle like arms would be grabbing nothing but thin air as the boy seemingly vanished. Would this homunculus have enough intelligence to recognize him in his animalistic form of a bat? Would it even percieve something so small as a threat?
Based on how it responded to my first attack, it would rather tank attacks head on than dodge. There’s one obvious weakness that it probably has.
After returning back to his human state in less of a second, Pluto stood a few meters besides the white homunculus, facing the humanoid figure directly from a different angle. Without hesitance or any movement required of the remaining of his body, a pair of wings immediately branched out from his shoulder sockets, revealing a pair of large black wings that were completely fanned out for a brief moment before they seemingly blurred out of sight.
Pounce! A powerful, blurring flap of his wings generated a wall of compressed air that spanned nearly six meters across and two meters high. With this technique, he planned to bulldoze this creature straight into deep, distant waters. They were standing right by the docks, and the ocean was within easy reach. A product of a Devil Fruit power such as this would likely not fare well when submerged in seawater. A homunculus was nothing more than a sack of fluid, granting it a lot weight. If nothing else, it would sink into the bottom of the sea, unable to swim back out.

Ara held a finger up to her lips to gesture the younger one to be silent.
I don’t know why, but that woman is definitely after this girl. She targeted Rebecca right from the start, and now she’s returning back to the ship in search for us. I know where she is, but she doesn’t seem to know where we are. I can probably avoid her for a while then.
Rebecca wasn’t entirely sure on what was happening, but if they were trying to be quiet in order to hide, then she decided on where her hiding spot would be. Without saying anything, she dragged the older girl into another room, gently keeping the door closed shut.
They were in Pluto’s room.
Due to how rare Scarlette and her brother interacted, she figured this was where the scythe-wielder would have probably visited the least.
