It had been a few days since Shandra officially became a pirate. Though somehow it didn't feel like it since she hadn't done any pirate-y things. Sure she kicked a marine in the face, but that was before joining and it wasn't the first time anyway. And it was still going to be a few weeks before they could set off since their to-be ship was still being built. Nothing to do but kill time. And best way to kill time without breaking someones nose was dancing.
Having found a peaceful lonely spot a little off the docks, the dancer stretched her legs in preparation. There would be no interruptions here, especially not from the music-hating vice captain. With the stretches done, Shandra grabbed her pistols to get the start just right and tapped the tone dial on her belt to turn on her favorite song. As the music started, she tossed both pistols in the air, tapping her foot to keep the rhythm and joining the starting high-note in song. Just as the drums kicked in, she leaped to the air to grab both guns despite them being in spinning motion and posing with one barrel covering her eyes and the other one in her left arm extended to the side. "Nailed it! That would have looked so amazing if I had an audience."
Her dance as a bit unusual from then on, mixing in moves that were drawn from her martial arts training, though made to look pleasing to the non-existent audience. In fact she was better trying to combine the two to look even better during her fights. Maybe she'd also get a better plan on what to do that day during the exercise.
