Orders were made and shade was thrown over choices of sauce and ingredients of a breakfast everything settled and the waitress left with way too much money for this order the group were left with the empty table and a comment from Leona that struck the moment of silence like a hammer, this made the goateed man chuckle as he leaned back in his chair and looked towards the newest pair to this group. This was fast travelling news for the blues, but the islands of the grand line knew everything and in some cases before the event even occurred… The smile on his face did not lessen as he shifted to get into a better position, leaning his elbows on the table and resting his chin in one of his palms.
“You know, that was still slow compared to some islands on the grandline. There news of so many stories spread so fast that It nearly put me out of a job.” He jested, knowing that the world held a vast collection of secrets and stories that needed to be told. From here he could see the outside world in the window behind both Leona and Adrian, the people passing in the streets, the clouds in the sky moving to cover the island and hide the open sky from those below. This was the best spot to be in, both to spot bounty hunters and to quell his inquisitive nature.
“So! I propose we head to the grandline. There are so many pirates like me there that there is no way the marines would be able to pick us out of a line up.” The Hawaiian shirted man insisted as he kept on letting his dull golden orbs shift from the odd couple in front of him to the window and back. Looking for their reaction. Though he did not give them much time before he carried on in his proposal. “I was thinking I could take you on a tour of the best and most wonderful places. Adrian, Wrestlemania. To show you how the pros do it.” He said with a smirk, lifting his head off of his palm.
Quickly shifting his gaze to the gunner whose attention was wavering between a day dream and the current conversation the storyteller gave her an option for an island to visit. “We head to Drum Kingdom… My home. I need to go back there for reasons and I thought that giving you all my backstory there would be the Perfect backdrop.” Navi said with less of a twinkle in his eye than what he said to Adrian, but he knew that Lilly had been wanting this since the day they met… and the others would too by that time.
“Leo, I have a wonderful idea on where to take you, and I am damn exited to go there myself.” He teased voicing his excitement for that particular trip as his gaze returned to the fish woman before him, the tone of excitement he held. This tone quickly vanished as he noticed something odd out the window and got up out of his seat and started to walk out.
“Stay here… I’ll be back before the food arrives.” He said quickly as he walked out of the room at quite the pace.
Out by the beach Bison looked around and was as puzzled as his compatriot… Where was the Angel? She was meant to be here… she was the contact after all… This was not right and going all the way back to the ship was bound to be a pain in the backside and would just get the pair either belittled or at worst punched by Tun-dar and his gloves of power. With out much thought the horn helmeted man turned his attention to Hehewuti and then sighed, knowing she would not like this next part… at all. “SO… If The Angel is not here then we must ask Captain Tun-dar what is to happen now. The fastest way of doing that is with this snail.” The man said, taking a step back and pulling the device out. “Once we are finished with it I will take all technology off of the creature and you can break it! But first we must ask the Captain what we must do!” Bison said as he spun around and pressed a button before picking up the receiver.
Peru Peru Peru. Peru Peru Peru. Peru per- Clacha. The snail chimed, confirming that the other end had picked up. “Hello Angel. I see my competent crew have found you.” Said a man on the other end, his voice powerful and commanding… it wasn’t expecting Bison to reply as he did however.
“Captain… The Angel is not here… The beach is empty.” The man said as he let his gaze fall over and around the area, taking note of everything… including the Chocolate Valentine at the end of the pier. The gang plank was up and not a soul seemed to be on the ship so there was no need to report it. “There is an empty chair and a half-finished drink on the table… Sir I think she ran away from your mighty presence!”
On the other side the man could be visibly frustrated as he kicked a market stall over in one shot making people look on in some sort of confusion “WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!” He shouted, his position in the centre of the village not too far away from his scouting subordinates was now a scene as he looked around for a way to take out his frustrations. “Bison, Bring Hehewuti back with you. We commence the back-up plan when you arrive.” He said with his anger seeping out of every word, enough to make the Helmet wearing man nearly shiver.
“Hey hey! Don’t go breaking stuff for no reason. Apologise to this lady!” An unfamiliar voice to the Thunder Pirates said, coming through the snail. “Get lost.” Tun-dar spat back with venom. Before the stranger could reply again there a massive noise, a blast of noise so loud that the snail in Bison's hand exploded into flame before the echo of thunder bellowed over the island with a mighty crash.
In the distance a man in a Hawaiian shirt could be seen crashing through the thatched roof of one of the houses and was plummeting towards the lake, holding his stomach as he did so, a shared look of annoyance in his eyes towards the man who had just punched him with an unnatural energy.
